General Safety Rules
Read all these instructions before
attempting to operate your product.
Save these instructions for future
reference.
1. Keep work area clear. Cluttered areas
and benches invite injuries.
2. Consider work area environment.
Do not expose tools to rain. Do not use
tools in damp or wet locations. Keep
work area well lit. Do not use tools in the

11. Do not abuse the cable. Never pull the
cable to disconnect it from the socket.
Keep the cord away from heat, oil and
sharp edge.
12. Secure work. Where possible use
clamps or a vise to hold the work. It’s
safer than using your hand.
13. Don’t overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all time.
14. Maintain tools with care. Keep
cutting tools sharp and clean for
better and safer performance. Follow
instructions for lubricating and
changing accessories. Inspect tool
cords periodically and if damaged
have them repaired by an authorized
service facility. Inspect extension cords
periodically and replace if damaged.
Keep handles dry, clean and free from
oil and grease.
15. Disconnect tools. When not in use,
before servicing and when changing
accessories such as blades, bits, cutters,
disconnect tools from the power supply.
16. Remove adjusting keys and
wrenches. Form the habit of checking
to see that keys and adjusting wrenches
are removed from the tool before turning
it on.
17.
Avoid unintentional starting. Ensure
switch is in “off” position when plugging in.
18. Use outdoor extension leads. When
the tool is used outdoors, use only
extension leads intended for outdoor
use and so marked.
19. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing,
use common sense and do not operate
the tool when you are tired.
20. Check damaged parts. Before further
use of the tool, it should be carefully
checked to determine that it will operate
properly and perform its intended
function. Check the alignment of moving
parts, binding of moving parts, breakage
of parts, mounting and any other
conditions that may affect its operation.

devices are provided for the connection

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Waste electrical products should
not be disposed of with household
waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist. Do not dispose

for information regarding the collection

TRANSPORTING THE SAW (FIG. 1)
To avoid damage, never carry the miter saw
by the switch handle, the cutting arm or the
miter handle. ALWAYS use the designated
carrying handle.
To lock the cutting head: When transporting
or storing the miter saw, the cutting head
should always be locked in the down
position.
1. Press the cutting head down to its
lowest position.
2. Push the hold-down latch (14) into the
locking hole.

connect the plug to power source outlet
until all assembly steps are completed
and you have read and understood the
safety and operational instructions.

CUTTING HEAD (FIG. 2)
Raising
To unlock the cutting head from the
collapsed position:
1. Push down the switch handle (1) slightly.
2. Pull out the hold-down latch (2).
3. Raise the cutting head to the uppermost
position.
NOTE: This cutting head is spring
loaded.
WARNING! To avoid injury and damage
to the saw, transport and store the miter
saw with the cutting head locked in the
down position. Never use the hold-down
latch to hold the cutting head in a down
position for cutting operations.
Locking
1. Push the switch handle (1) down to its
lowest position.
2. Push the hold-down latch (2) into the
locking hole to lock the cutting head.
IMPORTANT: Always use the carrying
handle when lifting or moving to avoid
damage to the machine.
INSTALLING THE MITER HANDLE
(FIG. 3)
Thread the miter handle (1) into the hole (2)
located at the front of the table.
INSTALLING THE DUST BAG (FIG. 4)
1. Squeeze the metal collar wings (1) at the
mouth of the dust bag (2).
2. Clip the dust bag (2) into the exhaust
port (3).
NOTE: To empty the dust bag, squeeze
the metal collar wings and remove from
exhaust port. Open zipper on underside
of bag and empty into waste container.
Check frequently and empty bag before
it gets full.

INSTALLING THE HOLD-DOWN CLAMP
ASSEMBLY (FIG. 5, 6)
1. Place the hold-down clamp assembly (1)
in one of the mounting holes (2) located
behind the base.
2. The hold-down clamp assembly (1) can
also be placed in one of the mounting
holes (3) located at the front of the base.

NOTE: Place the workpiece on the
table before place the hold-down clamp
assembly in the mounting hole located at
the front of the base.
3. Rotate the knob (4) on the hold-down
touch the workpiece and then secure the

WARNING !
To avoid injury:
●Alwaysunplug the saw to avoid
accidental starting. Remove all small
pieces of material from the table
cavity before performing any cuts.
The table insert may be removed for
this purpose, but always reattach
the table insert prior to performing a
cutting operation.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE
TABLE INSERT (FIG. 7)
1. To remove, loosen and remove the four
screws (1) on the table insert (2) with
a Phillips screwdrive and remove the
insert.
2. To install, reposition the table insert (2),
install the four screws (1) and tighten.

