innovatives Produkt erworben, das nach neuester
Technologie in Deutschland entwickelt und gefer-
tigt wird. Diese Elektroteppichbürste wurde auf
die speziellen Bedürfnisse Ihres Teppichbodens
angepasst.
Teppichböden erhalten nur dann ihr wertvolles
Aussehen und ihre hygienische Sauberkeit, wenn
diese regelmäßig beim Staubsaugen gebürstet
werden. Dazu sind Sie mit der SEBO Elektrotep-
pichbürste und dem SEBO Bodenstaubsauger
bestens ausgerüstet.

1. Sicherheitshinweise
Die Gebrauchsanweisung für den Staubsauger
und die Elektroteppichbürste bitte gründlich le-
sen. Wird das Gerät an Dritte weitergegeben,
muss unbedingt diese Gebrauchsanweisung mit
übergeben werden.
Die Benutzung der SEBO ET-1/ET-2 geschieht
auf eigene Verantwortung. Der Hersteller haftet
nicht für Schäden, die durch falsche Bedienung
oder nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch ver-
ursacht werden.
Bitte beachten Sie auch die Reinigungs- und
Pflegehinweise Ihres Bodenbelagherstel-
lers.
Nur die Verwendung von Originaltei-
len für dieses Produkt berechtigt zu
Garantie leistungen und gewährleistet die
Betriebsicherheit des Gerätes.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und
darüber und von Personen mit verringerten phy-
sischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen be-
nutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultieren-
den Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Be-

1. Safety Instructions
Please read the instruction manual carefully be-
fore using the vacuum cleaner and the power
head. Save these instructions. If you pass this
machine to a third party, please give them the in-
struction as well. The use of the power head is at
your own risk. The manufacturer/ supplier is not
liable for any injury or damage caused by incor-
rect usage of the machine.
Please check the cleaning and maintenance
instructions of your carpet manufacturer,
too.
The use of non-genuine parts will waive the
warranty for this product and could pose a
serious security risk.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they are given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children should not play with the appli-
ance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not
be done by children without strict supervision.
Please do not touch the brush when it is turning
as this will cause a risk of injury to the fingers.
Do not use on people or animals.
Do not expose to liquid, moisture or heat.
Do not use outdoors or on inappropriate surfac-
es, e.g. stone or concrete.

Mit eingeschaltetem Gerät nicht über die An-
schlussleitung fahren.
Ein Gerät mit Defekten nicht anschließen.
Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät:
Erst das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker
ziehen.
Reparaturen und Ersatzteileaustausch am
Staubsauger dürfen nur von Fachkräften
ausgeführt werden.
Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung beschädigt wird,
muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinem Kun-
dendienst oder von einer ähnlich qualifizierten
Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu ver-
meiden.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist die Elektroteppich-
bürste mit einem elektronischen Überlastungs-
schutz ausgestattet. Bei bestimmten Teppich-
qualitäten kann eine derart starke Bürstwirkung
eintreten, dass sie automatisch abschaltet. Sollte
dies der Fall sein: Gerät ausschalten, Netzstecker
ziehen und Bürste auf Verunreinigung prüfen.
Danach ist es ratsam, die Saugleistung zurück-
zunehmen bzw. den Stellknopf der Elektrotep-
pichbürste auf eine höhere Stufe (bis Stufe 4) zu
drehen.
Nach der Benutzung der Elektroteppichbürste
den Staubsauger ausschalten und den Netzste-
cker ziehen.
Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme
Das Gerät nur in Verbindung mit einem geeigne-
ten SEBO Staubsauger benutzen.
Nur gemäß der Anschlusswerte des Typenschil-
des anschließen und betreiben. Sowohl der Staub-
sauger als auch die Elektroteppichbürste müssen
für die gleiche Netzspannung ausgelegt sein.
Der Staubsauger muss bei Gebrauch eingeschal-
tet sein und genügend Luft ansaugen.
Do not use in the presence of flammable, explo-
sive or harmful materials and gases.
Do not expose to water.
Do not pick up liquid, sharp objects, hot material,
such as fire ash, or hazardous/ harmful dust.
Do not use with a damaged cable.
Do not run over the cable.
Do not use a damaged power head.
Always turn off and unplug the machine before
undertaking maintenance.
If a component is damaged, it must be re-
placed with a genuine SEBO part. All re-
pairs should be performed by an author-
ized SEBO service representative.
If the power supply cable is demaged, it must be
replaced by a SEBO service engineer, or other
qualified person to avoid the risk of injury.
If the machine shuts down, be sure to turn off the
machine and unplug it before troubleshooting.
For safety, the machine contains an electronic
overload protection. The power head* could shut
itself off if used on certain carpets. If that should
occur, turn off the machine, unplug it, and look
for a blockage. If there is no blockage, reduce the
load on the brush roller by adjusting the brush
height to a higher level (up to 4).
Always turn off and unplug the machine when it
is not in use.
Assembly advice
Use this power head only in combination with a
SEBO vacuum cleaner.
Connect only to outlets according to data shown
on data label.
Mains voltage for both machines must be the
same.
The vacuum cleaner must be switched on and
provide air-flow through the power brush.

