Matos®Fridge Installation & Guide
PLEASE READ
Unpacking & Setting Up
When installing the fridge, please ensure that the space is adequate with a minimum 5cm ventilation
gap either side of the machine and above.
Install the two rubber “bungs” in the port hole on the side of the fridge (both inside and outside) and
place the shelves evenly throughout the fridge to assist with air-flow.
If you have a Matos Cloud fridge, install the supplied fuse in the
3.15A battery fuse holder on the back of the fridge.
The use of a surge protector is required for warranty requirements.
You may require force to insert the plug into some models of surge
protector fully to ensure the plug is connected correctly.
This fridge has been pre-programmed and tested by Rollex Medical technicians before being
dispatched to you and no adjustment should be necessary. The refrigerator will not need
reprogramming after being unplugged or a power cut.
Typically the set point is set to 3.5°C and the refrigerator will then cycle above this point. It is normal
for the temperature on the display to change as it shows the current internal probe temperature.
Typically it will cycle between 3.5° – 6°C.
It is recommended you adjust the front feet or install furniture cups to level / tilt the cabinet so that
the door will close from approximately 1 cm.
NOTE: Placing the fridge on carpet is not recommended.
IMPORTANT: Overstocking, poor airflow and doors left ajar can lead to ice buildup and
this may require being manually defrosted.

MATOS®Fridge Controller Guide
1. Heating system signal (Orange LED)
2. Cooling system signal (Blue LED)
3. Program activation signal (Green LED). On when
program is activated. Blinking when program is
activated but set-point temperature hasn’t been
reached. Off when program is not activated.
4. Alarm signal (Red LED)
5. Alphanumeric LCD display
6. Arrows showing menu options available
7. LCD temperature display
8. Escape/Exit button
9. Menu Down button
10. Menu Up button
11. Enter/Accept button
Home Screen
The display above is the panel’s “home screen” which shows the current temperature and operating program.
This reading is showing Program 1 and temperature of 3.6°.
NOTE: The display screen will remain at the screen you finish/leave on, and needs to be manually set back to
the home screen. All functions should start and finish from the home screen.
WARNING: If the STOP screen is displayed, do not press and hold the ENTER key (for 4 seconds) as this will
completely stop the fridge. If you have stopped the fridge, you will need to press the UP/DOWN key until the
START screen is displayed and then press and hold the ENTER key (for 4 seconds) to restart the fridge.
Matos Cloud Models
The first LED (1) indicates that the MATOS Monitoring system is
powered.
The second LED (2) indicates when the MATOS too-hot Override is
operating; meaning that the MATOS Override has been activated to
bring the internal temperature back down to the correct range.
The third LED (3) indicates when the MATOS too-cold Override is
operating; meaning that the MATOS Override has been activated to
bring the internal temperature back up to the correct range.
NOTE: The MATOS Override function will only be activated if the unit’s internal temperatures exceed the
normal operating range (normally 2-8°C).
To view the Average, Maximum and Minimum Temperatures…
1. Press the EXIT key
The display will show
STATISTICS
2. Press the ENTER key
The display will show
STATISTICS – Tavg
the Average Temperature,
in this example 3.5°C
3. Press the DOWN key
The display will show
STATISTICS – Tmax
the Maximum Temperature,
in this example 4.8°C
4. Press the DOWN key
The display will show
STATISTICS – Tmin
the Minimum Temperature,
in this example 3.0°C
5. Press the DOWN key
The display will show
STATISTICS – data
the # of samples recorded,
in this example 8340.
6. Press the DOWN key
The display will show
STATISTICS – RESET.
Press the ENTER key to reset
the control panel readings.
To leave the STATISTICS screens and return to the home screen, press the EXIT key 3 times.
ALARM Management
The controller alarm is typically set to go off if…
1. The fridge is below 2° or above 8° for more than 10 minutes.
2. Door is left open (if model has door sensor).
3. Power to the fridge is lost/cut.
The alarm will sound until cleared. To acknowledge and clear the alarms, press the ENTER key.

Internal Light
Press the ENTER key for 3 seconds to turn the internal light on/off.
