SimPal-T40 GSMpowersocketis aremotecontrolledsocketconsistingofaGSMmodule.
The powersupplyoutputcan be turnedonoroff remotelybytheSMScommand or local
controlled bypressingbutton.
SimPal-T20 slavesocketconnectwith T40,up to30metersrangebetween T20 and T40
connection.You can control one T40and fourT20 withoneSIMcard.
BothT20 and T40socketsupporttemperaturemonitor,temperature control,calendar control
anddelaycontrolbysendingSMSfromyourmobilephone.
All servicesandfunctionsneed tobe supportedbytheGSMnetworkandaSIMcard.

Therearetwomobilephoneuser controlling levels:
Master-user(“Master”):
Onlyone Master hasauthorization touseall featuresof SimPal-T4.
Inordertoenableall thefunctionsonthesocket, the Master muststorehis/her mobile
numberinthesockets memory.Onlyone Master s mobilenumberis allowedfor asocket.
Family users(“Family”):
Therearefour families haveauthorizationtousecommandsofswitchonorcutoffthe
socket output, checksocket temperaturevalue or receivepowerstatuschangealert.
Theothermobilephoneusers haveno authorization tocontrolthesocket.

2.2About the SMSCommand
•SMScommand format: #code#content#.
•The maximumdigits thatare allowsforthe phonenumberis sixteen.
•SimPal-T40 will replytotheuserafteritreceivestheSMScommand.

•The “#”symbol must notbe ignoredwhen typinganSMScommand.
•Noallowanyspacewithinthecommands.
3.1Start touse
§Installed SIMcard toSimPal-T40GSMpower socket; youwill see aSIMcard slotatthe
side,maketheSIMcardmetalcontact upside and hardlypushtheSIMcard until SIMcard
fixed.
§Insert the temperature sensor intotheI/O portuntilit is seized.

Power on:
1. Plug the SimPal-T40 inanAC powersocket.
The GSMLED will beflashingslowly forabout15seconds,andturntoslowlybreathestatus,
breatheLED means the socketalready registerGSMnetwork, its readytoworking.
The socket default poweroutput is OFF.
2. Insert the plugof electronicapplianceintheSimPal-T40electricaloutlet.
3.Mbutton (See 5onFigure1) can be pressed for aboutonesecondtoswitchon oroff the
socket output.
After adding usernumberstothe socket, userscansend SMScommand tocontrolthe
powersupplyoutput.

1.IftheGSMindicatorlightisflashslowlyall thetime,whichimplytheSIM card
working abnormally,allfunctionsofthissocketareinvalid.
2.CheckGSMnetwork signaloftheusing place:
•GSMnetworkssignalstrengthmayaffectthesocketfeature.Therefore,before

using,theusershouldensurethatSimPal-T40isusedinanarea withastrong
GSM networksignal.
•For thefirsttimeuse,theusershouldperformatest-runbysendingSMStothe
socket. Thisallowstheusertocheck theGSMnetworkconnectionof thesocket.
3.2.1RegisterMaster-number.
Sending followingSMStosocket SIMcardnumberfromyour mobilephone(thephone number
will be the Master number):
