Sports Company. This manual contains important safety information, as
well as easy to follow instructions. Please read through carefully in order to
receive the maximum benefits from your new purchase.

Read these instructions. Keep them
though the life of your activetrax™.
Heed all warnings and follow all
instructions.
Do not expose activetrax™ to•
dripping or splashing liquid or
set objects filled with liquid on
activetrax™.
Protect cords or cables from•
being walked on or pinched;
particularly at plug-in points
and where they exit from the
apparatus.
Do not use during lightning•
storms..
!WARNING

There are no user serviceable parts inside
activetrax™. Refer all service problems to
a qualified service professional. Service is
required when activetrax™ is damaged in any
way, including being dropped in water, exposed
to extreme heat, had liquid spilled on it, been
dropped or had objects dropped on it, or in any
way does not operate as normal.
Do not use activetrax™ near water or•
extreme humidity.
Do not set near any heat sources such as•
radiators, heat registers, stoves, camp fires,
or other appartus that produce heat.Only
use attachments or accesories specified by
the manufacturer.
Avoid placing this unit in places exposed•
to heat radiating items (such as electric
heaters) or on top of other stereo equipment
that radiate heat. Avoid places lacking in
ventilation, areas that are dusty, locations
subject to constant vibration, or any places
with excessive humidity.
Operate as described in this manual.•
Upon completion of service or repair, ask the•
service tech to perform safety checks.
NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible
for any radio or TV interference caused by
unauthorized modifications to activetrax™.
Such modifications could void the user’s
authority to operate activetrax™.
If activetrax™ becomes dusty, wipe exterior•
with a soft dust cloth. Never use dusting
sprays or polishes.
If activetrax™ becomes dirty, wipe with a•
soft, cloth that is slightly damp with mild
soap and water. Never allow liquid to get
inside activetrax™.activetrax™ is designed
to operate on normal 120V 60Hz AC power.
Do not attempt to operate activetrax™ on
other power sources. Operating activetrax™
on other power sources may cause damage
and is not covered by your warranty.

Slide the Band Selector Switch to
the desired band. There should be
a noticable click with each band.
The center bump may not match up
with the text and should not be a
cause of concern.
Tune to your desired station by
rotating the tuning dial.
Adjust the volume control as
desired.
Turn radio on by rotating volume
control clockwise. There should be
a noticable click.
To turn off, simply rotate the
volume control counterclockwise
until the click is heard again.

activetrax™ receives continuous
U.S. Government weather
broadcasts from the National
Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA.) NOAA
sends out weather reports from
over 750 stations, covering all 50
states, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands,
and all U.S. Pacific Territories;
including coastal waters. These
broadcasts are transmitted on
seven bands from 162.400 MHz to
162.550 MHz.

Note: The NOAA weather band
frequency operates in a range that
is sometimes prone to interference
by more powerful TV broadcasts. To
receive a weather band broadcast
you may need to move the antenna
to minimize interference by TV
broadcasts in the same range. You
may also find it helpful to push
down the antenna to its closed
position.
National Weather broadcasts are
generally lower volume broadcasts.
You may need to adjust the volume
of activetrax™ to comfortably hear
weather band broadcasts.
The cord included with the
activetrax™ does not combine
the stereo sound to mono. Stereo
sound is combined to mono on the
circuit board.

activetrax™ has been tested
and found to comply with the
limits for a class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed
to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a
residential installation. activetrax™
generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy. If not used
in accordance with the instructions
it may cause harmful interference
to radio communications.
There is no guarantee that
interference will not occur.
If activetrax™ does cause
harmful interference to radio or
television reception (which can be
determined by turning it off and
on), you are encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:

Seattle Sports Company products
are guaranteed for workmanship
and materials for one year. Should
this product fail during its warranty
period, Seattle Sports will repair
or replace the product at their
discretion, after product inspection.
