Yourelectric fireplace isfully assembled from the factory
withthe exceptionsonpages5-7. Therearenouserserviceable partsinside
the fireplace. Ifthe unit appearstomalfunction,turn the unit off and unplug
the unit from the wall immediatelyand contact CustomerService. Alteration of
the fireplace will voiditswarrantyand may cause the fireplace tomalfunction
resulting inelectricalshock,fire,deathorseriousbodily injury orproperty
damage.

FIREPLACEUNIT CANGETHOT INCLUDING,BUTNOT LIMITEDTO, THETOP
CENTER OF THEFIREPLACE. KEEP CHILDRENAWAY FROMTHE FIREPLACE AT
ALL TIMESTOAVOIDBURN,SHOCKOR SERIOUSINJURY OR DEATH. Always
supervisechildren toensurethey donot play with ortouch the fireplace. Do
not place any cloth,decorationsorothercombustible materialoverthe
fireplace outlet ofthe fireplace,orotherwise obstruct the fireplace outlet of

When usingelectricalappliances,basicprecautions shouldalwaysbe followed toreduce the risk offire, electricalshock,

1.This fireplace is hot when inuseand for severalminutes after use. To avoidburns, do not touch hot surfaces ofthe
fireplace such as the heated ventingareas ofthe fireplace. DONOTATTEMPTTOMOVETHEFIREPLACEWHILEITIS
PLUGGED IN OR IN OPERATION OR FOR SEVERALMINUTESAFTER OPERATION. Ifprovided, usehandles when
movingthisfireplace.Keepallcombustiblematerialsincluding,butnotlimitedto,furniture,pillows,bedding,
papers,clothes and curtains atleast3feet(0.9meters) fromthe entirefireplace unit

6.This fireplace is not intended for, and mustnot be used inbathrooms, laundry areas or any other location in,
around,or nearwater or thatmaybecomewet. Neverlocate fireplace where itmay fall into a bathtub or other
water source. Failure tofollow this instruction mayresultinelectricalshock, fire, and serious bodily injury, death
or property damage.
7.Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not coverpower cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange
power cord awayfromtrafficarea and where itwill not be tripped overor damaged.
8.To disconnect fireplace,turn controlstooff, then removeplugfromoutlet.
9.Connect toproperlygrounded outlets only.
10.Do not insert or allow foreignobjects toenteranyventilation or exhaustopenings as this may causeanelectric
shock or fire,and mayresultinserious bodily injury ordeath.
11.To prevent a possiblefire,do not block fireplace airintakesor exhaustinany manner. Do not operate fireplace
on softsurfaces,(such as a bed),where openingmay becomeblocked.
12.Afireplace has hot and archingor sparkingparts inside. Do notuseinareas where gasoline, paint, orother
flammableliquids or fumes areused or stored.
13.There is a thermostatlimiter inside the fireplace. Whenthe inner temperature becomes equalor overthe set
thermostatlevelor abnormalheatingoccurs,the thermostatprotectivedevice will cut off power supply toavoid
thefireplacedamagedorriskof fire.
14.Usethis fireplace onlyas described inthis userguide. Failure todo soor usingthe fireplace ina manner not
listed hereinmaycausefire,electricalshock,death or serious bodily injury orproperty damage.
15.Always plugfireplace directlyinto a grounded wall outlet/receptacle. Neverusewith anextension cord or power

Step 1:
Puttheunit in anon-abrasivesurface.Turn both thumbscrews counterclockwise to
loosen.Thethumbscrews should notberemoved fromtheouterframe.
WARNING Stoneand Glass pieces arenottoys.Keep children awayand donot
allow children toplayas theglass and stonepieces maypose achoking
hazard.
WARNING Unplugthefireplacebeforeassemblingordisassembling.Failureto do
so could result in serious bodilyinjuryordeath.Theunit mayremain
hotforseveralminutes afterbeingturned off and unplugged.

WARNING To preventtheframefromfallingforward,ensurethat thethumbs
screws areattached properlyand fullytightened.

This product mustbe grounded. This product is equipped with a cord havinganequipment-grounding
conductor and a groundingplug. The plugmustbe pluggedinto anappropriate outlet thatis properly
installed and grounded inaccordance with all localcodes and ordinances.
This fireplace is for useon 120 volts circuitand has a grounded plugthatlooks likethe oneillustrated on
Figure 1. See Figure 1for groundinginstruction. Anadapter as shown atCis availablefor connecting
three-bladegroundingtypeplugstotwo-slotreceptacles.Thegreengroundingplugextendingfromthe
adapter mustbe connected toa permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
shouldnot be used if a three-slotgrounded receptacleis available.
Improper connection ofthe equipment-groundingconductor canresultina risk of
electricshock which maycauseserious injury, death or property damage. Check with
qualified electricianor service person if youareindoubt as towhether the product is
properlygrounded. Do not modifythe plugprovided with the product. Ifitwill not fit
theoutlet;haveaproperoutletinstalledbyqualifiedelectrician.
Note:
A15amp,120 voltcircuitisrequired.Adedicatedcircuitispreferredbutnotessential
inall cases. Adedicated circuitwill be required if, after installation, the circuitbreaker
trips or a fuseblows on a regularbasis when the fireplace is operating. Additional
appliances on the samecircuitmayexceed the current ratingofthe circuitbreaker .

2H,3H,4H,5H,6H,7H,8H,9H.Donot
operatefireplacewhileunattended.

Thefirstthingtodowith theremotecontrolis toremovetheplasticsheetinsulated thebattery.(The
battery is supplied with theremotecontrol.) Replacementbatteries can bepurchaseat any electronics
store. Thepartnumber for thebattery is CR2025.Pleasefollowthesequencebelowtoreplacethe
battery.

bulbs.These generatethesamelightlevels as convention bulbs,butuseafraction of
theenergy. These LEDbulbs aremaintenancefree and should not requirereplacing
duringthelife of theproduct.
