Neverleave surface units beneathyourmicrowave oven unattended at high heat settings.
Boil overs cause smoking and greasy spillovers that mayignite and spread if the vent fan is
operating. To minimize automatic fan operation, use adequate sized cookware and use high
heat on surface units only when necessary.
If materials inside the microwave oven should ignite, keep the oven doorclosed, turn the oven
off and disconnect the powercord, orshut off powerat the fuse orcircuit breakerpanel. If the
door is opened, the re may spread.
Use of inadequatelysized cookware on top of the stove mayresult in melting of microwave
dooror other damage.
