Welcome to SGA1, a high-performance Headphone Amp(HPA) & Pre-Amp(PRE)
developed and manufactured by SONCOZ technology in Shenzhen, PRC.
Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with its operation.

02 OPERATIONS AND SETTINGS
SGA1 has one multi-function knob button on the front of the unit which integrates
all the functions and operations. Operation mode include one press, two
consecutive press, long press and slow and fast left or right Rotation.
1 The multi-function knob button
Press the knob once and rotate it that will switch between the 5 options
Switching order: V-G-IN-HPA-PRE
V: Volume value G: Gain value IN: Analog inputs
HPA: Headphone Amp outputs PRE: Pre-Amp outputs
Each input/output/volume and gain can be adjusted separately, and it
will be protected even if the power goes off in memory
Press the knob about 6 seconds will reset the system

2 Volume adjustment (default: -110.75dB)
Volume up and down when the knob is turned right or left(default)
The volume range: -110.75dB~0dB (0.25dB/step@Gain=0)
3 Gain adjustment (default: 0dB)
Press the knob once and rotate it to “G” Indicator flashing, at this point,
SGA1 is in gain adjustment mode, press the knob again and rotate it to
adjust the gain value
Gain range of HPA: 0~+6dB (0.5dB/step)
Gain range of PRE: 0~+7dB (0.5dB/step)
4 Analog inputs(RCA/XLR) switching (default: RCA)
Press the knob once and rotate it to “IN” Indicator flashing, at this point,
SGA1 is in analog inputs switching mode; press the knob again and rotate
it to the “RCA icon” or “XLR icon” flashes; then press again and the analog
input setup is completed.

7 Mute analog output(HPA/PRE)
Press the knob once and SGA1 will be in silent mode
In silent mode, the “V” or “G” indicator will keep flashing and the screen
gradually darkens, then the screen goes out within about 40 seconds
5 HPA outputs(SE/BAL) switching (default: SE)
For specific operations, refer to 4—Analog inputs switching
6 PRE outputs(RCA/XLR) switching (default: RCA)

Q1: Are the PRE and HPA output at the same time?
A1: No. PRE and HPA have separate signal paths.
Q2: Are the HPA 4-pin and 4.4mm balanced output at the same time?
A2: Yes. But they can not be used at the same time.
Q3: Does SGA1 has a memory function?
A3: Yes. The state of each input and output as well as the corresponding
volume and gain values can be memorized.
Q4: How to adjust the volume quickly?
A4: When the SGA1 detection knob is turned rapidly, it will automatically enter
the mode of rapid volume adjustment, and when it is detected that the
knob is turned slowly, it will enter the mode of fine adjustment.
Q5: Is the gain continuously adjustable?
A5: Yes. Gain is adjusted by 0.5dB/step.
