Introduction
This manual contains important information concerning the proper use and care of your Soccer
Tutor. Please read completely before operating your Soccer Tutor.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS
DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF BALL EJECTION AREA.
DO NOT INSERT HANDS OR FOREIGN OBJECTS INTO THE MACHINE.
DO NOT OPERATE WHEN WET.
CAUTION
Use age-appropriate soccer balls.
Do not use wet or heavy balls.
Do not practice headers for extended periods of time and
further limit time which younger players practice headers.

Battery Charging - “Smart” battery charger included.
The Smart battery charger should be connected to the Soccer Tutor/Pro Trainer
immediately after each use and allowed to charge the battery continuously when the
Soccer Tutor is not in use. The Smart Charger will shut off when charging is complete,
so there is no possibility of overcharging. The LED light on the charger will change from
RED (charging) to GREEN when the battery is fully charged. It will typically require 12-18
hours to fully charge the battery. See additional instruction with the Smart charger.
Automatic Low Battery Shut-off
Soccer Tutor will automatically shut-off when the battery needs to be recharged. The Battery
Charge Indicator will blink red when Soccer Tutor has automatically shut-off. You should
turn the Power switch off immediately and recharge the battery as soon as possible. DO NOT
ALLOW THE BATTERY TO COMPLETE DISCHARGE AS IT CAN PREVENT IT’S
ABILITY TO RECHARGE.
Setting Ball Trajectory
Loosen the trajectory knob (large knob to left of control panel near throwing wheels) by
turning it several turns counter-clockwise. Brace the machine with one hand and move the
trajectory knob with your other hand. Move the knob up to increase the trajectory and down
to decrease the trajectory. When the throwing wheels are at the desired angle, tighten the
knob firmly against the machine by turning clockwise.
Feeding balls into Soccer Tutor
Gold Model - Place soccer balls one at a time on the back half of the ball track and let them
roll down to the throwing wheels. Do not place balls directly into the throwing wheels.
Pro Trainer Model - Fold back extended ball track into place behind machine. Place up to
five soccer balls behind the ball feeding disk. Do not place soccer balls in front of the ball
feeding disk or directly into the throwing wheels.
Consistency
For consistent throws inflate all soccer balls to the same pressure. Firmer soccer balls will
be thrown farther than less inflated soccer balls.
Transporting Soccer Tutor
Soccer Tutor has a built-in towing handle at the back of the machine. When lifting Soccer
Tutor always grab the handle and the front part of the frame for a two-hand lift. Do not lift
Soccer Tutor by the throwing wheels.

POWER SWITCH - Make sure no balls
are between throwing wheels before
turning ‘ON’.
SPEED - Turning clockwise, from ‘1’ to
‘10’, increases the speed at which balls
are thrown.
BATTERY CHARGE JACK - Plug the
battery charger into this jack and a live
AC outlet to charge the battery.
BATTERY INDICATOR - This will
illuminate when the battery charger is
plugged into the Battery Charge Jack.
It will change in color from red when the battery is discharged, to green when the battery
is fully charged. It will also blink red when the machine has automatically shut down.
The LED on the Smart charger will indicate when the battery is fully charged.
RESET BUTTON - See the section ‘Reset Button’ below.
INTERVAL - (Pro Trainer Model only). Adjust the automatic ball feed to set the ball
throw interval anywhere between five (MORE OFTEN) and 30 seconds (LESS OFTEN).
Reset Button
The Reset Button may pop out for the following reasons:
1) A ball has jammed in the machine. Remove the ball before resetting the button.
2) The ball throwing wheels are excessively dirty. This prevents the wheels from properly
grabbing the ball and requires more power from the machine. Clean the ball throwing
wheels with sandpaper while the machine is off to remove any dirt build-up.
3) The machine may need service. Do not repeatedly push the reset button if it continues to pop
out.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage
Soccer Tutor requires no regular maintenance other than routine cleaning. Use a slightly damp
cloth to clean. Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleansers. Store in a clean dry place.

Soccer Tutor Limited Warranty
Warranty period
Sports Tutor, Inc. warrants Soccer Tutor for a period of three years from the date of original purchase.
Scope of warranty
This warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship. The following are not covered by the warranty:
1. Units on which the serial number has been deleted, modified or removed.
2. Units damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow
instructions contained in the owner’s manual.
3. Units damaged by repair by anyone not authorized by Sports Tutor.
4. Units damaged during shipment (claims must be presented to shipper).
Who is protected
This warranty protects the original purchaser and any subsequent owner(s) during the warranty period, so long
as the Soccer Tutor was purchased in the United States and a copy of the original bill of sale is submitted
whenever warranty service is required.
What Sports Tutor will pay for
Sports Tutor will pay for all labor and materials to repair a warrantable defect. Sports Tutor will also pay for
shipping charges to return your Soccer Tutor to you.
How to obtain warranty service
Call or write Sports Tutor, Inc. Deliver the unit POSTAGE PREPAID to Sports Tutor. Include your name,
address, daytime phone number, copy of original bill of sale, and a brief description of the problem.
Limitation of implied warranties
All implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability are limited in duration to
the length of this warranty. We neither assume nor authorize any representative or other person to assume for
us any other liability in connection with the sale or shipment of our products.
Limitation of incidental or consequential damages
Sports Tutor is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind. Our liability is limi-
ted to the repair or replacement, at our option, of a defective product. Some states do not allow limitations on
how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages so
the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you
may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
