RPM Control
Light pressure on the ON-OFF switch (5) results in low
rotational speed, thus allowing drilling to begin in a
smooth, controlled manner.
Further pressure on the switch results in an increase in
speed.
RPM Preselection
The desired rotational speed can be preselected with
the thumbwheel (8) (also possible during operation).
The rotational speed to be used depends upon the mate-
rial and can be determined in actual practice.
For higher loading of the machine, always set the con-
trol (8) to the maximum speed.
After long periods at low operating speed, run the drill
at high speed and without load for approx. 3 minutes.
Speed selection
Two rpm ranges can be preselected with the speed
selector switch (10):
Speed 1: Lower rpm range
Speed 2: Higher rpm range
The speed can be switched during drill oper-
ation. However, this should not be done
while operating at full load.
The rotation speed can be electronically adjusted
within these ranges.
Percussion drilling
To switch on the impact mechanism, press the switch
(11) below the spindle collar (2).
To switch off, pull out the switch (11).
Tungsten carbide drill bits are required for drilling con-
crete, stone and masonry.
Changing rotational direction
Set rotational direction selector (4) to R (right or clock-
wise) or L (left or anticlockwise). The reversing or
anticlockwise operation enables application for tasks
such as loosening of screws.
Rotational direction selector (5) is locked when ON-
OFF switch is activated.
Change rotational direction only when machine is
not running.
Changing the ring gear chuck (illustr.)
Use an open-end spanner (22 - SW 22) on spanner sur-
face (18) to hold spindle. Place the chuck key (16) in
one of the 3 bores and loosen the chuck by turning it to
the left using the key as a lever. If the chuck is frozen
in place, a tap on the chuck key (16) should loosen it.
Practical advice
Sharpening drill bits
Only HSS drill bits in perfect condition (HSS = high
speed steel) should be used for drilling metal.
Bench Stand
We recommend the use of a bench stand
for work where greater precision is required.
Machine vice
Clamp work pieces tight for drilling, i.e.., using the
machine vice. This keeps the work piece from
from turning and thus prevents resulting accidents.
Drilling tiles
Set selector switch (11) to the drill symbol. Wait until
the tile has been completely penetrated before switch-
ing over to the hammer symbol and continuing with
percussion drilling.
Storage
The unit should be stored in a dry place where it is pro-
tected against freezing.
Environmental Protection
Do not open worn out machines and return to the col-
lection facilities provided for recycling.
Maintenance
KThe ventilation slots (9) on the motor casing
should be cleaned out from time to time.
KAfter approx. 100 hours of operation, check the
motor brushes and replace if necessary. Clean the
motor housing.
KAfter approx. 200 hours of operation, renew the
grease filling in the gearbox.
To verify that the protective insulation remains
intact, the machine must be subjected to a tech-
nical safety test afterwards. For this reason, this
work must be performed exclusively by a pro-
fessional electro-workshop.

Sikkerhedsforskrifter
Det er kun muligt at arbejde sikkert med
apparatet, hvis De læser betjeningsvej-
ledningen og brochuren sikkerhedsfor-
skrifter helt igennem og overholder
disse anvisninger.
KFør brug skal maskine, stik og ledning kontrolleres.
Ved beskadigelse skal man lade en fagmand
udskifte det beskadigede.
KStikket må kun sættes i stikkontakten, når maskinen
er slukket.
KApparatet må ikke være fugtigt og må ikke benyttes
i fugtige omgivelser.
KPas på med langt hår. Arbejd kun med tætsiddende
klæder.
KSørg for, at arbejdsmaterialet er spændt godt fast.
KLedningen skal altid føres bagud fra maskinen.
KSørg altid for at stå sikkert under arbejdet.
KAf sikkerhedsgrunde skal ekstrahåndtaget (13) altid
anvendes.
KTag hensyn til boremaskinens reaktionsmoment,
især når boret blokerer.
Sikkerhedskobling
Maskinen er forsynet med en sikkerhedskobling,
som åbner ved pludselig fastklemning af boret
(f.eks. i beton).
KFør ethvert arbejde på maskinen skal stikket tages
ud af stikkontakten.
KBorepatronnøglen må kun opbevares i den dertil
beregnede holder ved kablet.
Ibrugtagning og betjening
Forkert betjening kan føre til skader. Overhold derfor
altid følgende henvisninger.
- Skarpe bor giver et godt boreresultat og beskytter
maskinen.
- Maskinen må ikke blive belastet så meget, at den
kommer til stilstand.
- Skift kun omdrejningsretning, når maskinen står
stille.
Strømkildens spænding skal stemme overens med
angivelserne på maskinens typeskilt.
Maskiner med betegnelsen 230 V kan også tilsluttes
til 220 V/240 V.
Ekstra greb
Af sikkerhedstekniske grunde skal vedlagte ekstra greb
(13) altid benyttes. Det fastgøres på spændehalsen (2)
med vingeskruen (3).
Boredybden indstilles med dybdeanslaget (14) ved at
løsne vingeskruen (15).
Det ekstra greb skal gøre det mere sikkert at føre
maskinen, især hvis der opstår reaktionsmomenter
(f.eks. hvis boret kommer i klemme).
Det ekstra greb indstilles i længden ved at løsne vinge-
skruen (14). Det ekstra greb skal helst altid indstilles i
maks. længde.
Boreværktøjet udsættes for et vist modtryk
under borearbejdet. Kun håndgrebet (7) må
udsættes for dette tryk, ikke det ekstra greb (13).
Ispænding af bor
Tandkransborepatron
Værktøjet indsættes og fastspændes ensartet i alle 3
udboringer ved hjælp af en borepatronnøgle.
Start og stop
Tryk på start-/stop-kontakten (5) for at starte maski-
nen. Slip den igen for at stoppe maskinen.
Vedvarende drift
Start-stop-kontakten (5) trykkes ind og låses i trykket
tilstand fast med låseknappen (6).
Start-stop-kontakten (5) trykkes ind og slippes igen.
