16. Avant de le brancher à l’alimentation, assurez-vous que l’indication de tension électrique Inscrite sur
l’appareil correspond bien à celle délivrée par votre prise murale. Utilisez uniquement des prises murales
reliées à la terre.
17. Veillez à ne pas plier, écraser, pincer le câble d’alimentation, ni à l’exposer à des sources de chaleur
ou des objets pointus ou tranchants. Évitez de laisser l’appareil devenir un obstacle sur lequel quelqu’un
risquerait de trébucher.
CONSIGNES SUR L’UTILISATION DE GRILLE-PAINS
1. Pendant et après l’utilisation, le bottier chauffe fortement. Ne le touchez donc jamais, mais utilisez les
boutons et poignées. Attention ! Risque de brulures !
2. Après utilisation, laissez bien refroidir l’appareil avant de le toucher.
3. Utilisez uniquement du pain coupé en tranches.
4. N’insérez jamais d’aliments trop gros, des objets ou du film métalliques dans le grille-pain. Risque de choc
électrique !
5. N’essayez pas d’enlever un aliment du grille-pain tant que le levier est enclenché dans le bas de l’appareil.
6. Ne laissez pas le grille-pain sans surveillance pendant l’utilisation.

UTILISATION
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Installation
Pour placer correctement le grille-pain, veuillez lire
attentivement et respecter les consignes suivantes.
-Posez l’appareil sur une surface solide, sèche,
plane et résistant à la chaleur.
-Le pain peut se consumer. N’utilisez pas le grille-
pain à proximité de rideaux, coussins, ou tout autre
objet facilement inflammable, car ils pourraient
prendre feu.
-Ne placez pas l’appareil sur une plaque de cuisson
ni à proximité d’un appareil émettant de la chaleur
(grill ou friteuse, par exemple).
-Ne placez pas l’appareil à proximité d’un évier.
-Laissez suffisamment d’espace autour de l’appareil
pour que l’air puisse circuler librement.
-Ne couvrez pas l’appareil pendant l’utilisation.
NOTE : Avant la toute première utilisation,
allumez le grille-pain pendant quelques minutes
à vide, sans insérer de pain. Il se peut que cela
provoque un peu de vapeur-ou de fumée- et
qu’une odeur se fasse sentir. Ceci est normal et
ne doit pas vous inquiéter. SI nécessaire, aérez
la pièce.
NOTE : Ne laissez jamais le grille-pain griller à
vide.
ATTENTION: Avant de nettoyer l’appareil,
débranchez l’alimentation secteur et laissez-le
refroidir.
Utilisation
1. Branchez la prise d’alimentation du grille-pain à
une prise murale.
2. Insérez une ou plusieurs tranches de pain dans la
fente. Veillez à ce que le pain ne soit pas trop épais
pour la fente, sinon il risque de rester coincé. Ne
grillez toujours qu’une seule tranche par fente.
3. À l’aide du régulateur de brunissement spécifiez
le niveau souhaité (1 = légèrement bruni, 6
=fortement grillé). Lorsque vous utilisez le grille-
pain pour la première fois ou que vous n’êtes
pas sur du niveau que vous devez sélectionner,
choisissez le réglage 2 ou 3.
4. Baissez le levier jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche. Les
éléments chauffants s’allument et grillent le pain.
Dès que le niveau de brunissement souhaité est
atteint. les éléments chauffants s’éteignent et le
pain est alors éjecté de la fente.
5. Si vous voulez interrompre le processus avant la
fin, appuyez sur le bouton CANCEL (Annuler).
6. Vous pouvez continuer de monter le levier pour
pousser le pain grillé hors de la fente. Lorsque
vous prenez le pain, faites attention à ne pas vous
bruler; utilisez si nécessaire une manique.
Décongeler du pain
Si votre pain est encore congelé, vous pouvez régler
le grille-pain de façon à ce que le pain décongèle
avant de griller. Pour ce faire, procédez comme
décrit ci-dessous.
Après avoir descendu le levier en bas de l’appareil,
appuyez sur le bouton DEFROST(Décongeler). La
LED située à côté du bouton s’allume.
Le temps de grillage augmente légèrement pendant
le processus de décongélation.
Réchauffer du pain grillé
Si votre pain a refroidi après avoir été grillé, et
que vous souhaitez donc le réchauffer, préparez
l’appareil comme expliqué précédemment pour faire
griller du pain et, après avoir descendu le levier
jusqu’au bas de l’appareil, appuyez sur le bouton
REHEAT (Réchauffer).
Le processus de réchauffage dure moins longtemps
que le processus de grillage normal.
Nettoyer le boitier
Nettoyez le bottier de temps en temps à l’aide
d’un chiffon humide et, si nécessaire, un peu de
produit nettoyant doux. N’utilisez pas de détergents
abrasifs. Vous risqueriez d’endommager l’appareil.
Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau- ni
dans aucun autre liquide - pour le nettoyer.
Vider le tiroir ramasse-miettes
Nettoyez le bottier de temps en temps à l’aide
d’un chiffon humide et, si nécessaire, un peu de
produit nettoyant doux. N’utilisez pas de détergents
abrasifs. Vous risqueriez d’endommager l’appareil.

