Assembly Instructions
Jumbo Sand Box

Before you commence the assembly process we recommend that you read these instructions
thoroughly beforehand to familiarise yourself with the assembly process and to also check that you have
the correct components. If for any reason you need assistance, you can find our contact details on the
final page of these instructions.
We highly recommend that any assembly is carried out on a flat, level surface if possible and that you
use another person to assist you if necessary.

2 x Long box sides
2 x Short box sides
2 x Lid panels
4 x End frames
2 x Cross brace
24 x M8 Coach screws
8 x 65mm screws
10mm socket or spanner
Electric screwdriver with No2 Pozidrive bit
Or No2 Pozidrive Screwdriver
Sand play table

Ensure that you have all of the correct parts as listed
on the front page of these instructions, including any
fixings. Start construction by taking the four box
sides...
...and arranging one long and one short one as
shown...

...before securing the corner with 4 coach screws
through the long panel into the edge of the short
panel.
Add the second long panel to the other side as
shown...

...and secure in place with 4 coach screws.
Add the final (short panel) using 4 more coach screws
before moving on to the lid assembly.

For each lid you will need one of the Lid panels, a
Cross brace and two of the End frames.
Lay the lid panel upside down as shown.

Position one of the End frames as shown so that the
protruding cross piece is positioned at the outer edge
of the panel....
...and the squared end is toward the inner edge.

Working from within the Lid panel, attach the End
frame using 4 coach screws...
...and a 65mm screw through the end of the Lid
frame edging into the End frame.

Repeat steps 9 to 12 for the remaining End frame.
Position the Cross brace between the two protruding
End frames as shown and secure in place with 3 x
65mm screws at both ends.

Repeat steps 8 to 14 and assemble the other Lid.
Place the box in your chosen location and line the
bottom with a woven or perforated membrane. Fill
with good quality play sand then place the covers
over the box as shown. When not in use simply slide
the covers over the box to keep your sand clean and
dry.
