1. Note: Throughout the instruc-
tions, Left and Right are from
the character's point of view.
Attach the (B) Knee Poles to
the poles available on the (A)
Base using the available quick
connect push buttons and
pre-drilled holes as shown in
Figure 1.
2. Slide the (G) Shoes onto the
(B) Knee Poles and let them rest
on the (A) Base as shown in
Figure 2.
3. Attach the (C) Poles to the
(B) Knee Poles using the
available quick connect push
buttons and pre-drilled holes as
shown in Figure 3.
4. Slide the (H) Foam Tubes over
the (B, C) Poles as shown in
Figure 4.

5. Slip each pant leg of the (T)
Pants over the (H) Foam Tubes
as shown in Figure 5. Make sure
the (C) Poles emerge from the
top of the (T) Pants.
6. Attach the (D) Waist Frame
to the (C) Poles using the
available quick connect push
buttons and pre-drilled holes
as shown in Figure 6.
7. Bring the (T) Pants up over
the hoop available on the (D)
Waist Frame as shown in
Figure 7.
8. Attach the (E) Body Frame
to the (D) Waist Frame using
the available quick connect
push buttons and pre-drilled
holes as shown in Figure 8.

9. Slip the (S) Shirt onto the (E)
Body Frame so that the open-
ing of the (S) Shirt is facing the
back as shown in Figure 9.
10. Slide the (I) Left Arm up the
left sleeve of the (S) Shirt as
shown in Figure 10.
11. Set the forked hook of the (I)
Left Arm into the housing
available on the left side of the
(E) Body Frame as shown in
Figure 11.
12. Slide the forked hook of the
(J) Left Nozzle into the housing
available at the end of the (I)
Left Arm as shown in Figure 12.

13. Attach the corresponding
cables available from the (J)
Left Nozzle and (I) Left Arm.
Then slide the fog hose
available from the (I) Left Arm
onto the hole available on the
(J) Left Nozzle as shown in
Figure 13.
14. Slide the (K) Right Arm up
the right sleeve of the (S) Shirt
as shown in Figure 14.

(K) Right Arm into the housing
available on the right side of
the (E) Body Frame as shown
in Figure 15.
16. Set the forked hook of the
(L) Right Nozzle into the available
housing at the end of the (K)
Right Arm as shown in Figure 16.
17. Attach the corresponding
cables from the (L) Right
Nozzle and (K) Right Arm.
Then set the fog hose from the
(K) Right Arm into the hole
available on the (L) Right
Nozzle as shown in Figure 17.

18. Set the forked hook of the (M)
Head into the housing available
at the top of the (E) Body Frame
as shown in Figure 18.

19. Wrap the (R) Neck Ruffles
around the neck of the (M)
Head. Then tie the back of the
(R) Neck Ruffles to itself as
shown in Figure 19.

21. Connect all cables from the Function Control Box to their
corresponding cables by color and shape as shown in Figure 21.

22. Close the back of the (S) Shirt using the available hook and loop
closures as shown in Figure 22.
Nozzles the Clown is now complete. Plug in and turn on to let the fun
begin!

Follow steps 1 through 8 on the
installation instructions first,
then:
27. Connect the wire from the
optional Step Pad or Try Me Button
to the jack labeled “TRY ME” on the
Function Control Box as shown in
Figure 27.
28. Step on the Step Pad or Try
Me Button to activate the prop
as shown in Figure 28.

are sold separately and can be

29. This prop's sound can be
played through an external
speaker (sold separately). To use
this feature, follow steps 1
through 8 on the installation
instructions first, then: 1. Connect
the wire from your external
speaker to the jack labeled
“SPEAKER” on the Function
Control Box as shown in Figure 29.
30. Adjust the volume level to
your preference as shown in
Figure 30.
Note: Use external speakers with
an impedance of 8 ohms only.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
FOG MACHINE ADAPTER INSTRUCTION:
1. The infrared sensor distance and ambient temperature are directly related. When the body temperature (98.6° F) is different to the ambient
air temperature, the infrared sensor distance will be farther. When the body emperature (98.6° F) is close to the ambient air temperature, the
infrared sensor distance will be shorter.
2. Do not use this item in an environment where air currents are caused by a window, air conditioning, or air outlet.
3. Do not have the infrared sensor face a direct source of heat such as a heater.

• Use the (N) Fog Machine Adapter only with SVI 400 Watt Fog Machine (sold separately).
• Connect the 3-prong plug of the (N) Fog Machine Adapter into the jack at the back of the Fog Machine.
• Connect the power cord of the Fog Machine into a power outlet.
• Turn the power switch of the Fog Machine to the “ON” position.
• After the Fog Machine warms up (approx. 5 minutes), the light on the (N) Fog Machine Adapter will turn on.
• Press the “ON” switch, the fog machine will be ready to produce fog.
• Press the “OFF” switch, the fog machine will not produce fog.
• Be sure to follow all safety precautions included with the Fog Machine during operation.