Enlever les tranches de pain
Si une tranche de pain reste coincée dans une des
fentes, procédez de la façon suivante:
•Interrompez le processus de grillage à l’aide
du bouton CANCEL et débranchez le cordon
d’alimentation secteur. Attendez ensuite que
l’appareil refroidisse.
•Utilisez un objet non métallique, telle une cuillère
en bois, pour enlever avec précaution la tranche
de pain. Ce faisant évitez de toucher les éléments
chauffants du grille-pain.

IMPORTANT SAFETY AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. These include the
following:
1.READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not place any part of this toaster in water or any other liquid.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or (state specific part or parts in question)
in water or other liquid.
4. Prior to first use, the toaster should be used for a few minutes without bread in it. There will be some
smoke at first, this is entirely normal.
5. Do not touch the hot surface. Use handles or knobs.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off
parts.
7. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized technical service.
8. Do not use outdoors. Use only pre-sliced bread. Keep the toaster out of reach of children
9. Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages, or metal utensils into the toaster. This may result in
electric shock.
10. Do not use the toaster near curtains, upholstery or other decorative fabrics, as they can easily catch fire
and cause a safety hazard.
11. Do not remove food from the toaster while the plunger is down.
12. Do not remove the crumb tray while the toaster is plugged in. Disconnect from power supply, wait for it
to cool, then remove the crumb tray.
13. Bread may burn. Therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible
materials. They must be watched.
14. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
c) If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
15. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the

OPERATION CLEANING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
•Place your toaster on a at, dry, stable surface.
•Plug the toaster in, and adjust it to your required
toasting time, using the Browning control (6).
•Place bread or other food suitable for toasting into
the slot, then press down the Start control (2).
•It will remain down until the bread is toasted.
•If you wish to stop the toasting process, press the
Cancel button (3), this will automatically eject the
toast, and cancel the heating elements.
•The Reheat button (4) is to reheat the bread
toasted and got cold already. When you press the
Reheat button (4), the indicator light next to the
button will illuminate. The toasting time will reduce
for reheating.
•The Defrost button (5) is to defrost the frozen
bread and toast it. When you press the Defrost
button (5), the indicator light next the button
will illuminate. The toasting time will enlarge for
defrosting.
•If the bread sticks in the toaster, unplug it, wait
for it to cool, then remove the bread. NEVER USE
METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE THE BREAD.
•After use, slide out the Crumb tray (7), wipe away
crumbs using a dry cloth. Insure to insert the crumb
tray before using the toaster again.
•Always allow at least 1 minute’s cooling time
between cycles if toaster is being used more than
once at a time.
•If the lead connecting the toaster to the power
supply is damaged, it should only be replaced
by a qualified service engineer or the toaster
manufacturer.
•Must put in the bread when using, the toaster can
not be used without bread.
•This toaster is only for home use.
NOTE: THE TOASTER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO
COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE CLEANING.
•Do not immerse in water.
•Unplug from the power outlet (mains).
•DO NOT use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or
steel wool to clean the toaster.
•Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into
the toaster – cleaner should be applied to a soft
cloth.
•The outside of the toaster should be wiped with
a soft, damp cloth, and polished with a soft, dry
cloth.
•After cleaning, wait a few minutes for the toaster
to dry completely before use.
•An authorized service representative should
perform any other servicing.

