Greetings from SPEAQUA Headquarters in San Diego, CA- and thank
you for purchasing e Barnacle PRO!
Built with purpose- our team has mindfully incorporated various rad
& unique features that we think you can all appreciate. We are sure you
will be able to gure out how to use this speaker without reading these
directions, but incase you get a bit lost, take a quick read.
Charging e Barnacle PRO is real easy. We have enclosed a USB charging cord, which
you can plug into a wall outlet or your computer. e battery is re-chargeable, and
allows for up to 8 hours of jamming.
•Wall outlet- you will need to nd a power cord with a micro USB or a USB AC
adapter. is includes the one typically used for your cell phone.
•Computer- simply plug the USB end of the cord into your computer.

BUTTON CONTROL
THE
POWER/MEMORY MODE
•Long press (3s) to turn on.
•Long press (3s) to power o.
•MEMORY MODE: while powered on tap once to switch to Memory Mode.
Tapping this button switches you between Bluetooth Mode (indicated by a
blue light) and memory mode (indicated by a green light). While in
Memory mode, double tap the power button to shue your music (indicat-
ed by a violet light).
CHARGING PORT/COMPUTER PLUG IN
•Insert micro USB data cable into here.
•Make sure the ap is always secured when using the speaker in water.
•Plug in here and connect to computer to drag and drop songs onto the
“Barnacle P” folder.
•Make sure to safely eject.
VOLUME DOWN
•Tap to increase volume.
•Hold to continuously increase volume.
VOLUME UP
•Tap to decrease volume.
•Hold to continuously decrease volume.
PLAY/PAUSE
•Tap to “Play/Pause” Music
•Long press (3s) to connect or disconnect
Bluetooth Mode.
•PHONE CALLS: tap to pick up or hang up
an incoming call. Long press (2s) to reject an
incoming call/return to your music.

-Bluetooth Mode automatically activates when powering
on e Barnacle PRO. Bluetooth Mode is indicated by a blinking blue light.
-To switch to Memory Mode simply tap the power button. Memory Mode is indicated
by a green light.While in memory mode tap the power button twice to shue your
music (indicated by a violet light).
Step 1. Enclosed in this package is a micro USB data cable. Begin by POWERING ON
e Barnacle PRO. Plugging the micro USB cord into the charging port of the speaker
and the USB side into your computer.
Step 2. A folder will then appear named “Barnacle P”. Drag and drop your music into
the “Barnacle P” folder. Add songs in the order you want them to play. To completely
remove songs from the device, drag them out of the folder into your computer’s trash
bin and empty the bin before ejecting.
Step 3. Disconnect by safely ejecting the USB from the computer.
MEMORY BUTTON CONFIGURATIONS
DOWNLOADING MUSIC ONTO THE DEVICE
Step 1. Make sure both PRO speakers are powered on and in close proximity to each other. Pick
one speaker to be the primary speaker. Let’s call that speaker, Speaker A.
Step 2. Bluetooth connect Speaker A to your smart device.
Step 3. Speaker B must be in Bluetooth pairing mode. Bluetooth pairing mode is inidctaed by a
blinking blue light. NOTE: To dissconnect your speaker from Bluetooth hold the “play/pause”
button for 3 seconds.

Step 4. i) Press and hold the “Next” button on Speaker A for 3 seconds to then enter dual
pairing mode. is will be indicated by a fast blinking blue light. ii) A sound notication will
then signal that both Speaker A and Speaker B have succesfully paired. NOTE: is may take
up to 30s.
WHILE PAIRED...
-If you turn o Speaker A, Speaker B will automatically turn o too.
-If you turn o Speaker B, Speaker A will continue to play.
-If you want to disconnect Speaker B, then hold down the “Play/Pause” Button to disconnect
from Pairng mode and enter back into Blutooth Mode.
HOW TO PAIR TWO SPEAKERS (WIRELESS DUAL PAIRING)

You guys should be frothing on Bluetooth technology. No wires, no worries. Our
Bluetooth range allows your device to be as far as 10 meters (33 feet) away.
Naturally, you will have to use a smart phone, tablet, or computer that has Bluetooth
capabilities.
1) Once you bring your Barnacle PRO to life, you will see a blinking blue light. is
light means you’re ready to connect.
2) You will then have to search the Bluetooth settings on your device for “Barnacle P”.
Select and connect- then you are cruising.
3) You should only have to do this once. As long as the speaker and your device have
Bluetooth turned on, they will automatically connect.
Note: in order to cut o the Bluetooth connection, give the play/pause button a couple
second hold down. ere will be a sound to notify you that the connection has been
disabled.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY: TURN ON & TUNE IN
HOW BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY WORKS?
As if you were not on your phone enough, we made it possible to take hands free calls
using e Barnacle PRO. We have found this to be real useful for not missing a call
while in the shower. We also encourage you to put down your cell phone while in the
car.
SPEAKERPHONE
HOW THE SPEAKERPHONE WORKS?
•When receiving a phone call, your music will be paused.
•Tap the Play/Pause button to both answer and hang up the call. If you just are not too
keen on answering that certain someone’s phone call, you can hold down the Play/
Pause button for 2 seconds and the call will be ignored.
•Once you hang up/dismiss the call, your song will resume.

What does IP68 mean?
IP stands for ingress protection. e IP system is a solid particle protection and water
protection grading system. e 1st number is solid particle protection, rated (0-6). e
2nd number is water protection, rated (0-8). We uphold the best rating of solid particle
protection (6). is means the speaker is fully dust proof. If you were to place the
speaker in a box of talcum powder and stir the powder around for up to eight hours-
the dust could not enter the speaker.
Like we said, e Barnacle PRO is a creature of the sea and we designed this creature
to endure any aquatic adventure. e Barnacle upholds the highest rating of water
protection (8)! - Capable of withstanding full water immersion.
•To be specic, a depth of one meters (3.3 feet) for up to 60 minutes.
Note: We encourage you to bring this speaker with you on all your adventures. Don’t
be afraid of some sand, mud, snow, or ocean water. For this reason, we have made the
speaker real easy to clean. Use fresh water and a so towel to wipe away dirt/dust.