BEVEL STOP ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE: To ensure accurate cuts, alignment
should be checked and adjustments made
prior to use.
90° Bevel Adjustment (Fig. 8)
1. Loosen bevel locking handle (1) and tilt
the cutting arm completely to the right.
Tighten the bevel locking handle (1).
2. Place a combination square on the miter
table with the ruler against the table and
the heel of the square against the saw
blade to see if the blade is 90° to the
miter table.
3. If the blade is not 90° square with the
miter table, loosen the bevel locking
handle(1), tilt the cutting head to the
left, loosen the lock nut (2) on the bevel
angle adjustment bolt (3) and use a
10 mm wrench to adjust the bevel angle
adjustment bolt (3) depth in or out to
increase or decrease the bevel angle.
4. Tilt the cutting arm back to the right
at 90° (0°) bevel and recheck for
alignment.
5. Repeat steps1 through 4 if further
adjustment is needed.
6. Tighten bevel locking handle (1) and
lock nut (2) when alignment is achieved.
Bevel Pointer Adjustment (Fig. 9)
1. Loosen the screw (1) on the bevel
pointer (2).
2. Adjust bevel pointer (2) to the “0” mark
on the bevel scale and retighten the
screw (1).

45° Bevel Adjustment (Fig. 8)
1. Loosen bevel locking handle (1), tilt the
cutting arm to the left and tighten the
bevel locking handle (1).
2. Place a combination square on the miter
table to see if the blade is 45° to the
miter table.
3. If the blade is not at 45° to the miter
table, tilt the cutting arm to the right,
loosen the lock nut (4) and use a 10 mm
wrench to adjust the stop bolt (5) depth
in or out to increase or decrease the
bevel angle.
4. Tilt the cutting arm to the left to 45° bevel
andrecheck for alignment.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until the blade
is at 45° to the miter table.
6. Tighten bevel locking handle (1) and lock
nut (4) when alignment is achieved.
ADJUSTING CUTTING DEPTH
(FIG. 10)
NOTE: Before each operation, check to see
that the blade does not touch the base or
table. If the blade touches, the cutting depth
must be adjusted.
1. Loosen the locknut (1) with a 10 mm
hex wrench and adjust the bolt (2).
2. Tighten the locknut (1) after the desired
cutting depth is adjusted.
ADJUSTING FENCE SQUARENESS
(FIG. 11)
1. Loosen the three fence locking bolts (1).
2. Using a square (2), lay the heel of the
square against the blade and the ruler
against the fence (3). Check to see if
the blade is square to the fence.

Adjust the fence (3) forward or backward
90° tothe blade and tighten the bolts (1).
MITER SCALE (FIG. 12, 13)
The miter saw table has positive stops at the
most common angle settings: 0°, 15°, 22.5°,
31.6°, and 45°. These positive stops position
the blade at the desired angle quickly and
accurately. Follow the process below for the
quickest and most accurate adjustments.

1. Turn the miter handle (1) clockwise to
loosen it.
2. Move the table while press down on the
positive stop locking lever (2) and hold

and tighten the miter handle (1).
Miter angle pointer adjustment (Fig. 13):
1. Loosen the screw (1) that holds the
pointer (2) with a Phillips screwdriver
through the table insert (3).
2. Adjust the pointer (2) to the 0° mark and
retighten the screw (1).
EXTENSION WING USE (FIG. 14, 15)
NOTE: In order to avoid injury or damage
to the machine, the left/right extension wing
should be used to support the workpiece
while cutting long pieces.
1. Loosen the knob (1-Fig. 15) then slide
the left extension wing (2) to desired
position and tighten the knob. (Fig. 14)
2. Repeat the above step to slide out the
right extension wing (3).
REPETITIVE CUTTING USING THE STOP
PLATE (FIG. 15)
The stop plate is designed for making
repetitive cuts of the same length.
NOTE: Use only one stop plate at a time.
NEVER use both stop plates.
1. Rotate the stop plate (4) to vertical
position.
2. If stop plate (4) will not rotate, loosen
the locking screw (5) 1/4 turn using a
screwdriver and 10 mm wrench.

1. For stationary use, place the saw
in the desired location, directly on a
workbench where there is room for
handling and proper support of the
workpiece. The base of the saw has
four mounting holes. Bolt the base of
the miter saw (1) to the workbench(5),
using the fastening method as shown
in Fig. 16.
NOTE: Mounting hardware is not
included with this tool. Bolts, nuts,
washers and screws must be purchased
separately.
2. For portable use, place the saw on a
19.05 mm thick piece of plywood. Bolt
the base of the miter saw securely to
the plywood using the mounting holes
on the base. Use C-clamps to clamp
this mounting board to a stable work
surface at the worksite.