4. Inbetriebnahme
A Für SEBO AIRBELT C3.1, K3, D4 und E3
Die Anschlussleitung (15) mit dem Stek-
ker(16) in die beiden Führungsnuten an der
Unterseite des Handgriffs einschieben und
den anderen Stecker (17) der Anschluss-
leitung (15) in die Kontaktaufnahme im
Schlauchkrümmer einstecken.
B Für SEBO AIRBELT C2 und C2.1
1. Raste (18) im Inneren des Anschlussstut-
zen (19) nach außen drücken und Ver-
schlusskappe (20) abziehen.
2. Kontaktring (21) auf den Anschlussstut-
zen (19) schieben bis er einrastet.
3. Stecker (16) der Anschlussleitung (22) in
die Aufnahmeschlitze am Griff stecken und
die Leitung mit Klammerbändern (23) am
Schlauch befestigen. Es ist wichtig, dass
zwischen den Klammerbändern die Leitung
in Schlaufen liegt. Während des Gebrauchs
ist darauf zu achten, dass die Leitung sich
nicht um den Schlauch wickelt.
C SEBO AIRBELT C2, C2.1, C3.1, K3, D4
und E3
Das Teleskoprohr vorsichtig auf das Gelenk
der SEBO ET stecken bis es hörbar einra-
stet.
Elektroschlauch nicht ins Wasser
tauchen oder mit Wasser reinigen.
Defekte Anschlussleitung durch
Fachhandel austauschen. Gerät mit
defekter Anschlussleitung nicht an-
schließen.
Hinweise zum Gebrauch
der Elektroteppichbürste.
Rotiert die Bürste längere Zeit auf einer
Stelle kann die Oberfläche des Bodenbe-
lags beschädigt werden.
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass Teppichkan-
ten und –ecken nicht von der Bürste einge-
zogen werden.
Bei sehr empfindlichen Bodenbelägen wie
z.B. lose gewebten, extrem langflorigen
Teppichen oder sehr weichen, empfind-
lichen Bodenbeschichtungen weisen wir
darauf hin, dass durch die Benutzung der
Elektroteppichbürste Oberflächenschäden
entstehen können.
Bitte benutzen Sie bei den oben genannten
Bodenbelägen die Kombibodendüse mit
ausgeschwenkten Borsten, die Parkettdü-
se oder eine andere Düse aus dem SEBO
Zubehör.
Wir raten davon ab, alte und besonders
wertvolle handwerklich gearbeitete Tep-
pichbrücken mit der Elektroteppichbürste
zu reinigen.
Auf unebenen Böden ist der Kontakt mit
dem Bodenblech möglich. Vorsicht es
könnten Kratzer entstehen!
Das Gerät über hohe Schwellen tragen.
4. Assembly
A For SEBO AIRBELT C3.1, K3, D4 and E3
Fit on cable (15) plug (16) into the grooves
on the bottom of the handle and push the
opposite plug (17) onto the contact holder
in the hose neck.
B For SEBO AIRBELT C2 and C2.1
1. Push the cover release button (18) on
the inside of the hose neck (19) and pull
off the sealing cover (20).
2. Push the male contact holder (21) onto
the hose neck (19) until it clicks into place.
3. Fit the cable plug (16) into the grooves
on the bottom of the handle. Fix the ca-
ble clips (23) in equal distances along the
hose. The cable is longer than the hose to
maintain its elasticity.
C SEBO AIRBELT C2, C2.1, C3.1, K3, D4
and E3
To assemble, carefully attach the SEBO ET
to the telescopic tube until it locks.
Please do not expose the electri-
cal hose to water or clean it with
water. Damaged cables should be
exchanged by authorized service re-
spresentatives. Do not use the ma-
chine with damaged cables.
Important instructions for
the use of a power head.
Leaving the machine in a stationary posi-
tion for an extended period of time while
the brush roller is spinning may cause
damage to your floor or carpet.
Be sure not to allow carpet edges or
fringe into the brush.
As with any vacuum with a rotating brush,
this machine could cause damage to
loosely woven carpets or rugs, wool loop
carpets, long-piled carpets, or very soft,
sensitive floor coverings. Please use the
combination head or parquet brush on
these types of flooring or floor coverings.
We do not recommend the use of the pow-
er head for cleaning old and especially
valuable hand-crafted carpets.
If you have uneven flooring, the metal
part underneath the machine may come
in contact with the floor, causing scratch-
es.
Please carry the machine across high
thresholds.

