Charger Operation
1. Select the correct electrical supply input plug for your region and fit it to the
charger power supply unit.
2. Plug the charger power supply unit into an electrical supply socket and switch on
the electrical supply. The ‘power’ LED indicator will illuminate, alternating between
red and yellow. If the ‘power’ LED indicator illuminates red continuously this
indicates a fault in the charger timing circuit - refer to SKC Ltd customer support.
3. Plug a charger output connector into the charging socket on a battery pack.
The charger output LED indicator will illuminate continuously to indicate that the
charger is charging at full rate. Any combination of the five charger outputs may
be used simultaneously and battery packs can be connected at any time, as each
charger output is individually controlled.
4. After the fixed 15 hour charging period the charger will automatically switch the
output to a trickle charging rate, and the output LED indicator will flash on and off
to indicate this.
5. It is recommended to disconnect the charger from the battery pack after a period
of 24hours to maintain optimum battery life and performance.
6. It is recommended to disconnect the charger from the electrical supply when not
in use to save the energy the charger consumes when on standby.
