Propeller Guard. The propeller
guard offers protection from the
spinning propellers of the dual
12 volt trolling motors. They
are made of a high density PVC
material that is rust and chemical
resistant under normal conditions.
Pontoons. The pontoons are
individually designed to allow the
watercraft to remain stable in the
water under minor wave conditions.
These lightweight and buoyant
pontoons are made of molded liner low-density polymer plastic.
Pontoon Arm Adjuster. The spring-loaded pontoon arm adjuster is designed
for quick and easy adjusting for different passenger weights. Simply pull the
white, spring-loaded knob and adjust the pontoon arm to one of the locations
marked.
WARNING: Adjust pontoon arms before passenger use in the water. Do
not stand on pontoons. Watercraft should not be used in swimming areas.

6
Viewer Window. When installed, the viewer window allows the passenger to
recline and view underwater without the use of a snorkeling face mask and
tube.
The attached padded headrest provides comfort during underwater viewing.
The Snorkel Craft was designed to allow anyone, even the physically challenged,
the opportunity to safely snorkel in calm open water.
CAUTION: Remove viewer window before transporting.
Main Frame. The lightweight, corrosion resistant, aluminum frame comes fully
assembled. It is water-sealed and has a maximum weight capability of up to
300 lbs. The frame has permanently welded motor, skid wheel, battery box,
hand-grip and pontoon arm attachments.

Control Panel. The water-sealed control panel contains the key switch for
powering on the watercraft, as well as the emergency stop switch, battery power
indicator meter, battery charging port, and the front joystick controls.
Battery Box. The right and left battery boxes, each containing two Power Sonic
12 volt batteries, provide up to a total of 4 hours of quiet watercraft use. These
boxes can be recharged with a battery charger that is plugged into a port in
the front control box. Each battery box is equipped with a joystick control
for maneuverability of the watercraft. The battery boxes are water-sealed with
quick release latches for easy access to the batteries.
WARNING: Do not attempt to charge the batteries while the Snorkel Craft
is in the water.

Solar Panel Array. The solar
panel array is designed to
produce electrical energy on
sunny days or near sunny
days. They work best, and are
trouble free, when kept clean
and turned off when not in use.
Solar Controller. The solar controller distributes to and from the storage
batteries, from the solar array and to the electric motors.
CAUTION: Do not get the controller wet or damp.
Solar Connect - Battery Direct. The solar connect - battery direct manual
switches are on the front of the solar controller. These manually switch electric
power from the solar panels
and battery to battery only.

completely assembled but
it must be attached to the
frame. Bimini brackets
are included. Simply slide
the supports into bimini
brackets located on the
rear of pontoon adjusters.
Insert (4) 1/4”-20 bolts

OPERATION
The MotorGuide® trolling motors have been slightly modied. A MotorGuide®
operation manual has been included with the purchase of the Snorkel Craft
watercraft. Refer to pages 13 and 14 for details on trolling motor installation
and operation. Refer to pages 15-18 for trolling motor maintenance.
The forward and reverse speed control on the original trolling motors has been
replaced with dual joysticks for operation. They are now locked into the Snorkel
Craft frame with the use of spring-loaded plungers, eliminating transom mount
capabilities.
To power up, insert the motor power cables into
each battery box receptacle. Then insert key into
the control panel key switch and turn clockwise.
Make sure that the emergency stop switch is
engaged to allow joysticks to operate.
The passenger may choose from either of the dual
joysticks. One set is located at the front of the
watercraft, under the control panel. The other
set is located on the top of each battery box. The
joysticks are labeled “forward” and “reverse” and
allow the watercraft to go in any direction with
ease.
The Snorkel Craft can be easily transported to the water with a 12-foot boat
trailer, to be purchased separately. See dealer for details.
WARNING: Snorkel Craft must be in at least 14-inches of water before
lowering trolling motors.

13
MAINTENANCE
BEFORE EACH USE
6Visually inspect for loose or corroded wiring connections from the motor.
6Check the tightness of the propeller nut.
6Check the propeller blades for damage.
AFTER EACH USE
6Turn key switch to OFF position.
6Check the propeller and the propeller shaft for debris. Remove all debris.
6Check the tightness of the propeller nut.
6Rinse motor with clean water to eliminate corrosion that may damage the
surface.
EVERY 50 HOURS OF USE OR EVERY SIX MONTHS
6Depending on frequency of use, clean pontoon arm adjusters with denatured
alcohol and lubricate with Super Lube synthetic grease. One tube included
with watercraft purchase.
6Check the tightness of bolts, nuts, and fasteners.
BATTERY INSPECTION
6The battery boxes should be inspected at periodic intervals to ensure proper
motor operation.
6Ensure that battery cable terminals are clean, tight, and correctly installed.
Electrical system is equipped with one 30-amp fuse within each of the battery
boxes. If either motor will not run, check to see if fuses need replacing.

14
BATTERY CHARGING
Both plugs (Black for
solar charging) and (Red
for battery charging)
use the same charging
port. Solar charging
will keep battery fully
charged on sunny
days under normal
conditions. The option
of a battery charger
back up (included) can
be used to top off the
battery before normal
use.
6The battery-charging receptacle is located at the front of the control panel.
6It will take up to 3 hours to recharge the batteries at 10-amps, with
included battery charger.
WARNING: Do not charge with a battery charger with a charging rate
greater than 10 amperes.
WARNING: Monitor the voltage on the SOLAR CONTROLLER (Mounted
under the Bimini top) during water craft use to determine remaining battery
charge. Battery charge should not go below 10.6 Volts. Battery monitor is
located within the ProStar Solar Controller.
