Sicherheitshinweise
Um Kurzschluss vorzubeugen, dieses Produkt ausschließlich im Hause und nur in
trockenen Räumen verwenden. Setzen Sie die Komponenten nicht Regen oder
Feuchtigkeit aus. Nicht neben oder nahe eines Bades, Schwimmbades usw.
verwenden.
Setzen Sie die Komponenten Ihres Systems nicht extrem hohen Temperaturen oder
starken Lichtquellen aus.

Das Produkt niemals öffnen: Das Gerät enthält Bestandteile mit lebensgefährlicher
Stromspannung. Überlassen Sie Reparaturen oder Wartung nur Fachleuten.

Batterien: Halten Sie die Batterien außer Reichweite von Kindern. Geben Sie die
Batterien als chemischen Kleinabfall ab. Verwenden Sie niemals alte und neue
Batterien oder unterschiedliche Batteriesorten durcheinander. Entfernen Sie die
Batterien, wenn Sie das System längere Zeit nicht benutzen. Achten Sie beim
Einlegen der Batterien auf die Polarität (+ / -): Falsches Einlegen kann zu
Explosionsgefahr führen.
Allgemeines
Diese Universal-Fernbedienung UFB 106/116 ist eine 6 in 1 Fernbedienung und kann
folgende Gerätetypen bedienen: TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR, DVD. (z. B. DVD-
Recorder/Player, Videorecorder, Verstärker, Tuner, etc.).
Die Beschriftung der Tasten bezeichnet nicht den zu programmierenden Gerätetyp,
sie dient deshalb nur der leichteren Übersicht.
Notieren Sie sich bitte die Codes Ihrer Geräte, die Sie für die Programmierung
verwendet haben. Falls die Codes z. B. nach einem Batteriewechsel nicht mehr
gespeichert sein sollten, können Sie die Fernbedienung so schneller programmieren.
Sie müssen einen vierstelligen Gerätecode für jedes Gerät, das Sie mit der Universal-
Fernbedienung bedienen möchten, auf eine Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) programmieren.
Videorecorder: Führen Sie die Codesuche bitte mit eingelegtem Band durch.
Gerätecodes programmieren
Gerätecode nach Code-Liste eingeben
Die Codes der entsprechenden Geräte sind der Codeliste, die dieser
Bedienungsanleitung beiliegt zu entnehmen.
•Schalten Sie das betreffende Gerät manuell ein.
•Halten Sie die Taste Setup (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die gewünschte Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) kurz.
•Geben Sie dann den entsprechenden vierstelligen Code aus der Code
Tabelle ein.
•Zur Bestätigung jedes Tastendrucks geht die rote LED kurz aus.
•Wenn die Codeeingabe gültig war, erlischt die rote LED nach der Eingabe
der letzten Stelle.
•Wurde ein ungültiger Code eingegeben, blinkt die rote LED drei Sekunden
lang, bevor sie erlischt. Sollte das Gerät nicht erwartungsgemäß reagiert,
wiederholen Sie die Programmierung ggf. mit einem anderen Code. Bitte
probieren Sie alle zu Ihrer Marke angegebenen Codes aus.
•Wählen Sie den Code aus, auf den alle verfügbaren Befehle Ihrer
Fernbedienung korrekt reagieren.
•Sollten Sie damit auch keinen Erfolg haben, dann versuchen Sie es mit
der im Kapitel "Automatischer Suchlauf" beschriebenen Suchmethode.
Manueller Code-Suchlauf
•Schalten Sie das betreffende Gerät manuell ein.
•Halten Sie die Taste Setup (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die gewünschte Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) kurz.
•Drücken Sie mehrmals nacheinander (dies kann bis zu 350 Mal sein) die
Taste POWER (1) , nur bei VCR bitte die Taste Chan+ (21) oder Chan–
(21)
•bis das Gerät, welches gesteuert werden soll, ausgeschaltet, oder den
Kanal wechselt oder entsprechend reagiert. Die Code-Suche wird bei der
momentan auf der Gerätegruppe gespeicherten Codenummer begonnen.
•Drücken Sie kurz OK (23) um den Code zu speichern. Aufgrund der
umfangreichen Anzahl der verschiedenen Code-Nummern sind pro
Gerätetyp bis zu 350 unterschiedliche Codes vorprogrammiert. In
Einzelfällen ist es möglich, dass nur die gebräuchlichsten Hauptfunktionen
verfügbar sind. Bei einigen speziellen Gerätemodellen kann es sein, dass
die beschriebene Vorgehensweise nicht zum Erfolg führt.

Automatischer Suchlauf
Wenn Ihr Gerät nicht auf die Fernbedienung anspricht, obwohl Sie alle für Ihren
Gerätetyp und die entsprechende Marke aufgeführten Codes ausprobiert haben,
versuchen Sie es mit dem automatischen Suchlauf. Hierdurch können Sie auch solche
Codes solcher Marken finden, die in der Gerätecode-Liste nicht aufgeführt sind.
•Schalten Sie das betreffende Gerät manuell ein
•Halten Sie die Taste Setup (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die gewünschte Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) kurz.
•Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf das Gerät und drücken Sie einmal kurz
die Taste Chan+ (21).
•Hat das Gerät keine Programm-Funktion, drücken Sie statt Chan+ (21) die
Taste POWER (1).
•Die Fernbedienung startet nach 6 Sekunden die Code-Suche und sendet
im 1-Sekundentakt (siehe auch nächsten Abschnitt) nacheinander alle
Codes. Bei jedem Senden leuchtet die rote LED auf.
•Sobald das Gerät auf die Fernbedienung reagiert, drücken Sie OK (23).
Haben Sie es verpasst, rechtzeitig OK zu drücken, können Sie mit der
Taste Chan– (21) schrittweise zum Code zurückspringen, auf den das
Gerät reagiert hat.
•Um die Suche abzubrechen, drücken Sie EXIT (24).
Wenn die Fernbedienung statt sekündlich nur alle 3 Sekunden einen neuen Code
senden soll, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor.
Drücken Sie innerhalb von 6 Sekunden nach Drücken der Taste Chan+ (21) (bzw.
POWER (1)) wie in zuvor beschrieben, die Taste Chan+ (21) oder Chan – (21) noch
einmal. Die Fernbedienung sendet jetzt nur alle 3 Sekunden einen neuen Code.
Dadurch gewinnen Sie mehr Zeit, um den Vorgang abzubrechen, allerdings dauert die
Codesuche dadurch auch länger.
Codesuche nach Handelsname
•Diese Funktion bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, nach Handelsnamen zu
suchen (siehe Code-Liste).
•Schalten Sie das betreffende Gerät manuell ein.
•Halten Sie die Taste Setup (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die gewünschte Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) kurz.
•Geben Sie den einstelligen Code laut folgender Tabelle ein.