5. Handhabung
Wir empfehlen die Elektroteppichbürste
SEBO ET für die professionelle und faser-
tiefe Reinigung Ihrer Teppichböden. Durch
ein Dreh-Kipp-Gelenk (3) ist die Elektro-
teppichbürste in alle Richtungen beweglich
und umsteuert spielerisch jedes Hindernis.
Die Elektroteppichbürste ist in der Stärke
der Bürstwirkung variabel und sorgt für
eine optimale Reinigung bis zum Rand.
Das Rastpedal (10) arretiert das Gelenk in
senkrechter Ruhestellung. In dieser Stel-
lung schaltet die Elektroteppichbürste au-
tomatisch ab und kann durch die interne
Verrastung in Mittelposition gehalten wer-
den um ungewollte Drehbewegungen zu
vermeiden.
Zum Arbeiten das Rastpedal (10) betätigen
und das Saugrohr nach hinten kippen. Die
Bürste läuft jetzt an. Ein Abkippen ohne
Betätigen des Rastpedals führt auf Dauer
zur Beschädigung der Elektroteppichbür-
ste.
6. Bürsteneinstellung
Zuerst den Stellknopf (2) auf Position 4
einstellen und anschließend entsprechend
der Kontrolllampen (6+7) nachjustieren.
Die Bürstenkontrolle überwacht und zeigt
ständig die Funktion der Bürste.
Grün(7) und Rot (6):
Die Bürstwirkung ist nicht ausreichend.
Durch Drehen des Stellknopfes (2) auf eine
niedrigere Stufe, wird die Bürste abge-
senkt. Leuchten das grüne (7) und rote (6)
Signal auf Stufe 1, so ist die Bürste abge-
nutzt und muss ausgetauscht werden. Die-
se Angaben gelten nur für Teppichboden.
Grün: (7)
Bürste arbeitet gut. Wir empfehlen für den
normalen Gebrauch eine Bürsteneinstel-
lung zu wählen, die nur eine Stufe unter-
halb der grün-roten Anzeige liegt. Für ma-
ximale Reinigungsleistung kann die Bürste
auch tiefer (bis Stufe 1) eingestellt werden.
Rot blinkt: (6)
Die Bürste wurde blockiert oder überlastet
(siehe Abschnitt Verstopfungen beseitigen).
Gerät ausschalten, Netzstecker ziehen,
Bürste auf Verunreinigung prüfen.
6a Fußschalter ein/aus*
Für die Reinigung von empfindlichen Boden-
belägen ist die Elektroteppichbürste zusätz-
lich mit einem Fußschalter (7) ausgestattet.
Ist dieser ausgeschaltet, steht die Bürste still
und eine gelbe Kontrolllampe leuchtet. Wird
der Fußschalter betätigt und das Gerät ab-
gekippt (Rastpedal ausgelöst), leuchtet die
Kontrolllampe wieder grün und die Bürste
läuft wieder.

