SETTING UP THE CIGAR COOLER
When choosing a location to store the cigar cooler, consider the following:
• Place the unit on a sturdy, level surface that is strong enough to support the weight of the unit when full.
• Ensure that there is at least six (6) inches of space behind the cooler and at least 10 inches on each side
of the cooler.
• It is not recommended to place the cooler on a carpet or rug.
Using a level, adjust the feet to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
ATTACHING THE HANDLE
BEFORE FIRST USE
When you first turn on the cigar cooler (or restart it after an extended period of non-use), there may be a few
degrees of variance between the temperatures you select and the one indicated on the LCD readout. This is
normal after periods of inactivity. Leave the cigar cooler on for a few hours before resuming normal use.
Place the cigar cooler in a dry, well-ventilated space with an ambient temperature between 50 °F – 80 °F
(10 °C – 26 °C).
NOTE: If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended range, the unit's performance may
be affected. Extreme heat or cold may cause the interior temperature to uctuate.
Other factors may affect performance including the internal lights being on, the rack the cigars are on, and
the temperature/humidity of the room. For best results, the humidity in the room should be between 50% to 75%.
1. Carefully pull back the door
gasket without removing it
completely. No tools are
required as the gasket is
easily removed by hand.
2. Guide the two (2) included
screws through the pre-drilled
holes in the door until they
are entirely through.Then,
align the handle with
the door.
3. Tighten the screws using
a Philips-head screwdriver
(not included) until the
handle sits flush and is
secured tightly against
the door frame.
NOTE: DO NOT over-tighten
as this will cause damage
to the handle assembly.
4. Put the door gasket back
to its original position.

5
MAINTAINING CIGAR HUMIDITY
Keeping your cigars at the proper humidity will help you achieve the perfect burn and flavor. To set the humidity
in your cooler, follow the steps below:
1. Fill the water reservoir to about ¾ full with 100% distilled water.
2. Place the filled reservoir into its place at the bottom of the cigar cooler (regularly check the water level and
refill as necessary).
3. Select your desired humidity setting using the up and down buttons on the control panel.
4. After selecting your desired humidity, keep the door closed as often as possible. Once the desired level of
humidity has been reached, the cooler will work to maintain that humidity level.
The humidity level of cigars is a matter of personal taste and varies depending on the kind of cigars you are
storing. The generally recommended humidity level for cigars is between 65% and 75%.For best results, we
recommend these humidity levels for the following applications:
65% – Ideal for Cuban cigars and those who enjoy dryer cigars with a stronger burn.
69% – Standard level recommended by cigar manufacturers.
72% – Best choice for humidor seasoning, not recommended to consistently keep cigars at this level.