•Drücken Sie mehrfach die Taste Chan+ (21) (oder bei Videorecordern
POWER (1) oder bis das Gerät entsprechend reagiert. Gehen Sie dabei
zügig vor, da sonst die automatische Codesuche gestartet wird.
•Speichern Sie den Code durch Drücken von OK (23).
•Wurden alle Codes durchsucht, blinkt die rote LED für ca. 3 Sekunden.
Code-Identifizierung
Die Code-Identifizierung bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, bereits eingegebene Codes, die
in der Fernbedienung gespeichert sind, zu bestimmen. So gehen Sie vor.
•Schalten Sie das betreffende Gerät manuell ein.
•Halten Sie die Taste Setup (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die gewünschte Quellentaste (TV, SAT, AMP, AUX, VCR,
DVD) kurz.
•Drücken Sie kurz die Taste Setup (4), die rote LED erlischt kurz beim
Tastendruck.
•Um die erste Zahl zu finden, drücken Sie die Zifferntasten von 0 bis 9.
•Wenn die rote LED kurz ausgeht, ist es die erste gespeicherte Zahl.
•Um die zweite Zahl festzustellen, drücken Sie wiederum die Zifferntasten
von 0 bis 9, bis die rote LED ausgeht.

•Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang für die dritte und die vierte Zahl.
•Die rote LED erlischt, sobald die Taste für die vierte Zahl gedrückt wurde.
•Die Code-Identifizierung ist jetzt abgeschlossen.
Normaler Betrieb
Nachdem Sie die Programmierung Ihrer Fernbedienung für Ihre Audio/Video-Geräte
vorgenommen haben, arbeitet die Fernbedienung in den gebräuchlichsten
Hauptfunktionen wie die Original-Fernbedienung des jeweiligen Gerätes.
Richten Sie Ihre Fernbedienung auf das gewünschte Gerät und drücken Sie die
entsprechende Quellentaste. Die rote LED leuchtet kurz auf, bleibt aber nicht an. Sie
aktivieren die Funktionen nun durch Drücken der entsprechenden Funktionstaste Ihrer
Universal-Fernbedienung, bei jedem Tastendruck leuchtet die rote LED kurz auf.
Unter Umständen ist nicht jede Funktion Ihrer Original-Fernbedienung auf der
Universal-Fernbedienung direkt verfügbar.
Insbesondere bei neueren Geräten ist es möglich, dass die Funktionen zunächst
unter anderen Tasten als erwartet abgelegt oder gar nicht verfügbar sind.
Zweite Bedienebene:
Durch drücken der Taste Setup (4) und danach einer beliebige Taste steht Ihnen eine
Tastenfunktionen der 2. Belegungsebene zur Verfügung. Häufig können Sie bei
Fernsehern so über Lautstärke- und Programmtasten Farbe und Helligkeit steuern.
Aber auch viele andere, selten gebrauchte Tasten finden Sie auf der zweiten Ebene.
10er- Tastatur und AV:
Die 10er-Tastatur (10) und die Umschalt Taste (19) um 2-stellige Zahlen
(Kanalnummern) einzugeben.
Mit der AV Taste wählen Sie normalerweise den AV-Eingang des Fernsehgerätes für
z.B. den Sat Receiver oder den Videorecorder.
Sonderfunktionen
Punch-Through-Funktion:
Bei Ihrer UFB106/16 Fernbedienung können Sie wählen, welches Gerät die
Lautstärke / Mute- Tasten steuert. Die Lautstärke / Mute- Tasten sind im
Auslieferzustand auf den jeweiligen Gerätetypen gesetzt.
Lautstärke/Stummschaltung auf einen Gerätetyp programmieren
•Halten Sie die Setup Taste (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die Mute Taste (20) bis die rote LED blinkt einmal, dann
lassen die Mute Taste (20) wieder los.
•Drücken Sie eine Quellentaste für das Gerät, auf das die Lautstärke- und
Stummschaltungs-Funktion übertragen werden soll.
•Drücken Sie einmal die Mute Taste (20), die rote LED geht aus.
Lautstärke/Stummschaltung für jeden einzelnen Gerätetyp programmieren
•Halten Sie die Setup Taste (4) für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die rote
LED dauerhaft aufleuchtet.
•Drücken Sie die Mute Taste (20) bis die rote LED blinkt einmal, dann
lassen die Mute Taste (20) wieder los.
•Drücken Sie die Quellentaste für das Gerät, das nur seine eigene
Lautstärke- und Stummschaltungsfunktion haben soll.
•Drücken Sie einmal die Vol - Taste (9)
•Drücken Sie einmal die Mute Taste (20), die rote LED geht aus.
Beleuchtung der Tasten:
Sollten Sie die Fernbedienung UFB 116 erworben haben, bietet diese Fernbedienung
eine Tastenbeleuchtung die mit Hilfe der Taste Light (8) in verschiede Modi gesetzt
werden kann.
Im Auslieferungszustand ist Tastenbeleuchtung so eingestellt das die Beleuchtung
durch drücken einer beliebigen Taste für ca. 5 sec eingeschaltet ist.
Wenn Sie bei eingeschalter Tastenbeleuchtung die Taste Light (8) drücken, können
Sie dadurch die Beleuchtung in den „Aus“ Modus setzen. Wenn Sie nun eine beliebige
Taste außer der Taste Light (8) drücken wird die Tastenbeleuchtung nicht
eingeschaltet. Um diesen Modus wieder zu verlassen, müssen nur einmal die Taste
Light (8) drücken.

