USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations, you have purchased one of the most
secure mechanical steering wheel immobilizers
available on the market.
To provide maximum security you should feed the
yellow bar of the STOPLOCK
®
PRO through the
steering wheel, and position the locking forks astride
one arm and around the rim as in the diagram below.
The forks should then be snapped shut and locked by
turning the key fully anticlockwise.
A SLIGHT MOVEMENT OF THE FORK ARM MAY BE
NECESSARY TO ALLOW THE KEY TO TURN AND
THE DEADLOCK SYSTEM TO FULLY ENGAGE.
For increased visibility STOPLOCK
®
PRO is best fitted
with the black case on a bottom segment of the
steering wheel, with the yellow bar pointing upwards.
The protruding end of the bar will jam against either
the door frame, the windscreen or the driver’s legs to
prevent the steering wheel being rotated.
Remove the STOPLOCK
®
PRO by fully inserting the
key, rotating it clockwise as far as it will go and pulling
open the forks. Take care to avoid damaging your
cars’ dashboard, indicator or windscreen wiper stalks
when removing the STOPLOCK
®
PRO.
IF IT IS NECESSARY TO CLEAN THE STOPLOCK
®
PRO BAR, USE ONLY A MILD SOLUTION OF SOAP
AND WATER. DO NOT USE SOLVENTS.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations, you have purchased one of the most
secure mechanical steering wheel immobilizers
available on the market.
To provide maximum security you should feed the
yellow bar of the STOPLOCK
®
PRO through the
steering wheel, and position the locking forks astride
one arm and around the rim as in the diagram below.
The forks should then be snapped shut and locked by
turning the key fully anticlockwise.
A SLIGHT MOVEMENT OF THE FORK ARM MAY BE
NECESSARY TO ALLOW THE KEY TO TURN AND
THE DEADLOCK SYSTEM TO FULLY ENGAGE.
For increased visibility STOPLOCK
®
PRO is best fitted
with the black case on a bottom segment of the
steering wheel, with the yellow bar pointing upwards.
The protruding end of the bar will jam against either
the door frame, the windscreen or the driver’s legs to
prevent the steering wheel being rotated.
Remove the STOPLOCK
®
PRO by fully inserting the
key, rotating it clockwise as far as it will go and pulling
open the forks. Take care to avoid damaging your
cars’ dashboard, indicator or windscreen wiper stalks
when removing the STOPLOCK

For increased visibility STOPLOCK® is best
tted with the black case on a bottom segment
of the steering wheel, with the yellow bar pointing
upwards.The protruding end of the bar may jam
against either the door frame, the windscreen
or the driver’s legs to prevent the steering wheel
being rotated. If it does not touch any of these
places, it will not hinder the performance of this
product.
Remove the STOPLOCK® by fully inserting
the key, rotating it clockwise as far as it will go
and pulling open the forks. Take care to avoid
damaging your cars’ dashboard, indicator or
windscreen wiper stalks when removing the
STOPLOCK®.

Félicitations, vous voilà en possession de l’un des
dispositifs mécaniques d’immobilisation de volant
les plus sûrs du marché.
An d’assurer une sécurité maximale, faites passer
la canne jaune du STOPLOCK® à travers le
volant et positionnez les fourches de verrouillage
à cheval sur un bras et autour de la jante du
volant comme illustré ci-dessous. Fermez ensuite
les fourches avant de les verrouiller. Pour cela,
tournez la clé en eectuant un tour complet dans
le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.

Pour une meilleure visibilité, il est préférable de
placer la partie noire du STOPLOCK® sur une
partie inférieure du volant, la canne jaune pointant
vers le haut. L’extrémité saillante de la canne
peut se coincer contre l’encadrement de la porte,
le pare-brise ou les jambes du conducteur pour
empêcher la rotation du volant. Toutefois, même
si elle n’entre en contact avec aucune de ces
parties, les performances du produit ne seront pas
entravées.
Retirez le STOPLOCK® en insérant complètement
la clé, puis en la tournant au maximum dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre et en tirant
sur les fourches pour les ouvrir. Veillez à ne pas
endommager le tableau de bord ou les commodes
de votre véhicule en retirant le STOPLOCK®.