VERWENDUNG
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Hinweise zu
Aufstellung und Positionierung des Toasters.
-Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine hitzebeständige,
feste, ebene und trockene Oberflache.
-Brot kann verbrennen. Verwenden Sie den Toaster
nicht in der Nähe von Vorhangen, Polstern oder
leicht entflammbaren Gegenstanden, die sich
entzünden könnten.
-Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf eine Koch platte
oder in die Nähe eines hitzeerzeugenden Gerätes
(z.B. Grill oder Fritteuse).
-Stellen Sie das Gerat nicht in der Nähe eines
Spülbeckens auf.
-Lassen Sie ausreichend Abstand um das Gerat
herum, so dass die Luft frei zirkulieren kann.
-Decken Sie das Gerat während des Betriebs nicht
ab.
HINWEIS: Schalten Sie vor der ersten
Verwendung den Toaster einige Minuten ein,
ohne Brot einzulegen. Möglicherweise kommt es
hierbei zu etwas Dampf- oder Rauch- sowie zu
Geruchsentwicklung. Dies ist normal und kein
Grund ZUT Sorge. Lüften Sie gegebenenfalls den
Raum.
HINWEIS: Lassen Sie den Toaster niemals “leer”
rösten.
ACHTUNG: Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den
Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät gut
Abkühlen !
Bedienung
1. Schließen Sie den Netzstecker des Toasters an
eine Steckdose an.
2. Legen Sie eine oder mehrere Scheiben Brot oder
Toast in die Toaster schächte. Achten Sie darauf,
dass das Brot nicht zu dick für den Schacht ist, da
es ansonsten steckenbleiben kann. Toasten Sie
immer nur eine Scheibe pro Schacht.
3. Wahlen Sie über den Bräunungsregler die
gewünschte Stufe (1 = leicht geröstet. 6 = stark
geröstet). Falls Sie den Toaster das erste Mal
verwenden oder
nicht sicher sind, welche Stufe Sie wählen sollen,
Wählen Sie die Einstellung 2 bis3.
4. Drücken Sie den Brotheber nach unten, bis
er einrastet. Die Heizelemente schalten sich
ein und rösten das Brot. Sobald die eingestellte
Bräunungsstufe erreicht wird, schalten sich die
Heizelemente ab und das Brot wird nach ob en aus
dem Schacht gehoben.
5. Falls Sie den Vorgang vorzeitig abbrechen wollen,
drücken Sie die Taste CANCEL (Abbrechen).
6. Sie können den Brotheber weiter nach oben
drücken, um das gerostete Brot weiter aus dem
Schacht zu schieben. Achten Sie beim Entnehmen
des Brotes darauf, sich nicht zu verbrennen, und
verwenden Sie gegebenenfalls einen Topflappen.
Gefrorenes Brot auftauen
Falls ihr Brot noch gefroren ist, können Sie den
Toaster so einstellen, dass er es vor dem Rösten
zunächst auftaut. Gehen Sie hierzu vor wie ob
en unter “Bedienung“ beschrieben. Drücken Sie,
nachdem Sie den Brotheber nach unten geschoben
haben, die Taste DEFROST (Auftauen). Die
LED neben der Taste leuchtet auf. Die Rüstzeit
verlängert sich während des Auftauvorgangs ein
wenig.
Getoastetes Brot erneut aufwärmen
Falls ihr Brot nach dem Toasten erkaltet ist und Sie
es erneut aufwärmen möchten, gehen Sie vor wie
oben unter „Bedienung“ beschrieben und drücken
Sie, nachdem Sie den Brotheber nach unten
geschoben haben, die Taste REHEAT (Aufwärmen).
Der Aufwärmvorgang nimmt weniger Zeit in
Anspruch als der normale Röstvorgang.
Gehäuse reinigen
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse von Zeit zu Zeit mit
einem feuchten Tuch und gegebenenfalls etwas
mildem Reinigungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder aggressiven
Reiniger, die das Gerät beschädigen konnten.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät zur Reinigung niemals in
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
Krümelschublade leeren
Reinigen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit die Krümelschublade,
indem Sie sie einfach herausziehen und die Krümel
abklopfen / abwischen.
Brotscheiben entfernen
Falls eine Toast- oder Brotscheibe in einem der
Schachte steckenbleibt. gehen Sie vor wie folgt:
•Unterbrechen Sie den Toastvorgang mit der Taste
CANCEL und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Warten
Sie anschließend, bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist.
•Lösen Sie die Brotscheibe vorsichtig mit ein
nicht-metallischen Gegenstand, zum Beispiel
einem Holzlöffel. Vermeiden Sie es dabei, die
Heizelemente des Toasters zu berühren.