Fehlerbehebung
Die Fernbedienung funktioniert nicht:
•Überprüfen Sie, ob die Batterien der Fernbedienung korrekt eingelegt sind
und die Polung +/– übereinstimmt.
•Überprüfen Sie, ob Ihre Geräte korrekt angeschlossen und eingeschaltet
sind.
•Falls die Batterien zu schwach sind, tauschen Sie diese durch neue aus.
•Es sind mehrere Gerätecodes unter dem Markennamen meines Geräts
aufgeführt. Wie ermittle ich den richtigen Gerätecode?
•Um den richtigen Gerätecode für Ihr Gerät zu bestimmen, probieren Sie
die Codes nacheinander aus, bis die meisten Funktionen des Gerätes
ordnungsgemäß funktionieren.
Die Geräte reagieren nur auf einige Befehle der Fernbedienung:
•Testen Sie weitere Codes, bis die Geräte auf die Befehle entsprechend
reagieren.
•Wenn die manuelle Codeeingabe und die automatische Codesuche nicht
zum Erfolg führen, kann es in besonderen Einzelfällen vorkommen, dass
das Gerät nicht kompatibel zu Ihrer Universal-Fernbedienung ist.

Nach dem Benutzen
Fernbedienung reinigen
•Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit einem trockenen oder leicht
feuchten, fusselfreien Tuch.
•Benutzen Sie keine ätzenden oder aggressiven Reinigungsmittel.
Fernbedienung außer Betrieb nehmen
Nehmen Sie die Fernbedienung außer Betrieb, wenn Sie diese für längere Zeit nicht
benutzen. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
•Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus der Fernbedienung.
•Lagern Sie die Batterien sicher.
•Lagern Sie die Fernbedienung an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Fernbedienung nicht Hitze-Einwirkungen wie
z.B. durch direkte Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt ist.
Fernbedienung entsorgen
Die umweltgerechte Entsorgung von Betriebsmitteln, Elektronik-
Baugruppen, wieder verwertbaren Werkstoffen und weiteren Geräte-
bestandteilen wird durch nationale und regionale Gesetze geregelt.
Wenden Sie sich an die zuständige lokale Behörde, um genaue
Informationen zur Entsorgung zu erhalten.
Batterien entsorgen
Werfen Sie leere Batterien keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Geben Sie verbrauchte Batterien bei einer Sammelstelle ab.

Inserting the batteries
Safety Precautions
Before using the remote control for the first time, please read these precautions
carefully.
Do not attempt to repair the remote control as there are no user-serviceable parts
inside.
The universal remote control has a class 1M infrared diode. Do not examine the laser
with optical instruments!
Do not subject your remote control to dust, strong sunlight, moisture, high
temperatures or strong vibrations.
Do not use any corrosive or aggressive cleaning products.

Misuse, change or repair of this product will void all warranty claims. Schwaiger
accepts no responsibility over incorrect use of the product or any use of the product
other than as described. Schwaiger accepts no responsibility for consequential
damages assumes no liability other than the legal product liability.
Batteries: Keep the batteries out of reach of children. Do not dispose of used batteries
in the household rubbish. Used batteries should be deposited at appropriate collection
points. Remove the batteries if the product is not to be used for a long period of time.
Never mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Take care on battery
insertion to align the polarity marks (+/-) as incorrect polarity can lead to explosion
hazard.
General
The Schwaiger UFB 106/16 is a 6 in 1 universal remote control and can operate the
following types of devices: TV, VCR, DVD (inc. DVD-R, DVR, etc.), Satellite, AMP and
AUX (inc. amplifier, tuner, etc.). You can program any device button to any device
type, except for the TV device button which can only be programmed to TV devices.
For example, under the VCR device button you can set a CD code and control your
CD player. You just need to find your appliance brand in the CD section of the code
book and enter the first 4 digit code under the VCR key
Please make a note of the programmed four-digit codes for your devices for future use
e.g. after battery change as your codes will not be saved.
For each device that you would like to operate using the universal remote control, you
must program a four-digit code to the respective device button (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT,
AMP, AUX).
Programming Device codes
DIRECT CODE ENTRY USING THE CODE LIST :
Example: setting to control a Panasonic television set:
•Turn on the appliance you wish to control, using its own power button. The
enclosed list gives, for example, the Panasonic Code 0152. Please make
sure you have selected the correct list for television sets (TV).
•Keep the SETUP button (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly.
•Then press the required appliance button, e.g. TV, and the number buttons
(e.g. 0 1 5 2) in sequence.
•Once the numbers have been entered the LED goes out and the remote
control is ready to control your appliance.
•Finally, test the remote setting by controlling (in this example) your
television set. If it does not work correctly, or at all, set a different code
from the list or use the code search (see below).
To set the remote control for other device, press another button, e.g. VCR, DVD, SAT,
CD, AUX instead of TV
CODE SEARCH
If the brand of your appliance is not listed or none of the codes given fits, we
recommend a code search.
As you can dedicate any device (TV, DVD, SAT...) to the VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP, AUX
buttons, you need first to enter any 4 digit code for the kind of appliance you wish to
control (found in the code book), i.e. if you want to program a SAT under the VCR key,
enter any SAT code available in the code book and then follow the steps below.
Slow Code Search
•Switch on the device to be controlled with its own Power button.
•Keep the SETUP button (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly.
•Press the required device button, e.g. DVD.
•Press the POWER (1) or CHAN+ button (21) repeatedly until the device,
e.g. your DVD player, reacts. Each time a button is pressed the LED goes
out briefly then comes back on to confirm. If no button is pressed, the
UFB106/16 automatically continues to search by sending a signal to your
device once every 3 seconds.
Note with video recorders, etc. you can also press the PLAY button (16) repeatedly. If
you want to search with PLAY, place a cassette or disk in your device before
searching.
•When your device reacts, simply press OK (23) to confirm the code and
stop the search.