Wegfahrsperre vorzugsweise am unteren Teil des

Das hervorstehende Ende des Bügels kann evtl.
vom Türrahmen, der Windschutzscheibe oder
vom Bein des Fahrers blockiert werden, um ein
Drehen des Lenkrads zu verhindern. Sollte es
mit keiner der genannten Stellen in Berührung
kommen, beeinträchtigt dies die Funktionsweise
des Produkts in keiner Weise. Entfernen Sie
die STOPLOCK®, indem Sie den Schlüssel bis
zum Anschlag einführen, ihn im Uhrzeigersinn
so weit wie möglich drehen und die Krallen
auseinanderziehen. Achten Sie beim Entfernen
der STOPLOCK® darauf, das Armaturenbrett,
die Blinker- oder Scheibenwischerhebel nicht zu
beschädigen.

Voor maximale beveiliging voert u de gele stang
van de STOPLOCK® door het stuur en plaatst
u de vergrendelingshaken op één arm van het
stuur en rond de rand, zoals in de onderstaande
afbeelding. Klik daarna de haken dicht en
vergrendel ze door de sleutel helemaal linksom te
draaien.

Voor een betere zichtbaarheid kan de
STOPLOCK® het beste worden gemonteerd met
de zwarte behuizing aan de onderkant van het
stuur, met de gele stang naar boven.
Het uitstekende uiteinde van de stang kan
blokkeren tegen de deuromlijsting, de voorruit of
de benen van de bestuurder om te voorkomen dat
het stuur gaat draaien. Het product werkt echter
ook als het geen van deze plaatsen aanraakt.
Verwijder de STOPLOCK® door de sleutel
volledig in het slot te steken, deze zo ver mogelijk
met de klok mee te draaien en de haken open
te trekken. Pas op dat u het dashboard, de
richtingaanwijzers of de ruitenwisserhendels
van uw auto niet beschadigt wanneer u de
STOPLOCK® verwijdert.

¡Enhorabuena! Ha adquirido uno de los
inmovilizadores mecánicos de volante más
seguros del mercado.
Para garantizar la máxima seguridad, la barra
amarilla del STOPLOCK® debe atravesar el
volante y las horquillas de bloqueo deben estar
colocadas en ambos lados del brazo y en torno
al borde del volante, tal y como se muestra
en el diagrama que encontrará más abajo. A
continuación, debe cerrar de golpe las horquillas
y bloquearlas girando la llave por completo en
sentido antihorario.

las piernas del conductor, evitando así que se gire
el volante. De todas formas, si no está en contacto
con ninguno de estos lugares, las prestaciones de
este producto no se verán afectadas.
Retire el STOPLOCK® insertando la llave por
completo, girándola en sentido horario hasta que
haga tope y tirando de las horquillas para abrirlas.
Tenga cuidado de no dañar el salpicadero, los
intermitentes o las varillas del limpiaparabrisas de
su automóvil al retirar el STOPLOCK®.

Parabéns pela compra de um dos imobilizadores
mecânicos de volantes mais seguros disponíveis

Para fornecer a segurança máxima, deve passar a
barra amarela do STOPLOCK® através do volante
e posicionar os garfos de travamento sobre um
braço e à volta do aro, tal como mostrado no
diagrama abaixo. Os garfos devem ser fechados
e travados rodando a chave totalmente no sentido
contrário ao dos ponteiros do relógio.

Tenha cuidado para não danicar o painel de
instrumentos do veículo, o manípulo de indicação
de mudança de direção ou o manípulo de
acionamento das escovas do limpa para-brisas ao
remover o STOPLOCK®.