Plug the long cord available
from the Function Control Box
into the (N) Fog Machine
Adapter. Then plug the (N) Fog
Machine Adapter into the fog
machine as shown in Figure 25.
Plug the fog machine into an AC
outlet and turn ON. Allow
several minutes for the fog
machine to preheat.
This item can also connect to an
optional fog machine (sold sepa-
rately). Follow Steps 1 through 22
on the installation instructions first,
then: Thread the (O) Long Fog
Hose down through the (T) Pants
and attach the (O) Long Fog Hose
to the (P) Moisture Trap Tank.
Then attach the (Q) Fog Hose to
the other side of the (P) Moisture
Trap Tank. Connect the cable
available from the Function Control
Box into the (N) Fog Machine
Adapter as shown in Figure 23.
Attach the other end of the (Q)
Fog Hose to the fog machine as
shown in Figure 24.
NOTE: If the connector does not
fit, remove the inner adapter
ring and re-connect to the
nozzle of Fog Machine.
The fog hose attachment is
compatible with 400 Watt
(SKU #00567230) and the 1,000
Watt (SKU #01027507) Fog
Machines. Fog Machines, Timers
(SKU #00190967), and Remotes
(SKU # 01104116) are sold
separately and can be purchased
in-store and online at

Care and Storage Instructions
For best performance operate your item indoors. When not in use, store this
product in its original packaging. Keep away from heat and moisture.
• Please use the transformer supplied by manufacturer.
• Please assemble item according to instructions. Connect all wires
according to matching color.
• Children should be supervised by adults. The item should not be grabbed, as it becomes a
tipping hazard. Keep all away from the transformer, as it heats up during operation.
Trouble Shooting Steps
• Be sure to assemble on a flat surface.
• Only use the power adapter that came with this item.
• Make sure all cables are connected securely before operation. NOTE that cables are
color-coded and could affect function if not connected correctly.

sponders to the prop by
inserting the wire of the tran-
sponder into the jack labeled
"TRY ME" on the Function
Control Box as shown in
Figure 31.
32. Flip the switch on the
transponder to the ON position.
Click the button on the
Multi-Prop Remote that
matches the letter on the
transponder to activate the
prop as shown in Figure 32.

33. Install 4 D Batteries into
the Spirit Battery Adapter as
shown in Figure 33.
34. Connect the wire from the
Spirit Battery Adapter to the
5.9V 2.0A adapter port on the
Function Control Box as shown
in Figure 34.
Turn the switch on Battery
Adapter to the ON position to
power the prop.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the Power Adapter into a standard power outlet and adjust the settings on the Function
Control Box to your liking.
2. Nozzles the Clown has 3 operation settings which can be found on the main Function Control Box
on the (E) Body Frame:
• Sensor: This switch mode will activate lights, sound, and animation when the Infra-red (IR) sensor is
activated and will operate for 1 audio-cycle with each activation. The Infra-red (IR) sensor has a range
of up to 2 m/6.5 ft. and will activate when someone comes within an 80-degree angle from
left-to-right, as well as from above and below.
• “ ” On: This switch mode will continuously operate the lights, sound, and animation of the item.
• “ ” Off/"Try Me": This switch mode allows the item to be activated only if triggered by using a
Step Pad or Try Me Button (Not included). The item will operate for one audio cycle with each Try Me
activation. Refer to Assembly Instructions in Step 8 for further details.
• “ ” Volume: Raise or lower the volume using the volume control turn dial, turn all the way
down to turn the volume off.

Battery installation should be performed by an adult.
• Use only batteries recommended in the instructions.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, rechargeable, standard,
or different types of batteries.
• Be mindful to insert batteries with correct polarity as indicated.
• Remove all exhausted batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from prop
before being charged.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• This product is designed for indoor or covered porch
use only and should not be placed outdoors
subject to the weather.
• This item is not a toy. For decoration only.
• Choking hazard due to small parts.
• Keep all plastic and wire parts away from children.

by children ages 14 and under.

PACKING PROCESS

1. Note: Throughout the packing
process, left and right are from your
point of view.
Set the rectangular cardboard piece
into the box so that the side with
the holes and openings are aimed to
the right and the other side makes
complete contact with the left side
of the box. Set the (A) Base into the
box so that it makes contact with
the back wall and so that the poles
on the (A) Base are closer to the left
side of the box as shown in Figure 1.
2. Set the smaller rectangular
cardboard piece into the box so that
holes and openings are aimed
toward the left, but the right side
has complete contact with the right
wall of the box. Set the bottom of
the (E) Body Frame into the hole
available in the larger rectangular
cardboard piece and then the top of
the (E) Body Frame should fit nicely
into the smaller cardboard rectan-
gle. Make sure the Function Control
Box is aimed towards the back of
the box as shown in Figure 2.
3. Wrap the (B, C) Poles into the
available plastic bag and set
them into the box with one end
wedged into the back right
corner at the bottom of the box
and the other end with the bent
portion going towards the back
left corner at the top of the box
as shown in Figure 3.
4. Set the (M) Head into the large
rectangular cardboard piece with
the face aiming up as shown in
Figure 4.

5. Place the (F) Adapter into its box
and set it right next to the (M) Head.
Place the (N) Fog Machine Adapter,
(O) Long Fog Hose, (P) Moisture Trap
Tank, and (Q) Fog Hose into their
available plastic bag and place them
into the large cardboard rectangle
towards the front left corner of the
box as shown in Figure 5.
6. Place the (R) Neck Ruffles, (S)
Shirt, and (T) Pants into their
plastic bag and place it on top of
the (E) Body Frame in the box as
shown in Figure 6.
7. Place the (D) Waist Frame into
the box over the (R, S, T) Costume
Bag so that the leg poles of the (D)
Waist Frame aim towards the
bottom of the box as shown in
Figure 7.

9. Stack the (G) Shoes onto each
other and then flip upside down
and place the ankle area of the (G)
Shoes downward into the back
right area of the box with the rest
of the (G) Shoe aimed towards the
front as shown in Figure 9.
10. Place the (J, L) Nozzles into the
(G) Shoes as shown in Figure 10.
11. Place the (H) Foam Tubes into
the box so that one end is at the
front right corner at the top of the
box, the middle area is bent at the
back right of the box, and the
other end is going towards the
left side of the box as shown in
Figure 11.
8. Place the (I, K) Arms into the
box so that one end is at the front
right corner at the bottom of the
box and the other end is at the
front left corner at the top of the
box as shown in Figure 8.

packed. Close the box and store
in a dry location away from heat