If you notice the reaction of your device too late and the next code has already been
emitted you can go back by pressing CHAN- (21). If your device was switched off, you
must turn it on again. Turn your device on pressing its own “Power” button, or with its
original remote control, to continue the search.
•To test whether the right setting has been found, simply press a few
buttons on the UFB106/16 and check whether the functions work correctly.
If everything is OK you can now set the UFB106/16 for the second device.
If nothing happens or some of the buttons do not work correctly you need
to continue to search for the correct setting. The UFB106/16 continues the
search at the point you stopped with the OK (23) button. When the end of
the code list is reached the search stops automatically and the remote
control blinks quickly several times. The code last confirmed prior to
searching remains stored.
Quick Code Search
Your remote control finds the correct settings almost automatically in seconds:
•Switch on the device to be controlled with its own Power button.
•Keep the SETUP button (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly.
•Press the required device button, e.g. DVD.
•Press the POWER (1) button once briefly.
The UFB106/16 automatically sends a different IR code once per second. When your
device reacts, immediately press the OK button (23) to confirm the code. We advise
you to place your finger over the OK button (23) so that you can react quickly enough.
Otherwise the UFB106/16 transmits the next signal before you have reacted.
Note: With very few devices the quick search does not work. The search is
automatically stopped if there is no reaction from the device to be controlled. You
should then use a different setting procedure, e.g. code entry or slow search.
Instead of pressing OK and missing the correct code you can also switch the
UFB106/16 to slow code search by pressing the CHAN+ (21) or POWER (1) button.
Remember to switch on your device again, e.g. DVD, if you wish to continue the
search.
•Finally, test the set code by controlling e.g. your DVD device. If it does not
work correctly, please start the code search again. The code search then
starts with the next code in the sequence.
Searching by Brand
You can considerably speed up the code search if you search by brand. This is done
as follows:
•Switch on the device to be controlled with its own Power button.
•Keep the SETUP button (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly.
•Press the required device button, e.g. TV.
•Press the brand number button

•Press the POWER or CHAN+ buttons and continue as described in Slow
Code Search above.
Code Identification
You can identify the codes found at any time:
•Keep the SETUP button (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly.
•Press the required device button, e.g. DVD.
•Press the SETUP button (4) again briefly.
•To identify the 4-digit code, press the number buttons, 0-9, one after the
other. The thousand figure is displayed when the light goes out briefly
when a button is pressed. The number corresponds to the button number.
The hundred figure is displayed when the light goes out briefly when a
button is pressed a second time. The number corresponds to the button
number. The ten figure is displayed when the light goes out briefly when a
button is pressed a third time. The number corresponds to the button
number. The one figure is displayed when the light goes out when a button
is pressed a fourth time. The number corresponds to the button number.

Example: You want to read off the code under the TV button. To do so,
keep SETUP (4) pressed until the LED lights constantly. Then press TV,
SETUP, 0 in succession. For button 0 the light goes out briefly and you
note 0. Then continue by pressing 0,1. For button 1 the light goes out
briefly and you note 1 after the 0. Then continue by pressing 0,1,2,3,4,5.
For button 5 the light goes out briefly and you write 5 after 01. Then
continue by pressing 0,1,2. For button 2 the light goes out completely and
you note the 2. After 015 and have found the code 0152.
•You can note the numbers on the back of the battery compartment door,
e.g. for quick code entry after replacing the batteries.
NORMAL REMOTE OPERATION
The basic functions of your appliances are operated in the same way as if you were
using the original remote controls. It is possible not every function of your original
remote control, particularly newer devices is available on the universal remote control.
Select the device to be controlled using the device buttons TV, VCR, etc. When a
button is pressed, the LED lights up.
Power On/Off
The Power On/Off is the central key on the top row of buttons. Note some devices e.g.
TVs require a numeric button (0-9) to be pressed for power on.
Volume and Channel Control
In the remote central area are found the buttons for volume control (VOL- = quieter,
Mute on/off, VOL+ = louder) and for switching channels (CHAN+ = next channel and
CHAN- = previous channel).
VOLUME PUNCH-THROUGH FUNCTIONS
Your UFB106/16 remote lets you select which device Mode controls your volume/mute
buttons. The volume buttons VOL+, VOL- and Mute can be set for individual control
by EACH device Mode or can be set for ALL device Modes to punch-through volume
control to one specific single device Mode. The remote is initially set (Factory Default)
for control by each specific device Mode.
Adjustment of ALL volume controls under a specific mode
You can allocate the volume control to one of the modes of the remote control on
condition that the volume control exists on the corresponding device (e.g. control of TV
sound in VCR, DVD, etc... mode).
•Hold down the SETUP key until the LED remains lit.
•Release the SETUP key.
•Press and hold the MUTE button until the LED flashes once, then release
the MUTE button.
•Press the required device button, e.g. TV, corresponding to the device that
will control the VOL and MUTE buttons for ALL the device Modes.
•Press and release the MUTE key and the LED turns off.
Adjustment of the volume controls for EACH mode
You can set the volume control to be individually functional for each mode selected on
condition that the volume control exists on the corresponding device (e.g. control of
the television set sound in TV mode, the control of the sound of the SAT receiver in
SAT mode, ...).
•Hold down the SETUP key until the LED remains lit.
•Release the SETUP key.
•Press and hold the MUTE button until the LED flashes once, then release
the MUTE button.
•Press the required device button, e.g. DVD, corresponding to the device
that will control its own VOL and MUTE buttons.
•Press and release the VOL - key once.
•Press and release the MUTE key once and the LED turns off.
Second level keys
By pressing the button SETUP followed by any other button allows access to any
second level function for that button. Not all buttons have second level functions.
Button Backlighting
If you have purchased UFB116, this remote offers a button backlighting feature. Press
and release the Light button to turn the button backlighting feature on or off. When
backlighting feature is off, it can only be turned again by pressing the Light button.
When the backlight feature is turned on, pressing any button will turn the button
backlighting on for five seconds.

Troubleshooting
The remote control does not work:
•Check that your equipment is turned on and operating correctly.
•Check batteries are fitted in the remote control and are correct for battery
polarity +/- orientation.
•If the batteries are weak, replace them with new ones.
•Try another device code for your equipment.
•There may be several device codes available for the brand of your unit.
Please try each device code in succession with your equipment, to select
the one that operates most of the functions of the equipment properly.

