Questo orologio è stato prodotto in Svizzera nel rispetto dei più rigorosi standard di
qualità propri dell’industria orologiera svizzera.
L’orologio Salvatore Ferragamo è garantito a livello internazionale da Vertime B.V. per
un periodo di 24 (ventiquattro) mesi a partire dalla data di acquisto, in conformità alle
condizioni stabilite dalla presente garanzia.
È possibile estendere la garanzia di 2 anni fino a 4 anni registrandosi sul sito
www.ferragamo.com.
La garanzia è valida a condizione che il vostro orologio sia stato acquistato presso un
rivenditore autorizzato Salvatore Ferragamo e che il certificato di garanzia sia stato
debitamente compilato in ogni sua parte, firmato e timbrato dal rivenditore.
Questa garanzia copre eventuali difetti di fabbricazione esistenti al tempo in cui
l’orologio Salvatore Ferragamo è stato venduto.
Sono esclusi dalla garanzia:
• il cinturino o il bracciale, la batteria, il vetro
• i danni causati da incidenti e dall’uso improprio dell’orologio
• il furto o lo smarrimento dell’orologio
• i danni causati dall’usura così come tutti i danni diretti o indiretti causati dalle
circostanze sopra citate.
Qualsiasi intervento sull’orologio deve essere effettuato da un centro di assistenza
autorizzato da Vertime B.V., con pezzi di ricambio originali; gli interventi da parte di
riparatori non autorizzati rende la presente garanzia non valida.
Per interventi di manutenzione o riparazione, rivolgersi al rivenditore presso cui è stato
acquistato l’orologio oppure ad uno dei centri di assistenza autorizzati indicati sul sito
www.ferragamo.com.
Nessuna persona è autorizzata a modificare i termini di questa garanzia. Ogni
altra forma di garanzia che il rivenditore vi può fornire rimane sotto la sua diretta
responsabilità.

CONSIGLI DI MANUTENZIONE GENERALI
Per un funzionamento ottimale dell’orologio, si consiglia di seguire quanto
indicato in queste istruzioni d’uso:
• Per gli orologi automatici, si raccomanda un controllo da parte di un
centro di assistenza autorizzato ogni 3-4 anni
• Per gli orologi al quarzo, la batteria ha una durata massima di due
anni. Per prevenire danni ai componenti interni si raccomanda di farla
sostituire un po’ prima della scadenza presso un centro assistenza
autorizzato
• Dopo un bagno in acqua salata, sciacquare l’orologio con acqua dolce e
asciugarlo completamente
• Occorre evitare che l’orologio sia esposto a temperature troppo elevate
(saune, bagni turchi, ecc) che potrebbero danneggiare le guarnizioni
• Evitare impatti violenti o contatto con sostanze corrosive o superfici che
potrebbero graffiare l’orologio.
IMPERMEABILITÀ
L’impermeabilità dell’orologio è garantita da una serie di guarnizioni che
si degradano a causa dell’usura. Per un utilizzo normale dell’orologio si
consiglia pertanto di far effettuare un controllo dell’impermeabilità almeno
una volta ogni due anni.
Nel caso in cui l’orologio fosse usato in attività sportive subacquee, il
controllo va effettuato con cadenza annuale.
Si raccomanda di non manipolare mai la corona o i pulsanti del cronografo
quando l’orologio è bagnato, infatti l’acqua potrebbe entrare nella cassa e
danneggiare il movimento.
Tutti gli orologi Ferragamo sono impermeabili. Il grado di impermeabilità
è riportato sul fondello della cassa dopo la scritta “Water Resistant”, ma è
necessario seguire le seguenti raccomandazioni:
PULIZIA ESTERNA
Si raccomanda di lavare il proprio orologio Ferragamo in acqua tiepida e
sapone (tranne il cinturino in pelle), con l’ausilio di una spazzola morbida.
Risciacquare accuratamente con acqua dolce e asciugare con un panno
morbido e asciutto.
Per i cinturini in pelle o tessuto, evitare il contatto con acqua, profumi,
sostanze chimiche.
SMALTIMENTO
Il centro assistenza autorizzato che sostituirà la batteria dell’orologio, si
occuperà anche del suo smaltimento secondo le locali norme vigenti. Il
vostro orologio non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti domestici, ma
portato ad un punto di raccolta autorizzato.
Questo processo aiuta a salvaguardare l’ambiente e la salute umana.

