3. PREPARATION
• Save these instructions. For your safety, read, understand, and follow the information provided with and on this
pair of jack stands before using.
• The owner and/or operator of this equipment should have an understanding of jack stands and safe operating pro
cedures before attempting to use.
• The owner and/or operator should be aware that use of this product may require special skills and knowledge.
• Instructions and safety information should be conveyed in the operator’s native language before use of these jack
stands is authorised.
• If any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of these jack stands as outlined in this factory authorised manual,
remove from service immediately.
• Inspect before each use. Do not use if parts are broken, bent, cracked, or damaged (including labels).
• Any jack stand that appears damaged in any way, operates abnormally or is missing parts, should be removed from
service immediately and the manufacturer notified.
• If you suspect that the jack stand was subjected to a shock load (a load suddenly dropped unexpectedly upon it),
immediately discontinue use until stands have been checked by a factory authorised service centre (Contact
distributor or manufacturer for list of Authorised Service Centres).
• Have a qualified professional perform an annual inspection.
• Labels and owner’s manuals are available from manufacturer.
• No replacement parts are available for these devices.
• Replace as a matched set only.
Heavy Duty Axle Jack Stands are designed to support rated capacity, partial vehicle loads consisting of one end of a
vehicle. Use as a matched pair to support one end of a vehicle only.
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list
and diagram below.
If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install, or operate the product. Contact customer
service.

Tools Required for Assembly: Hammer and punch (Not included).
NEVER use automotive jack stands to support one side of a vehicle! Rated capacity is per pair only!

1. Study, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this device.
2. Do not exceed rated capacity.
3. Use only on hard, level surfaces.
4. Centre load on saddle.
5. Use as a matched pair only.
6. Do not modify the jack stands in any way. Unauthorised modification may impair the function and/or safety and
could affect the life of the equipment.
7. Use jack stands only for intended purpose.
8. Support only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
9. Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.
10. Use wheel chocks or other blocking device on opposing wheels before using jack stands.
11. Do not use if damaged in any way. Always check of damaged or worn-out parts before using the jack stands.
Broken parts will affect the jack stands operation.
12. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
13. Failure to heed these markings may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
14. When jack stands are not in use, store them in a secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good
working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
15. Not for use by children or people with reduced mental capacity.
16. Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Ensure children and other bystanders are kept at a safe distance when using jack stands. Ensure all tools and
personnel are clear before lowering load. Use only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer.
Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
BEFORE USE
1. Inspect stands before each use. Do not use if components are bent, broken, or cracked. Ensure that all parts
move freely.
2. Verify that the product and the application are compatible. If in doubt, contact Customer Support.
3. Before using this product, read the owner’s manual and familiarise yourself thoroughly with the product and the
hazards associated with its improper use.
4. Always check the vehicle owners or service manual for the location of proper lift and support points.

5. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install ratchet bar into frame (fig.1) with ratchet portion of bar aligned with locking pawl (stopper).
2. Move the ratchet bar to its lowest position by raising the locking handle, thereby releasing the stopper, and
guiding the bar downward (fig. 2).
3. Bend metal tab in (Fig. 3) using a hammer and punch. This will help prevent inadvertent separation of the ratchet
bar from base frame.
1. Adjust height by pulling up on ratchet bar.
2. The weight of the locking handle should secure the ratchet bar in desired position. To confirm this, simply push
down on the locking handle. Check to ensure ratchet is secure before loading.
3. Carefully position jack stands so that load is centred on stand’s saddle.
4. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the stands.
5. Check to ensure vehicle is secure before working on, around or under. When used to support vehicle, use wheel
chocks on all unlifted wheels in both directions to prevent inadvertent movement.
1. Ensure that all tools, equipment, and personnel are clear before lowering the load.
2. With suitable jack, raise vehicle clear of stands.
3. Carefully release stopper and allow ratchet to glide down to lowest position.
4. Carefully remove stands, then carefully lower vehicle with lift device.
Periodically inspect each stand. Ensure all parts move freely. Do not apply oil or grease to any portion of this product.
If rust appears, sand affected area and cover with suitable utility paint. Please note that there is no replacement parts
available for this device.