les piles lorsque la télécommande ne doit pas être utilisée pendant une longue

Généralité
Cette télécommande Schwaiger 6 UFB 106/116 est une télécommande universelle
6en1 qui permet de contrôler 6 appareils différents: TV, SATellite, , DVD. (Enregistreur
et/ou lecteur DVD), VCR (magnétoscope), AMPlificateur, AUX (incluant CD, Tuner,
etc.).
vous pouvez régler uniquement des téléviseurs avec la touche TV, mais régler
n’importe quel autre appareil en utilisant les autres touches d’appareil. Les inscriptions
sur les touches SAT, DVD (lecteur/enregistreur DVD), VCR etc,. n’ont qu’un caractère
indicatif. Par exemple: avec la touche VCR, vous pouvez entrer un code DVD et
commander votre lecteur DVD. Pour cela, vous devez d’abord entrer le code à 4
chiffres (trouvé dans le livre de code) de l’appareil que vous voulez commander:
Pour un usage ultérieur (si les codes ont été perdu après un changement de piles par
exemple), veuillez, s'il vous plait, noter les codes à 4 chiffres que vous avez
programmé pour vos équipements.
Pour chaque appareil que vous désirez commander avec cette télécommande, vous
devez programmer un code à 4 chiffres sous chacune des touches de mode
correspondantes (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP, AUX).
Programmation des codes
Saisie manuelle des codes à l’aide de la liste
Exemple : programmation de la télécommande pour un téléviseur Panasonic :
•Allumez préalablement l’appareil à télécommander au moyen de son
bouton power. Dans la liste jointe, prenez par exemple le code Panasonic
0152.Assurez-vous que vous avez bien choisi la liste correspondant aux
téléviseurs (TV).
•Appuyez sur la touche SETUP (programmation) jusqu’à ce que le petit
voyant lumineux (diode) reste allumé en permanence.
•Appuyez ensuite sur la touche de l’appareil souhaité, par ex. TV, puis sur
les touches numériques (0 1 5 2, par ex.) correspondant au code TV.
•Une fois les chiffres entrés, le voyant s’éteint et la télécommande est prête
à fonctionner.
•Pour finir, testez le code que vous venez de saisir en essayant de
commander votre appareil (dans le cas présent, la TV). Si la commande
fonctionne mal ou pas du tout, passez au code suivant de la liste ou
effectuez une recherche de code (voir ci-dessous).
•Pour régler la télécommande pour d’autres appareils, à la place de TV
appuyez sur une autre touche de mode, par ex. VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP,
AUX..
Recherche de code
Au cas où la marque de votre appareil ne figurerait pas dans la liste, ou si aucun code
listé ne fonctionnait, vous devriez effectuer une recherche de code.
Vous pouvez commander un appareil de n’importe quel type (TV, DVD, SAT...) à
partir des touches VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP et AUX: entrez d’abord le code d’un
appareil similaire à celui que vous souhaitez commander; par ex: si vous souhaitez
programmer un SAT sous la touche VCR, entrez le code d’un satellite selon la
procédure décrite précedement, puis suivez la procédure ci-dessous:
Recherche de code lente
•Allumez l’appareil à commander avec son propre bouton on/off.
•Appuyer sur la touche de programmation SETUP jusqu’à ce que le voyant
lumineux reste allumé en permanence.
•Appuyer sur la touche de l’appareil souhaité, par ex. DVD.
•Appuyer plusieurs fois sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT (marche/arrêt
appareil) ou sur CHAN+ (chaîne suivante) jusqu’à ce que l’appareil (votre
lecteur DVD, par ex.), réagisse.

A chaque fois que vous pressez une touche, le témoin lumineux s’éteint brièvement et
se rallume pour confirmation.
Si vous n’appuyez sur aucune touche, l'UFB 106/116 va poursuivre automatiquement
sa recherche en envoyant toutes les 3 secondes un signal à votre appareil.
N.B.: Pour les magnétoscopes, etc., vous pouvez également appuyer plusieurs fois
sur la touche PLAY (lecture). Si vous désirez effectuer la recherche avec PLAY,
veuillez introduire une cassette ou un disque dans votre appareil avant de commencer
la recherche
•Dès que votre appareil réagit, il vous suffit d’appuyer sur la touche OK
pour arrêter la recherche.
Si vous avez remarqué trop tard que votre appareil avait réagi et si le code suivant a
déjà été envoyé, cela ne fait rien : vous pouvez revenir en arrière en appuyant sur
CHAN- . Si votre appareil s’est éteint, vous devez le rallumer à partir de son propre
bouton power ou avec sa télécommande d’origine pour pouvoir continuer la recherche
•Pour vérifier que la programmation est correcte, appuyez sur diverses
touches de votre UFB 106/116 et assurez-vous que votre appareil
fonctionne correctement. Si tout est en ordre, vous pouvez alors
programmer l'UFB 106/116 pour l’appareil suivant.
- Si rien ne fonctionne, ou si certaines touches ne fonctionnent pas
correctement, vous devez continuez la recherche.
•L'UFB 106/116 reprend la recherche là où vous l'aviez interrompue en
appuyant sur OK. La recherche s'arrête automatiquement lorsque la fin de
la liste des codes est atteinte. La télécommande clignote alors plusieurs
fois à un rythme rapide. Le dernier code confirmé par OK reste mémorisé.
Recherche de code accélérée
Votre télécommande trouve ici en quelques secondes, et presque automatiquement,
le code de commande adéquat :
•Allumez l’appareil à commander au moyen de son propre bouton power.
•Appuyer sur la touche SETUP (programmation) jusqu’à ce que le voyant
lumineux reste allumé en permanence.
•Appuyer sur la touche d’appareil souhaitée, DVD par exemple.
•Appuyer brièvement et une seule fois sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT
(marche/arrêt appareil).
l´UFB 106/116 envoie alors toutes les secondes un code à chaque fois différent. Si
votre appareil réagit, appuyez immédiatement sur la touche OK pour confirmer le code
transmis. – Nous vous conseillons de placer à l’avance un doigt sur la touche OK afin
de réagir suffisamment vite, sinon l'UFB 106/116 transmettra le code suivant avant
que vous n'ayez réagi.
N.B. : Sur certains appareils, très peu nombreux, la recherche accélérée ne
fonctionne pas. La recherche s'arrête automatiquement sans que l'appareil à
commander n’ait réagi. Utilisez dans ce cas un autre procédé de programmation
comme la saisie manuelle de code ou la recherche lente. Au lieu d’appuyer sur OK et
de manquer éventuellement le code adéquat, vous pouvez également commuter
l'UFB 106/116 sur la recherche de code lente : Au lieu d’appuyer sur la touche OK,
pressez la touche CHAN+ ou MARCHE/ ARRÊT.
Si vous désirez poursuivre la recherche, n'oubliez pas de rallumer éventuellement
votre appareil, par exemple votre appareil DVD.
Pour finir, testez le code mémorisé en essayant par exemple de commander votre
appareil DVD. Si cela ne fonctionne pas correctement, veuillez reprendre la recherche
accélérée. La recherche reprend alors avec le code qui suit.
Recherche par marques
Vous pouvez accélérer considérablement la recherche de code en faisant effectuer la
recherche selon la marque de votre appareil.
Procédez ainsi :
•Allumez l’appareil à commander au moyen de son propre bouton power.
•Appuyer sur la touche SETUP (programmation) jusqu’à ce que le voyant
lumineux reste allumé en permanence.
•Appuyer sur la touche d’appareil souhaitée, TV par exemple.
•Appuyer sur la touche numérique de marque, touche 1 pour les appareils
Philips, touche 2 pour Sony, touche 3 pour Thomson, touche 4 pour
Telefunken, 5 pour Grundig ou touche 6 pour Nokia.
•Appuyer sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT (marche/arrêt apparel)l ou la
touche CHAN+ et continuez comme décrit plus haut dans Recherche de
codes lente.