BODY AND HANDS POSITION (FIG. 17)
Never place hands near cutting area. Keep
hands outside the “No-Hands Zone” which

TURNING THE SAW ON (FIG. 18)
Squeeze the trigger switch (1) and the miter
saw will be turned on.
NOTE: To make the ON/OFF switch
childproof. Insert a padlock (not provided) (2)
through the hole (3) in the trigger switch,
locking the tool’s switch, preventing children
machine on.
SLIDING FENCE (FIG. 19)
1. Unlock the fence cam locking lever (1) to
loosen the sliding fence (2).
2. Extend the sliding fence (2) by sliding
it out. After aligning the fence to the
desired bevel cutting angle, lock the
fence cam locking lever (1) to secure the
position of the sliding fence (2).
NOTE: When transporting the saw,
always secure the sliding fence in the
collapsed position and lock it.
WARNING! To avoid injury from
materials being thrown, unplug saw
to avoid accidental starting, and then
remove small materials.
WARNING!
● Extend the fence by sliding it out to
the required location or remove the
left sliding fence if necessary when
making a bevel cut.
● When making a compound cut, the
left sliding fence should be removed
as long as the bevel angle is 45°.

다음 슬라이딩 보조펜스를 들어 올려
기계에서 분리합니다.
설치
1. 펜스 뒤쪽에 있는 슬롯(3)을 볼트(4)에
맞추어 슬라이딩 보조펜스를 각도절단기
펜스 위에 놓아주십시오.
2. 너트(5)를 밀어 슬롯(6)에 맞추십시오.
3. 슬라이딩 보조펜스를 잠그려면 펜스 캠
잠금 레버(1)를 기계 앞쪽으로 밀어
주십시오.
작업 종료 후 각도절단기 정리
●각도절단기가 켜진 상태에서 자리를 비우지
마십시오. 전원을 끄십시오. 톱날이 멈출
때까지 기다리십시오.
●작업장의 문을 잠그십시오. 마스터 스위치를
분리하십시오. 어린이 및 타인의 손이 닿지
않는 곳에 기계를 보관하십시오.
마이터 각도 절단 (그림. 21)
1. 베이스 각도핸들(1)을 시계 반대 방향으로
돌려서 테이블의 잠금을 플어주십시오.
2. 각도고정 레버(2)를 누른 상태에서 베이스
각도핸들(1)을 잡고 테이블을 원하는 각도
표시 눈금(3)에 고정하십시오.
3. 각도고정 레버(2)를 풀고 베이스
각도핸들(1)을 다시 조여주십시오.
각도절단기를 사용하기전에 베이스
각도핸들(1)이 조여 있는지 확인하십시오.

BEVEL CUT (FIG. 22)
1. Loosen the bevel locking handle (1).
2. Tilt the cutting head left to the desired
angle, and tighten the bevel locking
handle (1).
COMPOUND CUT (FIG. 23)
A compound cut is the combination of a
miter and a bevel cut simultaneously.
1. Loosen the miter handle (1).
2. Press down on the positive stop locking
lever (2) and hold the miter handle (1)
meanwhile. After moving the table to the
desired degree, release the positive stop
locking lever (2) and tighten the miter
handle (1).
3. Loosen the bevel locking handle (3).
4. Tilt the cutting head left to the desired
angle, andtighten the bevel locking
handle (3).
NOTE: When cutting, do not turn the
cutting direction toward yourself, so as
to cause danger and make sure each
locking handle has been tightened.
WARNING! The sliding fence must be
fully extended to the leftwhen making
bevel cuts. Failure to extend the sliding
fence maynot allow enough space for
the blade to pass through, which could
result in serious injury. At extreme miter
or bevel angles, the saw blade may also
contact the fence.

베벨 각도 절단 ( 그림 .22)
1. 베벨각도 고정핸들(1)을 풀어주십시오.

고정핸들(1)을 조여 주십시오.
컴파운드 각도 절단 (그림. 23)
컴파운드 각도 절단은 마이터 각도와 베벨 각도를
동시에 진행하는 것입니다.
1. 베이스 각도핸들(1)을 풀어주십시오.
2. 각도고정 레버(2)를 누른 상태에서 베이스
각도핸들(1)을 잡고. 테이블을 원하는 각도에
맞춘 다음, 각도고정 레버(2)를 풀고 베이스
각도핸들(1)을 조여 주십시오.
3. 베벨각도 고정핸들(3)을 풀어 주십시오.
4. 커팅 헤드를 원하는 각도로 기울여서
베벨각도 고정핸들(3)을 조여 주십시오.
절단시 위험 할 수 있는 방향으로
절단 방향을 돌리지 말고 각각의 잠금 핸들이
조여 있는지 확인하십시오.
경고! 슬라이딩 보조펜스는 베벨각도로 절단
할 때 완전히 왼쪽으로 연장되어 있어야 합니다.
슬라이딩 보조펜스를 연장하지 않으면 톱날이
통과 할 수 있는 충분한 공간이 확보되지 않아
심각한 부상을 초래할 수 있습니다. 베벨 컷 최대
각도에서 톱날이 펜스와 충돌 할 수도 있습니다.
