IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
– Read and carefully follow all instructions within this
user manual.
– Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
– To protect against electrical shock do not immerse
cord, plugs, or the base in water or other liquid.
– Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children.
– Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow cooling before putting on or taking off
any parts.
– Do not operate any appliances with a damaged cord
or plug, after the appliance has malfunctioned, or it
has been damaged in any manner. Call our customer
care number for more information or return the
appliance at the store of purchase for examination
and repair. Never repair the appliance by yourself.
– Do not use accessory attachments other than the
ones supplied at purchase. The use of accessory
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer
may result in fire, electrical shock or personal injury!
– Do not use the appliance outdoors.
– Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or
counter. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.
– Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven.
– Extreme caution must be used when moving an
appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
– Always attach the plug to appliance first, then plug
the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any
controls to the “off” setting, and then remove the plug
from the wall outlet.
– Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
–WARNING: Electric Shock Hazard
Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must
not be inserted in a toaster as they may involve a risk
of fire or electric shock.
–WARNING: A fire may occur if toasters are covered
or touching flammable material, including curtains,
draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
–
– Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is
plugged in.
– A short power-supply cord should be used to
reduce the risk of entanglement or tripping. Longer
detachable power-supply cords or extension cords
may be used if care is exercised. If a longer detachable
power-supply cord or an extension cord is used, the
marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at a minimum the electrical rating
of the appliance. The cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
– Save these instructions in a convenient location.
HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
NOTE: Read and carefully follow the safety instructions

– This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
– Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
– Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
– Please read the operating instructions carefully before
using the appliance.
– Please keep these instructions, purchase receipt and if
possible, the box with inner packaging in a safe place.
– This appliance is intended exclusively for private and
not for commercial use.
– Always remove the plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use, when you are attaching
accessories, cleaning it, or in the event of a
malfunction.
– In the event of a malfunction, switch off the appliance.
Do not pull the cable or plug.
– Keep children away from the appliance to keep them
safe from electric shocks.
– Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of
children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down
within their reach.
– Check the cable and the appliance regularly for
damage. Do not switch on the appliance if it is.
– Do not repair the appliance by yourself, but consult an
authorised professional instead or call our Customer
Care number.
– Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat,
direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and other
dangerous situations.
– Never leave the appliance unsupervised if it is in use.
– Always switch off the appliance if you are not using it,
even if only for a brief period.
– Only use original parts.
– Never use the appliance outside.
– Never submerge the appliance in water or any other
liquid. Do not allow the appliance to come into
contact with water or other liquids. Do not use the
appliance with wet or moist hands.
–WARNING: Remove the plug from the socket
immediately if it is moist or wet.
Do not touch the water!
– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
– Only use the appliance for its intended purpose
– This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
– Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
– Because the bread has a risk of burning, do not use
the toaster near or below combustible material, such
as curtains.
– The appliances are not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system
– After you finish using this product, please recycle the
product for disposal in accordance with your local
regulations.
– Please observe the following “Toaster Specific Safety
Instructions”.
TOASTER SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
– Only use the appliance if supervised (very dry and hot
bread may catch fire if toasted).
–WARNING: Danger of burns!
Be cautious around the hot metal parts of the toaster.
– Do not insert any forks, knives or other utensils or
similar objects in the toasting slot.
– Do not place the appliance anywhere near
inflammable objects such has curtains, wood, etc.
– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
– This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical. sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
– Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
– The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster
near or below combustible material, such as curtains.

Operation and Care
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed
safety plug (220-240V 50/60Hz).
1. Turn the selector dial clockwise to set the toasting level
from the lightest stage (1) to the darkest stage (6). If in
doubt, always begin with the lower setting.
The black mark on the selector switch indicates the
current setting.
2. Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push
down the lever until it locks. The appliance will start
the toasting process.
3. The appliance will then switch off immediately once
the set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast
will then pop up automatically.
4. The appliance has a heat-insulated casing. However,
as metal parts still heat up during operation, please
allow cooling down before you put it away.
5. The toaster only allows two slices to be toasted at the
one time. One in each slot.
6. Surfaces near the toaster may become hot when
in use
If you wish to use the REHEAT or DEFROST functions,
press the desired function button and then pushed the
lever down.
– Cancel function: To stop toasting prematurely
– Reheat function: To reheat the toast
– Defrost function: To defrost and toast frozen bread
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
– Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down.
– Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of
the appliance.
– Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
– Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out,
remove the bread residue and push the shaft back in.
Repairs can be carried out by licensed dealers or the
repair services after the end of the guarantee period,
but are subject to charge.

information on the type, the amount and the CO2equivalent in tonnes of the fluorinated
greenhouse gas(on some models), please refer to the relevant label on the unit itself.

Installation, service, maintenance and repair of this unit must be performed by a certified
technician.

Product uninstallation and recycling must be performed by a certified technician.
Sociable Remark
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste
separately for special treatment is necessary.
It is prohibited to dispose of this appliance in domestic household waste.
For disposal, there are several possibilities:
When using this dehumidifier in the European countries, the following information
must be followed:
· The municipality has established collection systems, where electronic waste can be disposed
of at least free of charge to the user.
· When buying a new product, the retailer will take back the old product at least free of charge.
· The manufacture will take back the old appliance for disposal at least free of charge to the user.
· As old products contain valuable resources, they can be sold to scrap metal dealers. Wild
disposal of waste in forests and landscapes endangers your health when hazardous
substances leak into the ground-water and find their way into the food chain.