Identification des codes
Vous pouvez consulter à tout instant les codes mémorisés :
•Appuyer sur la touche SETUP (programmation) jusqu’à ce que le voyant
lumineux reste allumé en permanence.
•Appuyer sur la touche d’appareil souhaitée, DVD par exemple.
•Appuyer brièvement de nouveau sur la touche SETUP (programmation).
•Procéder ensuite à la lecture du code à 4 chiffres : Appuyez sur les
touches numériques de 0 à 9, l’une après l’autre, jusqu’à ce que le voyant
s’éteigne. La dernière touche que vous avez pressée correspond au chiffre
des milliers du code mémorisé. Ré-appuyez sur chaque touche de 0 à 9,
comme indiqué ci-dessus, pour identifier le chiffre des centaines. Ré-
appuyez sur chaque touche de 0 à 9, comme indiqué ci-dessus, pour
identifier le chiffre des dizaines. Appuyez sur chaque touche de 0 à 9,
comme indiqué ci-dessus, pour identifier chiffre des unités. Quand celui-ci
est trouvé, le voyant s’éteint.
Exemple : Vous souhaitez connaître le code mémorisé sous la touche TV. Appuyez
pour cela sur SETUP jusqu’à ce le voyant reste allumé. Appuyez ensuite
successivement sur les touches TV, SETUP, 0. Lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche
0, le voyant s’éteint brièvement : notez alors le chiffre 0. Appuyez sur 0, 1. A la touche
1, le voyant s’éteint brièvement et vous notez le chiffre 1 après le chiffre 0. Appuyez
sur 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. A la touche 5, le voyant s’éteint brièvement et vous notez le chiffre
5 après le chiffre 1. Appuyez sur 0, 1, 2. A la touche 2, le voyant s’éteint définitivement
et vous notez 2 après 015 ; vous avez identifié le code, qui est bien 0152.
•Notez les codes identifiés au dos du compartiment des piles, pour les
saisir rapidement en cas de changement de piles par exemple
Fonctionnement
Vous commandez les fonctions de base de vos appareils pratiquement de la même
manière qu'avec leur télécommande d’origine. Il se peut que quelques fonctions se
trouvant sur votre télécommande originale ne soient pas disponibles sur votre
télécommande universelle.
Sélectionnez l’appareil à télécommander au moyen des touches de mode TV, VCR,
etc. Lorsque vous pressez l’une de ces touches, le voyant lumineux s'allume.
MARCHE/ARRÊT
La touche Marche/Arrêt se trouve au milieu de la première rangée. N.B: quelques
appareils, comme par exemple certaines TV s'allume en appuyant sur une des
touches numériques (0-9).
Volume et commande de programmes
Dans la zone centrale de la télécommande figurent les touches servant à régler le
niveau sonore ((VOL- = vol. plus faible, Sourdine Marche/Arrêt, VOL+ = volume plus
fort) et pour la sélection des programmes (CHAN+ = chaîne suivante et CHAN- =
chaîne précédente).
Fonction Punch-Through pour le Volume
Les touches VOL+, VOL-et la touche de sourdine peuvent être réglées pour contrôler
un mode spécifique ou chaque mode.
Réglage de TOUTES les commandes de volume sous un mode spécifique
Vous pouvez affecter le contrôle du volume sonore à un des modes de la
télécommande à condition que le contrôle du volume sonore existe sur l’appareil
correspondant (ex : contrôle du son TV en mode TV, VCR, DVD, etc…).
•Appuyez sur la touche SETUP jusqu'à ce que le voyant rouge reste
allumé.
•Relâchez la touche SETUP.
•Appuyez sur la touche sourdine jusqu'à ce que le voyant rouge clignote
une fois.
•Appuyez une fois sur la touche de mode (TV, VCR,…) correspondant à
l’appareil dont le volume sera toujours commandé par les touches VOL et
sourdine quelque soit le mode sélectionné.
•Appuyez une fois sur la touche sourdine, le voyant rouge s'éteint.

Réglage des commandes de volume pour CHAQUE mode
Vous pouvez décider que le contrôle du volume soit fonctionnel pour chaque mode
choisi à condition que le contrôle du volume existe sur l’appareil correspondant (ex :
commande du son du téléviseur en mode TV, puis commande du son d’un récepteur
SAT en mode SAT, …).
1. Appuyez sur la touche SETUP jusqu'à ce que le voyant rouge reste
allumé.
2. Relâchez la touche SETUP.
3. Appuyez sur la touche sourdine jusqu'à ce que le voyant rouge clignote
une fois.
4. Appuyez une fois sur la touche de mode (TV, VCR, …) correspondant à
l’appareil dont le volume sera toujours commandé par les touches VOL et
sourdine.
5. Appuyez une fois sur la touche VOL-.
6. Appuyez une fois sur la touche sourdine, le voyant rouge s'éteint.
2e niveau de commande :
En appuyant brièvement sur le bouton SETUP suivit par n'importe quelle autre touche,
vous accédez au 2ème niveau de commande pour cette touche. Toutes les touches ne
possèdent pas un 2ème niveau de commande.
Bouton de rétro-éclairage des touches
Si vous avez achetez la télécommande UFB116, une touche vous permet d'actionner
ou d'arrêter la fonction rétro-éclairage des touches. Appuyez et relâchez la touche
Light pour allumer ou éteindre la fonction rétro-éclairage des touches. Quand la
fonction retro-éclairage est arrêtée, elle ne peut être remis en marche qu'en appuyant
sur la touche Light. Quand le rétro-éclairage est en marche, appuyer sur n'importe
quelle touche permet d'allumer le rétro-éclairage pour 5s.
Pannes et problèmes de fonctionnement
La Télécommande ne marche pas
•Vérifiez avec la télécommande d’origine que l’équipement est allumé et
fonctionne correctement
•Vérifiez la polarité de vos piles (indications +/-) et qu’elles soient
correctement insérées dans le compartiment (voir le contact des piles sur
les ressorts logés dans le compartiment).
•Si les piles sont déchargées, remplacez les par des neuves.
•Vérifiez que vous avez tout d’abord appuyé sur la touche
correspondant au mode (téléviseur TV, magnétoscope VCR, satellite
SAT, etc.) de l’équipement que vous désirez commander
•Si le code de la liste que vous avez entré ne fonctionne pas, essayez le
code suivant, ou bien utilisez la recherche automatique AUTOSEARCH, il
peut exister plusieurs code pour la marque de votre appareil, essayez les
tous et sélectionnez celui possédant le plus de fonction.

