ALxxx-RENG Owner’s Guide
Congratulations on the purchase of your state of the art vehicle security system. This sys-
tem has been designed to provide years of trouble-free operation.
The ALxxx-RENG Alarm System; is a reliable car alarm system, which provides 2 designs to
prevent the car thieving. The rst design is to use the loud siren. When any illegal intrusion
happens, the siren will sound loudly to warn the intruder. The second design is to use an im-
mobilisation system to disable the engine start. With the peripheral devices, the system can
provide the following main protection:
Ignition trigger: illegally turn IGNITION ON, the alarm will be triggered.
Boot trigger: illegally open the boot, the alarm will be triggered.
Door trigger: illegally open the door, the alarm will be triggered.
AUX trigger: it can be used on any other additional sensor, e.g. bonnet trigger.
Illegally open the bonnet, the alarm will be triggered.
Ultrasonic / Microwave trigger: moving inside the car, the alarm will be triggered.
shock sensor: this sensor is mounted in the vehicle & designed to pick up impacts to
the vehicle or glass.
This owner’s guide should help you to get the most out of your system. Please take the time
to read it prior to using the system.
ALxxx-RENG Alarm system consists of the following main components:
Two Remote transmitters
Main unit with remote start and central door locking relays built in.
shock sensor - adjustable
Ultrasonic sensor (OPTIONAL)
Engine immobiliser relay
Status LED
Siren
Wiring harness (with fuses) - All cables included in the box.

Arming
You can activate, or arm, the system by pressing LOCK on your transmitter for one second.
When system arms you will hear a short siren sound and the hazard lights will ash once. If
the vehicle’s power locks have been connected to the system, the doors will lock and close
electric window (if vehicle has total closure or optional module - windows rollup module - has
been installed)..
While the system is armed, the status LED will ash approximately once per second, indicating
that the system is actively protecting your vehicle. If you hear a second siren sound followed
by 3 chirps, it indicates door (s) not closed properly.
Disarming
To disarm the system press UNLOCK. You will hear 2 chirps, and the hazard lights will ash
twice. If power locks are connected to the system, the doors will unlock.
Temporary isolation of shock / ultrasonic sensors
It’s possible to temporarily disconnect the shock and ultra sonic sensors when leaving children
or pets in the car. Press and hold LOCK for approx 5 seconds. You will hear 1 chirp, followed
by further 3 chirps and the hazard light will ash three times. This indicates system is fully
armed minus ultra sonic and shock sensors.
Alarm Memory
If any sensor has been activated whilst in armed mode, when disarmed system will indicate
which arming area was triggered.
Alarm Zone Triggered Normal Arming Mode:
Ultrasonic / Shock Sensor Siren sound 3 times and hazard light ash 3 times
Door / ignition Siren sound 4 times and hazard light ash 4 times
Unique Alarm Trip Indicators
System’s siren sounding will tell you how alarm was triggered.
• If a door or ignition was triggered siren will do a continuous blast.
• If one of the Ultra sonic or shock sensors triggered, siren will sound intermittently.
Car Finder
When system is in armed mode, press LOCK once, siren sound once, hazard light will ash
once. This feature is particularly useful to nd the car in a large car park etc.

System Diagnostics
The microprocessor at the heart of your security system is constantly monitoring all of switch-
es and sensors that are connected to it. It detects any faulty switches and sensors and pre-
vents them from disabling the entire system.
When arming the system if any door or bonnet left open, system will automatically notify by
extra chirp and hazard light will ash.
Auto Nuisance prevention
It prevents annoying repetitive trigger sequences due to faulty sensors. If system detects
faulty sensor, it will automatically by-pass faulty sensor.
Siren Silencing During Alarm
When the siren has been triggered, siren can be turned off without switching off the alarm.
Press LOCK button once during siren sounding duration.
Boot / Trunk Release
Under disarm mode press and hold UNLOCK for approx 3 seconds to release trunk.
Auto Lock & Unlock doors via remote
Turn the ignition on, press LOCK to close all doors. Press UNLOCK to open all doors.
Locking doors while Driving
When you press brake pedal your system will automatically lock all doors while driving. Turn
ignition off to open all doors.
Please note: if ignition on and any doors opened, it will not lock doors via above method.
Disarming without transmitter
This feature allows you to disarm the security system without the remote transmitter should
it be lost, damaged or disabled.
To disarm the security system, open the door (alarm will sound) turn ignition to the on and off
position ve times within 5 seconds. Successful disarming of security system will be indicated
by siren sounding 3 times. If the system does not disarm, you may have waited too long; turn
the ignition off and try again.
Auto arming reminder
When car is parked and owner left car after 10 seconds, system will sound siren 3 times and
ash hazard light 3 times to remind the owner to arm the security system.

When system disarmed courtesy light will come on automatically for 30 seconds.
Rapid Resume Logic
This system will store its current state to non-volatile memory. If power is lost and then recon-
nected the system will recall the stored state from memory. This means if the unit is in armed
mode and the battery disconnected for any reason, when battery is reconnected the unit will
still be in armed mode. This applies to all states of the system including armed, disarmed etc.
Learning Transmitter Codes
This alarm system can support up to 4 remote controls. The included transmitter is pre-
programmed into the system memory at the factory. Follow the below steps to add or delete
a new transmitter.
1. In disarming mode, IGNITION OFF position. Turn IGNITION ON/OFF 8 times within 2
seconds and lastly turn it ON, siren will sound once, indicating system entered into code
learning mode.
2. Press and hold (within 10 seconds) any button on the rst remote for 1 second, siren
will sound for longer duration once and followed by siren sounding for short duration. This
indicates remote has been learned. The second, third and fourth remote can be learned at
the same way. After the fourth remote nished learning, the siren will sound for long dura-
tion to indicate the system exited learning mode. Turn IGNITION off. If the remote did not
get any new codes within 10 seconds, the system will exit learning mode automatically.
Note: once entered into code learning mode, all previously learned remotes will be cleared.