Warranty Information
WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
SMALL DOMESTIC APPLIANCES
This document sets out the terms and conditions of the
product warranties for Residentia Group Appliances. It is
an important document. Please keep it with your proof of
purchase documents in a safe place for future reference
should you require service for your Appliance.
1. IN THIS WARRANTY
(a) ‘acceptable quality’ as referred to in clause 10 of this
warranty has the same meaning referred to in the ACL;
(b) ‘ACL’ means Trade Practices Amendment (Australian
Consumer Law) Act (No.2) 2010;
(c) ‘Appliance’ means any Residentia Group product
purchased by you accompanied by this document;
(d) ‘ASR’ means Residentia Group authorised service
representative;
(e) ‘Residentia Group’ means Residentia Group Pty Ltd
of 165 Barkly Ave, Burnley VIC 3121, ACN 600 546 656
in respect of Appliances purchased in Australia;
(f ) ‘major failure’ as referred to in clause 10 of this
warranty has the same meaning referred to in the ACL
and includes a situation when an Appliance cannot be
repaired or it is uneconomic for Residentia Group, at
its discretion, to repair an Appliance during the
Warranty Period;
(g) ‘Warranty Period’ means:
(i) where the Appliance is used for personal,
domestic or household use (i.e. normal single
family use) as set out in the instruction manual,
the Appliance is warranted against manufacturing
defects for 24 months, following the date of
original purchase of the Appliance;
(h) ‘you’ means the purchaser of the Appliance not having
purchased the Appliance for re-sale, and ‘your’ has a
corresponding meaning.
2. This warranty only applies to Appliances purchased
and used in Australia and is in addition to (and does
not exclude, restrict, or modify in any way) any
non-excludable statutory warranties in Australia.
3. During the Warranty Period Residentia Group or its
ASR will, at no extra charge if your Appliance is readily
accessible for service, without special equipment
and subject to these terms and conditions, repair or
replace any parts which it considers to be defective.
Residentia Group or its ASR may use remanufactured
parts to repair your Appliance. You agree that any
replaced Appliances or parts become the property of
Residentia Group. This warranty does not apply to light
globes, baeries, filters or similar perishable parts.
4. Parts and Appliances not supplied by Residentia Group
are not covered by this warranty.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Australian Consumer Law requires the
inclusion of the following statement with
this warranty:
5. You will bear the cost of transportation, travel and
delivery of the Appliance to and from Residentia
Group or its ASR. If you reside outside of the service
area, you will bear the cost of:
(a) travel of an authorised representative;
(b) transportation and delivery of the Appliance to and
from Residentia Group or its ASR, in all instances,
unless the Appliance is transported by Residentia
Group or its ASR, the Appliance is transported at
the owner’s cost and risk while in transit to and from
Residentia Group or its ASR.
6. Proof of purchase is required before you can make a
claim under this warranty.
7. You may not make a claim under this warranty unless
the defect claimed is due to faulty or defective parts
or workmanship. Residentia Group is not liable in the
following situations (which are not exhaustive):
(a) the Appliance is damaged by:
(i) accident
(ii) misuse or abuse, including failure to properly
maintain or service
(iii) normal wear and tear
(iv) power surges, electrical storm damage or
incorrect power supply
(v) incomplete or improper installation
(vi) incorrect, improper or inappropriate operation
(vii) insect or vermin infestation
(viii) failure to comply with any additional instructions
supplied with the Appliance;
(b) the Appliance is modified without authority from
Residentia Group in writing;
(c) the Appliance’s serial number or warranty seal has
been removed or defaced;
(d) the Appliance was serviced or repaired by anyone
other than Residentia Group, an authorised repairer
or ASR.
8. This warranty, the contract to which it relates and the
relationship between you and Residentia Group are
governed by the law applicable where the Appliance
was purchased.
9. To the extent permied by law, Residentia Group
excludes all warranties and liabilities (other than as
contained in this document) including liability for any
loss or damage whether direct or indirect arising from
your purchase, use or non use of the Appliance.
10. For Appliances and services provided by Residentia
Group in Australia, the Appliances come with a
guarantee by Residentia Group that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled
to have the Appliance repaired or replaced if the
Appliance fails to be of acceptable quality and the
failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits
to you given by this warranty are in addition to your
other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the
Appliances or services to which the warranty relates.
11. At all times during the Warranty Period, Residentia
Group shall, at its discretion, determine whether repair,
replacement or refund will apply if an Appliance has a
valid warranty claim applicable to it.
12. Missing parts are not covered by warranty. Residentia
Group reserves the right to assess each request for
missing parts in a case by case basis. Any parts that are
not reported missing in the first week aer purchase
will not provide free of charge.
13. To enquire about claiming under this warranty, please
follow these steps:
(a) carefully check the operating instructions, user manual
and the terms of this warranty;
(b) have the model and serial number of the Appliance
available;
(c) have the proof of purchase (e.g. an invoice) available;
(d) telephone the numbers shown below.
14. You accept that if you make a warranty claim,
Residentia Group and its ASR may exchange
information in relation to you to enable Residentia
Group to meet its obligations under this warranty.
IMPORTANT
Before calling for service, please ensure that the steps in
point 13 have been followed.
