1 Information
1.1 Safety Instructions
When opening and closing the instrument and when adjusting the tension of the
holder as well as when clamping-in the instrument, make sure that fingers are not
trapped or squeezed. Before using the instrument for the first time, you should be
familiar with its functions.

Attention
The SLK Harmonica Rack is not suitable for children. There is
a risk of fingers being squeezed or clamped.
1.2 Disposal
This product contains the following compounds:
Heat shrinkable plastic tubing
Stainless steel wire, components and screws
Aluminium print parts
At the end of the product life, the materials must be disposed, separated into plastic,
aluminium and stainless steel via locally available return or collection systems.n.
1.3 Cleaning
Care must be taken to protect the individual parts from dirt and dust. Occasional
cleaning with a dry, lint-free cloth is sufficient.

Achtung
Surfaces must not be cleaned with solvents, oil or
other lubricants.
1.4 Tools
Only the tools mentioned in these operating instructions are to be used for
adjustment work.

2 Description
The SLK Harmonica Rack is a neck-guided holder that places diatonic harmonicas
(so-called Bluesharps) in front of the mouth in such a way that no hands are
necessary for playing.
The hands remain free for playing guitar, banjo, piano or other instruments.

3 Instructions
3.1 Positions
Clamping lever open

3.2 Changing the instrument
The lower part of the clamping bracket is
pressed slightly upwards with one hand and
the instrument is inserted into or removed
from the gap between the clamping bracket
and the angle bracket.
3.3 Folding

4 Adjustments
For some adjustment work on the SLK-Harmonica Rack, an Allen wrench of sizes
SW2.5 and SW 1.5 is required.
4.1 Adjustment Clamping Levers
With the knurled nut the clamping force
of the quick release is initially adjusted
once.
Turning it clockwise increases the
clamping force, turning it
counterclockwise reduces the clamping
force.
The clamping force is correctly adjusted
as soon as the clamping lever can still be
moved slightly over the dead centre just
before engaging, while the adjusting arm
is firmly fixed at the same time.

4.4 Setting the locking force
The pretension of the compression spring is determining the clamping force of the
quick release device. The pretension can be changed by moving the adjusting ring.
When the adjusting ring is moved upwards, the tension force increases.

4.5 Setting the Memory Stop
The Memory Stop fixes the angle of the hold for the optimal playing position of the
instrument in front of the mouth. The following describes, how to adjust this angle to
the individual playing position of the player.
