Installation Steps
1. Unscrew the retainer screw at the bottom of the card reader and remove the back plate.
2. Position the back plate of the card reader on the vehicle surface and mark screw and center hole positions.
3. Drill out the ½” center hole and mount the backing plate with the 4 self tapping hex head screws.
4. Run the 060-1026 cable’s 1x4 Microfit end through the hole from the LMU Controller and connect it to the
card reader.

5. Thread the cable connector in the hole and reattach the card reader to the back plate.
6. Turn off vehicle ignition.
7. Disconnect the 2x10 Microfit connector from the LMU Controller.
8. Connect the red wire from the 060-1030 cable to a fused ignition source. Alternately, splice it into the white
ignition wire on the 2x10 Microfit cable harness.
9. Connect the 060-1030 cable adaptor’s 1x5 Microfit to the LMU Controller’s AUX 2 connector.
10. Connect the 060-1026 cable’s 2x2 Microfit jack to the 060-1030 cable adaptor’s 2x2 Microfit jack.
11. Reconnect the 2x10 Microfit connector to the LMU Controller.
12. Power on and test.
