3 INSTALLATION AND POSITIONING
INSTALLATIONandPOSITIONING
Bringthehooddishwashertotheinstallationsite,removethepackagingandchecktheapplianceand
componentsfordamage;anydamagefoundmustbereportedtothetransporterinwriting.
Thepackagingcomponents(plasticbags,expandedpolystyrene,nails,etc.)mustnotbeleftwithinreach
ofchildrenandpetssincetheyarepotentiallydangerous.Allpackagingmaterialsusedareenvironment‐
friendly.Theycanbekeptwithoutconstitutinganyhazard,ormaybedisposedofataspecialistwaste
disposalcentre.Theplasticcomponentssuitableforrecyclingaremarkedasfollows:PEpolyethylene:
externalpackagingfilm,bagcontainingtheinstructions,protectivebags.PPpolypropylene:straps.PS
expandedpolystyrene:cornerguards,topofpackaging.Woodenandcardboardcomponentscanbe
disposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulations.Whentheproductisdecommissioneditmust
notbedumpedintheenvironment;itmustbedisposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulations.
Allmetalpartsareinstainlesssteelandcanberemoved.Theplasticpartsaremarkedwiththesymbol
identifyingthematerialusedandmustbedisposedofinaccordancewiththerelevantregulationsWhen
theproductisdecommissioneditmustnotbedumpedintheenvironment;itmustbedisposedofin
accordancewiththerelevantregulations.
POSITIONING:
Caution:theindoorsystemandpremisesinwhichequipmentforinstitutionsisinstalled
mustcomplywiththerelevantregulations.
Themanufacturerdeclinesallliabilityfordirectorindirectinjuryordamagederivingfromfailure
tocomplywiththeseregulations.
Beforeinstallation,checkthattherearenoobjectsormaterialsinthevicinitywhichmaybe
damagedbysteamorsplashesofwashingsolution,orthatanysuchitemsaresuitablyprotected.
Placethedishwasherinthechosenpointandremovetheprotectivefilm.
Levelthedishwasher(withtheaidofaspiritlevel)onitsadjustablefeettoensurethatitisstable;
allothermountingsolutionsmustbeapprovedbythemanufacturer.

4.1 Plumbinghookup
Watersupplyanddrainhookup
Thewaterpipelinesandelectricitysupplycableleadoutofthebottomright‐
handcorneroftheappliance.Connectthewaterintakehosetoaconnector
with¾”gasthreadedfitting,fittingthefilterAprovided(inmodelswith
Aquastop,thefilterandring‐nutformasingleunit).
Theconnectiontothewatermainsmustonlybemadewithnewhoses;the
useofoldorwornhosesisnotpermitted.
Thedynamicwatersupplypressuremustbebetween1and6bar;ifitishigher,installationofa
pressurereducerisnecessary.
Itisessentialtofitamainstoptaponthewaterintakedeliverpipeline;thetapmustbeaccessible
afterinstallationoftheappliance,sodonotinstallitbehindthedishwasher.Thestatedcycle
durationappliestoappliancessuppliedwithhotwater>50°C<60°C.Ifthedishwasherissupplied
withcoldwater,thecycledurationmightincreasedependingontheintakewatertemperature.The
dishwasherisfittedwithadrainpumpandcanoperatewithdrainconnectionsonthefloororwall.

Drainage:
Thedishwasherisfittedwithadrainpumpandcanoperate
withdrainconnectionsonthefloororwall.
Caution:makesurethattheintakeanddrainhoses
arenotbent,constrictedorcrushedafter
installation.
Warning!Maximumheightofdrainhose!
Iftheapplianceisfittedwithawatersoftener,thedrainmustnotbeconnectedtoasiphonwith
valve.

4.2 Electricalconnection
Thedishwasherandanyadditionalequipmentmustbeconnectedtotheelectrical
systembyauthorised,skilledstaff,inaccordancewiththerelevantregulations;also
complywiththetechnicalinstructionsfortheconnection.
Thetotalratedpowerisstatedontheappliance’stechnicaldataplate.
Theelectricalprotectiondevicesfittedforthedishwashermustservethisappliance
only.
Theusermusthaveamasterswitchandadifferentialsafetybreaker,withrating
suitablefortheappliance’scharacteristics,installedontheelectricitysupplylinein
accordancewiththerelevantregulations.
Theseswitchesmustbeinstalledclosetothedishwasher,beeasilyaccessibleafter
installation,andprovidecompletedisconnectionfromtheelectricalmainsin
overvoltageclassIIIconditions.

5 FIRST START-UP
Firststart‐up
Theelectricalprotectionsystemmustundergoafunctionaltestbeforetheapplianceisputinto
operation.
Theappliancemustbeinstalledand/orinspectedbyqualifiedstaff,whowillstartitupforthefirst
timeandprovidetherelevantoperatinginstructions.
Preparingforuse(important)
Therinseaiddispenserisfittedonallmodels,thedetergentdispenseronlyonsome.
Ifbothdispensersarepresentputtheexternaldetergentandrinseaidcontainersinplaceand
inserttherespectiveintakehosesontherearoftheapplianceintothem.

Beforeinsertingthehosesintothecontainers,fittheweights(needed
toensurethattheyalwaysdrawinliquidfromthebottomsofthe
containers)andthefiltersontotheirendsasshown.
Ifthedetergentdispenserisnotfactory‐fitted,itcanberetrofitted
afterorderingtherelativekit.
Asanalternativeanexternaldispensercanbefitted,makingtheelectricalconnectionbymeansof
anH05RN‐F2x0.5mmelectricalcable,whichcanbelaidalongtherouteshownintheTECHNICAL
DATAdiagram.Theelectricalconnectionmustbemadeinaccordancewiththeelectricalsystem
diagramsuppliedwiththedishwasher,disconnectingtheinternaldispenser,ifany,andmakingthe
connectiontotheexternalunit.
Thedispensermustoperateon230V/50Hzwithmaximumpowerabsorptionof15W.
Connecttothedetergentdispenseroutsidethedishwasherusingtheredhosementionedabove.
Asanalternativeanexternaldispensercanbefitted,makingtheelectricalconnectionbymeansof
anH05RN‐F2x0.5mmelectricalcable,whichcanbelaidalongtherouteshownintheTECHNICAL
DATAdiagramandconnectedasshowninthewiringdiagramsuppliedwiththedishwasher.

6 SET-UP
6.1 Dishwasherparametermodificationprocedure:
Onlyaccessibleafterfillingiscompleteorwiththehoodopen.
Access“programmingmode”bypressingthebuttonfor
afewsecondswiththeapplianceonwiththehoodopen
andthetankempty(afterthefillingandheatingphases).
ThedisplayshowsUnLo1:58;whenthebeepsounds,
releasethebuttonandpressitagainatonce.Keep
pressingthebuttonagaintoscrollthroughallthe
modifiableparametersinthefollowingorder:
Rinsingtemperature(boilertemperature)
IMPORTANT:
Wheneverthetypeofdetergentorrinseaidischanged,itisABSOLUTELYESSENTIALtoflushout
theperistalticpumpsbyplacingtheexternalintakepipesinwaterforafewcycles.
Alwaysuseonlyproductsspecificallyrecommendedforuseinadishwasher.
Failuretocomplywiththisrecommendationleadstoforfeitureofthewarrantyentitlementon
theappliance’swatersystem.
TheinternalpipesofthedetergentandrinseaidpumpsshouldbereplacedbytheAfter‐Sales
Serviceevery12monthsor15,000washcyclesandoperationofthediaphragmrinseaidpump
shouldbechecked.