REGOLAZIONE DELL’ORA
Per regolare l’ora è necessario esercitare una pressione sul pulsante A
situato sul profilo della cassa, da effettuare con lo strumento a forma di
cuore che accompagna l’orologio.
Per far avanzare le lancette, operare una pressione continua sul pulsante
correttore fino al raggiungimento dell’ora desiderata. Interrompendo la
pressione l’avanzamento delle lancette si arresta.
Per far avanzare la lancetta dei minuti di un minuto, operare sul pulsante
una breve pressione inferiore a 2 secondi.
Nota: non è possibile invertire il senso di rotazione delle lancette.
BATTITO DEL CUORE
Per azionare il movimento del cuore premere il pulsante B. Il cuore batterà
per un tempo definito. È possibile fermare il cuore prima del tempo
premendo nuovamente il pulsante B.
RESET DELL’OROLOGIO
L’orologio è dotato di una batteria al litio 3V. In caso di sostituzione della
batteria è necessario il reset delle lancette delle ore, dei minuti e del
cuore. Per entrare in modalità reset, premere il pulsante B per 6 secondi.
Entro i successivi 10 secondi effettuare la regolazione della lancetta delle
ore, premendo il pulsante A e portandola al 12. Premere nuovamente il
pulsante B ed effettuare entro 10 secondi la regolazione della lancetta dei
secondi, premendo il pulsante A e portandola al 12. Premere nuovamente
il pulsante B ed effettuare entro 10 secondi la regolazione del cuore,
premendo il pulsante A e accertandosi che le due metà siano unite. Una
volta effettuato il reset, far trascorrere 10 secondi per procedere alla
regolazione dell’ora esatta.

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
This Salvatore Ferragamo watch was manufactured in Switzerland according to the
highest quality standards of the Swiss watchmaking industry.
The watch is covered by an international guarantee from Vertime B.V. for a period of
24 (twenty four) months from the date of purchase, in compliance with the conditions
established by this warranty.
The warranty may be extended from two to four years by registering on the website
www.ferragamo.com.
The warranty is valid on condition that your watch was purchased at an authorized
Salvatore Ferragamo dealer and that the warranty certificate has been duly completed
in full, signed and stamped by the dealer.
This warranty covers any manufacturing defects existing at the time the Salvatore
Ferragamo watch was sold.
The warranty does not cover:
• the strap or bracelet, the battery and the glass
• damage caused by accidents and improper use of the watch
• the theft or loss of the watch
• damage caused by wear and all direct or indirect damage caused by the aforemen-
tioned circumstances.
Any work on the watch must be performed at a service center authorized by Vertime B.V.
using original spare parts; unauthorized repairs invalidate this warranty.
For maintenance or repair, contact the dealer where the watch was bought or one of the
authorized service centers published on the website
www.ferragamo.com.
No one is authorized to change the terms of this warranty. Every other form of warranty
offered by dealers is their direct responsibility.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
For optimal watch operation, we advise following these instructions for
use:
• Automatic watches should be checked by an authorized service center
every 3-4 years.
• The battery in quartz watches has a maximum life of two years. To
prevent damage to the internal components, you should have it replaced
at an authorized service center a little before the end of this period.
• After immersion in salt water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry
completely.
• Make sure the watch is not exposed to very high temperatures (saunas,
steam baths, etc.), which could damage the seals.
• Avoid violent blows or contact with corrosive substances or surfaces that
could could scratch the watch.
WATER RESISTANCE
The watch is water resistant thanks to a series of seals that deteriorate due
to wear. For normal watch use, we therefore recommend checking water
resistance at least every two years.
If the watch is used in underwater sports, this check should be performed
annually.
Do not operate the crown or chronograph pushers when the watch is wet
because water could enter the movement and damage it.
All Ferragamo watches are water resistant. The level of water resistance
is indicated on the case back after the words “Water Resistant”, but the
recommendations below should be followed:
EXTERNAL CLEANING
We recommend washing your Ferragamo watch (apart from the leather
strap) in warm, soapy water with the help of a soft brush. Rinse carefully
with fresh water and dry with a soft, dry cloth.
For leather or fabric straps, avoid contact with water, fragrances and
chemical substances.
DISPOSAL
The authorized service center that replaces the watch battery will also
dispose of it pursuant to local legislation. Your watch must not be disposed
of with domestic waste, but taken to an authorized collection point.
This helps protect the environment and human health.

RESETTING THE WATCH
The watch is fitted with a 3V lithium battery. When replacing the battery,
the hour and minute hands and the heart must be reset. To enter reset
mode, press button B for six seconds. Within the next 10 seconds, set
the hour hand to 12 o’clock while pressing button A. Press button B again
and within the next 10 seconds, set the seconds hand to 12 o’clock while
pressing button A. Press button B again and within the next 10 seconds
adjust the heart, making sure that the two halves are united while pressing
button A. After performing the reset, wait 10 seconds and set the correct
time.
SETTING THE TIME
To set the time, gently press button A on the side of the case using the
heart-shaped tool supplied with your watch.
To put the hands forward, press the corrector button continuously until the
desired time is reached. When the pressure ceases, the hands will stop.
To put the minute hand forward by one minute, press lightly the button
for less than 2 seconds.
Note: it is not possible to invert the direction of movement of the hands.
HEARTBEAT
To start the heartbeat, press button B. The heart will beat for a set period
of time. To stop the heartbeat early, press button B again.
