Please take a moment to read through this manual. Its contents will help you to
get the best performance from your product.

1. Short press the power ON button to turn
the unit on. Long press to turn OFF.
2. Press to enable levels digital Zoom ratio
(1.0x->1.07x->1.22x->1.30x->1.38x-
>1.48x>1.58x->1.68x->1.79x->1.92x->
2.0x->1.0x).
3. Press mode button to switch between 4
modes: Photo, Video, Gallery, and Setting.
4. Press IR for 3 levels of IR brightness
(0->IR1->IR2->IR3) when using the
monocular at night.
5. OK button functions:
• In Photo mode, OK takes a photo.
• In Video mode, OK starts and stops
the recording.
• In Gallery / Setting mode, press OK
to select options – for example, start
playing a recorded video or to select
an option from the menu.

6. Turn the focus wheel by hand to
focus the image.
7. Micro SD card and USB slot are located
just above the eyepiece. The micro SD
card (not included) fits in with the card
upwards. Push the Micro SD card into
the slot until it clicks into place.

night-time use. Failure to do so will result
in severely limited performance.

HOW TO USE THE NIGHT VISION MONOCULAR CAMCORDER
1. Remove the lens cap filter for night time use.
2. Short press the ON button to turn the unit on.
3. Pick an infrared power level by pressing the IR button to illuminate at night. There are 3
brightness settings (a higher setting will provide a brighter picture but will deplete
the batteries quicker).
4. Focus the picture by turning the focus wheel clockwise or counter-clockwise.
5. Press the Zoom button to magnify pictures from 1.0x->1.07x->1.14x…to 2.0x then go
back to 1x magnification.
6. Press the Mode button to switch modes—four modes are Photo, Video, Gallery and
Setting (these are explained in the next sections).

1. To take a picture, go to Photo mode (this is the default mode when the unit is switched on).
A camera icon shows at the bottom of the screen. To take a photo, press the OK button.
2. To record a video, go to Video mode. A small video icon will appear at the bottom of the
screen. To start recording, press the OK button. To stop recording, press the OK button
again. Video will save automatically onto the Micro SD memory card.
1. To get the settings menu, use the MODE button to switch
through the photo, video and gallery modes until you reach
this setting menu (see pictured to the right).
2. Use the Zoom and IR buttons to go up and down, and
the OK button to enter/exit menus.
3. Pressing the MODE button will go back to Photo mode.
1. Format SD: Erase everything on your installed memory card.
2. Power Save: Configure the unit to turn off after non-use.
3. Date: Edit current date for displaying date information on the Photos/Videos.
4. Time: Edit current time for showing time information on the Photos/Videos.
5. Flicker: Select 50Hz/60Hz according to power system frequency. For example, select 50Hz for
220V/50Hz power system.
6. LCD Backlight: Change the brightness of the screen. Use the ZOOM and IR buttons to increase/
decrease the brightness. Press OK to save.
7. Date/Time Tag: ON/OFF Date and Time information on the Photos/Videos.
8. Version: Display software version installed.
1. The unit has a small connection port just
above the eyepiece (next to the memory
card slot). Using the supplied USB cable,
connect your PC to the unit.
2. When the unit is turned off, plug it into
your PC. An SDHC & USB icon will display
on the screen of your unit. On Windows,
navigate to your File Explorer. The unit
may appear as “USB DISK”, “REMOVABLE
STORAGE” or something similar.
3. Within this drive, your photos and videos
will be in a folder called DCIM\100JLCAM.

SPECIFICATIONS
1. Open the compartment on the bottom of the unit.
2. Insert 4 x AA alkaline batteries (not included).
Do not use lead acid batteries. Negative goes on the “spring”
connectors (see picture to the right).
3. Close the battery compartment.
Poor Image:
1. Make sure the lens cap is on during the day and off at night.
2. Check that the unit is focused by adjusting the focus wheel at the front of the device.
3. Check that the IR illumination level is well adjusted.
No Power:
1. If the unit fails to turn on, check for defective missing, or improperly-installed batteries.
Replace or install batteries correctly.
2. Please make sure to use only alkaline AA batteries.

1. Review your photos and videos on the unit itself by pressing the MODE button until you
get to the Gallery mode.
2. Use the ZOOM and IR buttons to scroll up and down through your photos and videos.
3. Play a video by pressing the OK button on a selected video, and selecting “Play” from the
sub-menu using the OK button.
4. To delete a photo or video, press OK button and select “Delete” from the sub-menu.