5. Operating Instructions
The use of a power head is recommended
for the optimal cleaning of carpets. The
rotating design of the swivel neck (3) al-
lows the power head to move in any direc-
tion, making it easy to manoeuvre around
obstacles. The power head also has an
adjustable brush height and to-the-edge
brush action for effective all round clean-
ing.
By pushing the foot pedal (10) and low-
ering the handle, you activate the power
head and the brush begins spinning. Fail-
ure to use the foot pedal (10) will cause
lasting damage to the machine.
Start at setting 4 on the height adjuster (2)
and adjust according to the indicator light
(6+7). The electronic brush control con-
stantly monitors the status of the brush,
communicating the status through the
lights on top.
6. Selecting the correct

Green (7) and red (6):
The brush is not fully engaged in the car-
pet. The height adjustment should be low-
ered. If the height adjustment is at its low-
est setting, the brush is worn and needs
to be replaced. This detail applies only to
carpet.
Green light only: (7)
Brush is working well. We strongly
recommend in normal use selecting a
brush height that is only one level beneath
that at which both the green and red
lights are on. For maximum cleaning
performance, the brush height adjustment
can be lowered to its lowest setting.
Red light flashing: (6)
The brush is blocked. (see below Remov-
ing Blockages) Turn off the machine, un-
plug it, and then remove the blockage.
6a Brush on/off button*
To clean delicate floor surfaces, the power
head is equipped with an on/off button*
[7]. When this button is used to turn off the
brush roller, a yellow light will shine, indi-
cating that the head still has power. Pushing
the button again will turn the brush roller on
and the light will turn green.

7. Wartung und Pflege
Bei allen Wartungs- und Reinigungs-
arbeiten Gerät ausschalten und Netz-
stecker ziehen.
Entnahme der Rundbürste
Um die Rundbürste der Elektroteppich-
bürste zu entnehmen, die Press-Taste (9)
drücken und gleichzeitig das Bürstenlager
(8) nach unten wegdrehen und entfernen.
Die Bürste (24) etwas im Uhrzeigersinn
drehen und herausziehen. Es empfiehlt
sich, regelmäßig die auf der Rundbürste
aufgewickelten Fäden und Haare zu ent-
fernen.
Verstopfungen beseitigen
Ist eine geringe Saugwirkung spürbar oder
wurde die Bürste blockiert, kann eine Ver-
stopfung vorliegen. Hierzu beachten Sie
bitte zunächst die Hinweise zur Beseitigung
von Verstopfungen in der Gebrauchsanwei-
sung zu Ihrem SEBO Bodenstaubsauger.
Danach das Gelenk der Elektroteppichbür-
ste an der Einsteckstelle des Staubsaugers
überprüfen. Ggf. die Reinigungsklappe (11)
auf der Unterseite der Elektroteppichbür-
ste öffnen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich
zwischen der Klappe und der Einsteckstel-
le im Gelenk keine Verstopfung befindet.
8. Hinweis zur Entsorgung
Sie können dieses Gerät kostenlos
an jeder öffentlichen Sammelstelle
abgeben. Weitere Informationen er-
halten Sie durch Ihre Kommune.

8. Maintenance and servicing
Always unplug the vacuum from the
mains outlet before dismantling any
part of the machine.
Removing the Brush Roller
To remove the brush roller, press the
button marked “PRESS” (9) and turn the
bearing (8) downward. Turn the brush (24)
quickly to the right and pull it out. We rec-
ommend regular removal of threads and
hair which have wound around the brush
roller.
Removing Blockages
If you can only feel a small amount of suc-
tion or the brush is not functioning cor-
rectly there might be a blockage.
Please refer to your vacuum cleaner man-
ual first and have a look at the Removing
Blockages section.
Check the swivel neck of the power head
and the orange trap-door (11) on the bot-
tom of the power head. Also check be-
tween these two openings in the power
head.
8. Note on disposal
For disposal of used appliances,
please follow the advice of your lo-
cal authority.
