Operation Manual for Model: SUP-20S
Congratulations on your purchase of this SUP-20S 12V Electric Air Pump. This intelligent DC electric pump
comes with digital control and LCD screen to display the set pressure and real-time air pressure. The pump can automatically
stop at your preset air pressure, so you will never over-inflate the chamber. Thanks to the intelligent control system and its new
design power unit. This air pump is great to use with your inflatable tent, paddle board and SUP. This long lasting quality air
pump can support up to 20PSI. Please take a few minutes to read this instruction and become familiar with its
operation.

Important Notice
To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed.
To avoid possible electrical shock or fire, special care should be taken when using near the gas, fuel or
metal. Do not use the pump closed to fuel tank, gas tank or an open flame.
Keep the pump away from Children. Store the pump in a dry and cool area away from water and heat.
Do not continue operating the pump for more than 20 minutes. Pump should automatically shut off to cool
itself down when it reaches the 20 minutes continuous operation limit. We suggest user let the pump cool
down for 30 minutes before next use. Otherwise, the pump may automatically stop again to protect its
internal components to avoid overheating issue.
You may need to know:
Pump’s Max Pressure can reach 20 PSI (1.378 Bar /138 Kilo-Pascal). The pressure setting can be saved in
the pump memory when power is disconnected. Please make sure to recheck the pump pressure setting
before every use.
Before connecting the pump to a battery, please make sure the battery voltage is 12V. The max loading of
power source can support a 10A current. The pump requires a minimum 12V/5AH battery to operate
properly.
Always check the air hose, valve connector, and your inflatable product condition before using the pump.
You can connect the pump to a car cigarette lighter port or boat 12V DC socket. If you use a portable
battery, please make sure the battery is fully charged before your trip.
This pump may make some loud sound because of the high pressure dual cylinders pumping unit. This is
normal since the pump is not powered by a high volume turbo fan.
If you wanted to return the pump, you should first contact with Seamax Marine or the authorized dealer
that you purchase it from. Repairs can be performed only by an authorized service technician. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused as a result of improper use or failure to observe
these instructions.
The pump’s main 12V DC power connector (Cigarette Lighter
connector) has a built-in 10A fuse. Unscrewing the head
connector bolt allow you to access this fuse if exchange
needed. If the pump is connected to a good power source but
cannot be turned on, please check this fuse first. Make sure
you do not lose the fuse spring. The spring is similar to the one
inside a retractable ball pen.
First time use:
You can use your original valve adapter instead of the one included in the pump package if the original one
may provide better inflating experience.
Test Run is necessary before using the pump. You can stop the pump any time by pressing its power button.
Do not leave the pump running unattended even considering its auto stop feature!

Do not use it for more than 20 minutes continuously. That means one SUP or Paddle Boat at a time.
Excessive usage may cause overheating and damage the inflator and not covered by our limited warranty.
Using smaller valve fittings limits the airflow speed.As a result, the pump could be easier to get
overheated. Your attention is very important in those cases, and the pump 20 minutes continuous working
time must be reduced accordingly.
Low quality power source will slow down the pump running. It will cause the pump to be overheated
quickly and damage the pump components easily. We do not suggest operating the pump with low capacity
battery or in a battery low status.
If the hose (pump side) temperature is over 60ºC (92ºF), please stop using the pump and let it cool down.
If the environment temperature is too high, the max pump continuous working time should be reduced.