Informazioni generali
Questo Telecomando Schwaiger UFB 106/116 è un Telecomando universale 6in1 che
può comandare fino ad un massimo di 6 apparecchi: TV (televisore), SAT (satellite /
cavo), DVD (lettore DVD), VCR (videoregistratore), AMP (amplificatore), AUX
(apparecchio di vostra scelta, es.: secondo televisore o lettore DVD, ecc.).
Ad eccezione del tasto TV, ogni tasto di modalità (DVD, VCR, ...) è programmabile per
comandare un apparecchio diverso da quello indicato sul tasto. È quindi possibile
attribuire, ad esempio, la modalità DVD al tasto VCR. Dovrete inserire il codice
corrispondente alla marca e all’apparecchio desiderato, seguendo uno dei metodi
indicati in questo libretto.
Quando avrete trovato il codice del vostro apparecchio, annotatelo per potervi fare
facilmente riferimento in caso di necessità (se i codici sono stati persi dopo un
cambiamento di pile ad esempio).
Prima di poter comandare un apparecchio, è necessario programmare il telecomando
per l'apparecchio in questione
Programmazione del telecomando
Inserimento diretto di un codice di comando preso dalla
lista di codici
Esempio: regolazione del telecomando per un televisore Panasonic.
•Accendere l'apparecchio che si desidera comandare. Il codice Panasonic
sulla lista dei codici è ad es. 0152.Accertarsi che si stia consultando
l'elenco giusto per televisori (TV).
•Quale preliminare all'inserimento del codice, premere il tasto SETUP
(regolazione) finché la spia (LED) si accende e resta accesa.
•In seguito, premere il tasto di apparecchio desiderato, ad es. TV, e poi,
consecutivamente, i tasti numerici (ad es. 0 1 5 2).
•Una volta inserite le cifre, il LED si spegne e il telecomando è pronto per il
comando dell'apparecchio.
•In seguito, provare il codice di comando regolato cercando di comandare,
nel caso presente, il televisore. Se non succede nulla, o se non accade
quanto dovrebbe accadere, tentare con un nuovo codice preso dalla lista
di codici oppure servirsi della funzione di ricerca del codice (v. sotto).
Per il comando di altri apparecchi, al posto del tasto di apparecchio TV, premere un
altro tasto (ad es. VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP, AUX)
Ricerca del codice
Si raccomanda l'utilizzazione della funzione di ricerca del codice qualora l'elenco dei
codici non comprendesse un apparecchio, o se il codice specificato non funziona.
E' possibile comandare un apparecchio di qualsiasi tipo (TV, DVD, SAT...) con i tasti
VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP e AUX; per questo bisogna prima inserire il codice a 4 cifre
(trovato nella lista dei codici) dell'apparecchio che si desidera comandare. Ad
esempio, se desiderate programmare un SAT con il tasto VCR, inserite prima il codice
di un satellite di qualsiasi marca, seguendo la procedura descritta prima, poi seguire la
sequenza seguente :
Ricerca lenta del codice
•Accendere l'apparecchio che si desidera comandare.
•Premere il tasto SETUP (regolazione) finché la spia si accende e resta
accesa.
•Premere il tasto di apparecchio desiderato ad es. DVD.

