INTRODUCTION
Water is vital to maintaining good health. Water replenishes lost uids and helps to
regulate temperature, promote digestion and detoxify.
You now own one of the most advanced home water ltration systems available to
provide you and your family with fresh, great tasting, and economical ltered water
from your own kitchen tap.
HOW IT WORKS
The Aqua ✓Nano utilizes electropositive technology as part of a multistage, high ow
ltering system with limited pressure drop.
• Stage 1: Pre-Filtration - The Pre-Filter removes larger suspended solids to help
maximize the life of your Aqua√HD™ cartridge.
• Stage 2: Electropositive Filtration - The second stage utilizes Aqua√HD™
electropositive ltration media with nanolevel ltration eciency.
• Stage 3: High Flow Carbon Core - The open structure of the carbon core
eectively adsorbs chlorine, lead, tastes and odors with a minimal impact in the
water ow.
The Aqua ✓Nano is equipped with an electronic ow meter to advise you when to
reorder and to replace the media in your Aqua√HD™ Cartridge.
FEATURES
The Aqua ✓ Nano UCU-300 and LX-300 models are designed to t under the counter,
great for those with limited counter space.
The Aqua ✓ Nano UCU-300:
• It has a pullout spray head with an armored hose for extra durability that allows you
to reach all parts of the kitchen sink as well as ll large containers.
• The Spray or Stream Function gives you the ability to switch from the regular water
stream to a spray. It is very useful for rinsing fruits and vegetables, washing dishes,
etc.
The Aqua ✓Nano LX-300:
• Provides a source of fresh ltered cold water, conveniently at the kitchen sink.
• There is no need to replace the existing faucet. The LX-300 installed next to it is a
stylish addition to any kitchen sink area.
To ensure the uninterrupted supply of ltered water, both Aqua ✓ Nano models are
equipped with a visual ow meter to indicate when it is time to replace the media
insert in the Aqua√HD™ Cartridge.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
∆ WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection. Always replace the Media Insert in the
Aqua√HD™ Cartridge when the indicator light turns red.
• This lter is engineered to lter municipally treated water in the home.
• It is essential that you follow the operation and maintenance instructions enclosed
for proper performance. Failure to follow the Use and Care instructions will void the
warranty.
• Do not use with water over 38˚ C (100˚F) or below 4˚C (40˚F).
Capacity
• The Aqua ✓Nano’s Aqua√HD™ has a maximum capacity of 11,355 liters (3,000
gallons). The Aqua√HD™ Media Insert must be replaced when the indicator light
ashes red.
• For optimum performance we recommend replacing the Aqua√HD™ Media Insert
at least every 5 years even if the red light has not yet come on.
• Actual capacity will depend on the amount of suspended solids and particles in your
local water system. In certain water supplies, tastes or odors may return or the ow
may decrease prior to the rated capacity. In these cases, the Aqua√HD™ Media Insert
should be replaced more often.
Note: The contaminants removed by the Aqua ✓Nano are not necessarily in your tap
water. The Aqua ✓Nano is intended for use only with municipally treated tap water.
Water of unknown origin can contain a variety of contaminants or substances that may
or may not be removed by the Aqua ✓Nano.