Inflation Operation
Connect the hose end with Flexible
conduit adapter to the air pump
inflation outlet (1), and twist clockwise
to tighten it, as Figure 1. Install the
supported valve adapter to the other
end of the hose, (step①in Figure 2),
twist clockwise to tighten it, and then
connect this end to the chamber
(step②in Figure 2).
After connecting the power, the pump will be started, and LCD screen is on. Press the Pressure Unit toggle
button to select the unit you need. Use the Pressure Increase button or Pressure Decrease button
to set the pump working pressure. The range of pressure value is from 0 to 20PSI, (1PSI=0.0689BAR).
After finishing the above steps, press the power switch button to start.
During the pump inflating process, you better keep checking with the chamber. You can press or
to increase or reduce the set pressure value without stopping the pump. Use the unit switch button to
change the pressure reading, and press the On/Off button to stop the pump at any time.
When the pressure reaches the set value, the air pump will stop working automatically. After completing the
inflation, disconnect the pump power cord and store the pump in a safe place.
The factory preset pressure value of the air pump is 10PSI (10PSI=0.689BAR). If the preset pressure value is
changed, it will be stored in the pump memory as default value for next time use.
Warning
In order to reduce the risk of injury, please keep children away from the pump and battery. This product is
not applicable for the person with declining physical strength, sensory ability or mental capacity, the person
lack of skill and the mentally retarded person, unless they are under the protection of their guardians,
supervised and directed at the same time.
Before moving, maintaining, repairing or adjusting this product, please first disconnect the pump power
cord (connector) from the socket or battery.
If the power wire is damaged, the power wire must be changed by the manufacturer or its service agent or
the similar authorized personnel, in case of any risk. If you are standing in a place with water or your hands
are wet, please do not plug or pull the DC plug.
Before inflating, please pay attention to check the maximum bearable pressure of the inflatable product,
because the air chamber may be damaged upon exceeding the maximum bearable pressure.
Before using, please check the cigarette lighter socket to make sure that there is no rust or residue inside.
The cigarette lighter socket with poor electric conduction may cause overheating of the product or power
source, which will damage the product.
The purpose of using this product is limited to the description in the instruction manual.

Handling of Fault

Precautions
The applied power source must be the 12V DC power source (as Figure 3).
Do not block the air inlet (10) at the bottom of the air pump, and guarantee air inlet (10) to be always
unblocked.
Observe the local waste treatment provisions, and it is not allowed to throw the air pump away randomly.
Do not use this product when the hose is damaged, and please change the hose immediately.
Do not pull out the hose when inflating because that the high pressure may hurt the physical body.
Do not make the air pump work for more than 20 minutes because that motor overheating may cause
internal damage. And the air pump shall be fully cooled for 30 minutes after continuously working up to
15 minutes.
Please do not use this air pump if any parts are damaged, and please contact with the professional personnel
to repair it.
This product shall not be exposed to the rain or immersed in water. In order to prevent risk, the inflation inlet
shall not be pointed towards human face or body. Please do not leave the pump operating unattended.

Information of Valve Connection
This pump is suitable for the products equipped with the HR (Halkey-Roberts), Bravo or similar type air
valves. These popular types of air valves are well adapted by many inflatable SUP and paddle board
manufacturers in the market. These types of air valve has either a turning pin or pressing down pin in the
middle to control the valve’s OPEN or CLOSE position. The universal valve adapters supplied with the
pump can fit on it.
Please keep the inflatable item's air valve in its Closed Position when inflating the chamber. Otherwise, it
will lose air when the hose is disconnected.
This pump also comes with a few universal valve adapters. If you did not find a right valve adapter for
your inflatable product, please use the original valve adapter or contact the seller.

Pump Storage & Battery
Check the pressure setting before you remove or turn off the air pump. If you change the pressure setting,
the pump will remember this new setting for next time use.
Disconnect the pump power or turn off its power switch. Clean all the dirt from the pump. If the pump gets
wet, let it dry in the air before packing it into the carrying bag.
Best to store your pump in a temperature ranging 5 ºC -20ºC (37ºF - 52ºF),
For using a Lead Acid type 12V battery, you should fully charge your battery before storing. Leaving the
battery in a poorly charged or nearly empty state for extended periods of time (1 month or more) will
damage the battery or reduce the capacity in permanent. Your need to use a proper charger for your battery.
Two Years Limited Warranty
For recreational using, the electrical control boards, motor, charger are guaranteed for 2 years against
manufacturer defects. Air hose, valve adapters and carrying bag are guaranteed for 6 months.
The limited warranty for commercial use is up to six months from purchase date.
The limited warranty only covers the defective factory parts under normal operating conditions. You can
contact the seller to get authorization before return it. Dealer has the right to refuse a warranty claim if the
product shows excessive wear, abuse or misuse.
Seller will pay for the two way shipping costs if the warranty claim is within 60 days from the date of
purchase. Customer will pay for the one way shipping cost if the warranty claim is after 60 days and within
6 months from the date of purchase. Customer will pay for the two way shipping cost if the warranty claim
is over 180 days from the date of purchase.

Please keep your receipt and the labels on the pump for your warranty service. With reasonable charge, we
still offer all the pump repair service after its warranty period.
You may be allowed to open the air pump for doing parts replacement. But if you remote below Seller’s
Label from the air pump, your warranty will be voided.