•Premere una volta brevemente il tasto ON/OFF (apparecchio ON/OFF) o
CHAN+ (programma seguente).
•Premere di nuovo il tasto ON/OFF (apparecchio ON/OFF) o CHAN+
(programma seguente) finché l'apparecchio (nell'esempio dato il lettore
DVD) reagisce.
Ogni qualvolta un tasto viene premuto, la spia si spegne e si riaccende
subito dopo per convalidare.
Se nessun tasto viene premuto, UFB 106/116 prosegue la ricerca
automaticamente e trasmette ogni 3 secondi un segnale all'apparecchio.
Avvertenza: Quanto ai videoregistratori ecc., è anche possibile premere il
tasto PLAY (lettura). Se si desidera avviare la ricerca con PLAY, inserire
prima una cassetta o un disco nell'apparecchio.
•Quando l'apparecchio reagisce, basta premere il tasto OK per terminare
la ricerca.
Non fa nulla se quando ci si accorge che l'apparecchio ha reagito, il codice successivo
è già stato trasmesso: è possibile infatti tornare indietro premendo CHAN-. Se nel
frattempo l'apparecchio si è spento, per proseguire la ricerca sarà necessario
riaccenderlo, agendo ad es. sull'apparecchio o sul telecomando originale.
•Per appurare se la regolazione eseguita automaticamente è anche quella
giusta, premere un paio di tasti sul telecomando UFB 106/116. Se tutto
funziona correttamente, è possibile ora programmare UFB 106/116 per un
altro apparecchio.
•Se invece non funziona nulla o alcuni tasti non funzionano bene, si dovrà
proseguire la ricerca del codice giusto.
UFB 106/116 continua la ricerca là dove era stata interrotta premendo. La
ricerca termina automaticamente con il raggiungimento della fine
dell'elenco dei codici. Il telecomando lampeggia allora rapidamente più
volte di seguito. Il codice convalidato per ultimo con OK resta
memorizzato.
Ricerca veloce del codice
Il telecomando eseguirà nel giro di pochi secondi, quasi automaticamente, le
regolazioni giuste:
•Accendere l'apparecchio che si desidera comandare.
•Premere il tasto SETUP (regolazione) finché la spia si accende e resta
accesa.
•Premere il tasto di apparecchio desiderato ad es. DVD.
•Premere una volta brevemente il tasto ON/OFF (apparecchio ON/OFF) o
CHAN+ (programma seguente).
UFB 106/116 emette ogni secondo un altro segnale. Quando l'apparecchio reagisce,
premere immediatamente il tasto OK per convalidare il codice di comando
funzionante. Si consiglia di avere già prima il dito sul tasto OK, per reagire con la
rapidità necessaria prima che UFB 106/116 possa trasmettere il segnale successivo.
Avvertenza: la ricerca veloce potrebbe non funzionare nel caso di alcuni apparecchi.
La ricerca si interromperà allora automaticamente benché l'apparecchio che si
desidera comandare non abbia reagito. In tal caso ricorrere ad un'altra procedura di
regolazione, ad es. l'inserimento manuale del codice oppure la ricerca lenta.
Invece di premere OK,e perdere così eventualmente la regolazione giusta, c'è anche
la possibilità di attivare la funzione di ricerca lenta del codice, premendo, al posto del
tasto OK, i tasti CHAN+ oON/OFF.
Non si dimentichi di riaccendere l'apparecchio (agendo sull'interruttore
dell'apparecchio), ad es. il lettore DVD, se si desidera proseguire la ricerca.
•In seguito, provare il codice di comando regolato cercando di comandare il
lettore DVD. Se non funziona correttamente, riavviare la ricerca del codice.
La ricerca partirà dal codice successivo.
Ricerca limitata a una marca
E' possibile velocizzare sensibilmente la ricerca del codice orientandola verso una
marca determinata. Procedere come segue:
•Accendere l'apparecchio che si desidera comandare.
•Premere il tasto SETUP (regolazione) finché la spia si accende e resta
accesa.
•Premere il tasto di apparecchio desiderato, ad es. TV.
•Premere un tasto numerico associato a una marca: tasto 1 per gli
apparecchi della Philips, 2 per Sony, 3 per Thomson, 4 per Telefunken, 5
per Grundig o 6 per Nokia.
•Premere una volta brevemente il tasto ON/OFF (apparecchio ON/OFF) o
CHAN+ (programma seguente), e Continuare poi come descritto sopra
(Ricerca lenta del codice).

Identificazione del codice
E' possibile in qualsiasi momento sapere qual è il codice regolato:
•Premere il tasto SETUP (regolazione) finché la spia si accende e resta
accesa.
•Premere un tasto di apparecchio, ad es. DVD.
•Premere una volta brevemente il tasto SETUP (regolazione).
•In seguito, per conoscere il codice a 4 cifre: premere i tasti numerici da 0 a
9 consecutivamente.
Un breve spegnimento della spia al premere di un tasto numerico indica la cifra delle
migliaia. La cifra corrisponde al numero del tasto premuto. Un secondo breve
spegnimento della spia al premere di un tasto numerico indica la cifra delle centinaia.
La cifra corrisponde al numero del tasto premuto. Un terzo breve spegnimento della
spia al premere di un tasto numerico indica la cifra delle decine. La cifra corrisponde al
numero del tasto premuto. Lo spegnimento della spia al premere di un tasto numerico
indica la cifra delle unità. La cifra corrisponde al numero del tasto premuto.
Esempio: si desidera conoscere il codice assegnato al tasto TV. Premere a tale scopo
il tasto SETUP finché un tasto di apparecchio si accende e resta acceso. In seguito,
premere consecutivamente TV, SETUP, 0. Al premere del tasto 0, la spia si spegne
brevemente; annotarsi allora "0". Continuare premendo 0, 1. Al premere del tasto 1, la
spia si spegne brevemente; annotare allora "1" a fianco di "0". Continuare premendo
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Al premere del tasto 5, la spia si spegne brevemente; annotare allora
"5" a fianco di "01". Poi continuare premendo 0, 1, 2. Al premere del tasto 2, la spia si
spegne definitivamente. Aggiungere dunque "2" a "015" ottenendo così "0152", cioè il
codice.
I valori così trovati possono essere annotati ad es. sul dorso del vano batterie, per
velocizzare il reinserimento del codice ad es. dopo una sostituzione di batterie.

Comando
Dopo avere eseguito la programmazione del proprio telecomando per gli apparecchi
audio/video, il telecomando lavora nelle funzioni principali più comuni come il
telecomando originale del relativo apparecchio.
Può accadere che non tutte le funzioni del proprio telecomando originale siano
direttamente disponibili sul telecomando universale.
Selezione apparecchio
I tasti di apparecchio, TV, VCR ecc., permettono la selezione dell'apparecchio da
comandare. Premendo un tasto, la spia si accenderà subito dopo.
Marcia/Veglia (ON / OFF)
Il tasto Power (Marcia/Veglia) si trova in mezzo della prima fila dei tasti. N.B: Qualche
apparecchi, come ad esempio alcune TV si accendono premendo su una dei tasti
numerati (0-9).
Volume e comando di programmi
La zona centrale del telecomando comprende di solito i tasti per regolare il volume
(VOL- = più basso, MUTE ON/OFF, VOL+ = più alto) e per cambiare programma
(CHAN+ = canale seguente e CHAN- = canale precedente).
Funzione "Volume Punch Through"
I tasti di regolazione del volume (VOL+ e VOL-) ed il tasto MUTE possono essere
regolati per controllare un modo specifico o ogni modo.
Regolazione di TUTTI i comandi di volume sotto un determinato modo
È possibile attribuire il controllo del volume sonoro ad uno dei modi del telecomando a
condizione che sull’apparecchio corrispondente esista il controllo del volume sonoro
(ad esempio: controllo del suono TV in modo TV, VCR, DVD, ecc...).
•Premere il tasto SETUP finché la spia si accende e resta accesa.
•Rilasciare il tasto SETUP.
•Premere il tasto MUTE finché la spia lampeggia una volta.
•Premere una volta il tasto di modo (TV, VCR, DVD…) corrispondente
all’apparecchio di cui si vuole che il volume sia sempre comandato dai
tasti VOL e MUTE.
•Premere una volta il tasto MUTE, la spia si estingue
