PREFACE
This durable product is a high-definition recording device used to
capture extreme activities from Skydiving to Surfing.
SportzCam4k has a variety of industry leading features including
digital video recording, audio recording, and various photo
shooting modes. The sky’s the limit. You name it, it will film it!
Enjoy your journey as you Capture, Record, and Relive.
WARNING
Product is not waterproof outside of case. Treat with care outside
of protective casing. Keep away from sand/dirty areas when not
in protective casing. If battery is removed and re-seated, the
customized “DATE AND TIME” feature may reset back to the
factory default date. Image and Video Files are named using the
camera’s “DATE AND TIME” and sorted and viewed in
chronological order, therefore, the files within “PREVIEW MEDIA
MODE” could be out of order when viewing if the proper “DATE
AND TIME” is not set.

QUICK BUTTON GUIDE
●“Select” button allows you to 1) select, 2) take
pictures, 3) start/stop recording videos.
●“UP” button: navigate up and Enter Preview Mode.
●“DOWN” button: navigate down AND activate
WIFI.
●“POWER/MODE” button allows you to 1) turn
camera ON/OFF, 2) navigate through
SportzCam4k modes, and 3) act as your “BACK”
button when navigating menu.
NOTE: Holding down the “POWER/MODE” button for 2
seconds will allow you to turn camera ON/OFF. Once ON,
the “POWER/MODE” button will allow you to navigate
through one of the five SportzCam4k Modes.

SPORTZCAM4K MODES
1) Video Mode: The screen with the icon in the
upper left hand corner means you are ready to start
recording your video by pressing the “Select” button.
You have begun recording when the camera icon turns
red.
2) Picture Mode: The screen with the icon in the
upper left hand corner means you are ready to take a
picture by pressing the “Select” button. To know you
have successfully taken a picture, the screen will go
black for a brief moment and make a shutter sound.
3) Burst Photo Mode: The screen with the icon in
the upper left hand corner means you are ready to take
“burst photos”. This means when pressing the “OK’
button it will take 3 photos at once
4) Time Lapse Mode: The screen with the icon in
the upper left hand corner means that you are now

ready to take a picture every set number of seconds. To
decide how many seconds are in between every photo
go to the Settings Menu and find the Time Lapse
setting.
5) Settings Mode: The screen will indicate with the
icon. Once the “Select” button is pressed the icon will
appear in the upper left hand corner and will allow you
to use the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to navigate
through all Setup Options. Press the “Select” button to
select, and the “MODE” button to go back.
6) Preview Mode: Press “UP” button when not in Settings
Mode to enter this mode. Press “Select” button on the
icon to preview recorded video on MicroSD card.
Press “Select” button on the icon to preview photos
on MicroSD card. Press “UP” again to exit Preview
mode.

Video Resolution: Ability to choose between different
resolutions and frame rates.
OPTIONS:
“720P (60FPS)”
“720P (120FPS)”

Looping Video: When Active Camera will continue
recording even when SD card is full. It will delete the
oldest video first to make room for new footage.
OPTIONS: “On” “Off”
NOTE: “On” option is not available for 2K and 4K
resolutions. When “On” the video will record at 1 min 40
second intervals instead of the default 2 minutes.
Time Stamp: Having [ON] will post the date/time onto
every file for user’s reference. Having [OFF] will hide
date/time and will not attach it to display.

Exposure: A photograph's exposure determines how light
or dark an image will appear when it's been captured by
your SportzCam4k.
OPTIONS:
“-2.0” “-1.7” “-1.3” “-1.0” “-0.7“ “-0.3” “0.0” “+0.3” “+0.7”
“+1.0” “+1.3” “+1.7” “+2.0”
NOTE: “-2.0” will help you capture image detail for very
bright environments. “+2.0” will help you capture detail in
dark environments.

Photo Resolution: Image resolution refers to how many
pixels are captured in an image. The higher the amount of
pixels, the more detail your picture will have.

“12MP WIDE (4608 x 2592)” (default setting)
“8MP WIDE (3760 x 2120)”
“5MP WIDE (2976 x 1672)”
“4MP WIDE (2648 x 1504)”

Burst Photo: Ability to capture several photos in quick
succession. This feature is great for capturing each step of
an action scene.
OPTIONS: “ON 3Photos”(default)
BURST NOTE: Moving camera during burst shots may
cause pictures to blur. For best results, hold camera still
until burst mode has completed.

Time Lapse: While in Time Lapse Mode, allows camera to
take pictures at 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, or 60 second Delay.
This feature is recommended for taking the perfect “selfie”.
OPTIONS:
“2s”“3s” “5s” “10s” “20s” “30s” “60s”
NOTE: The actual time spacing between the Time-Lapse
pictures may not be exactly 2 seconds or 10 seconds. It is
an approximate timing controlled by camera chipset.
Continuous Lapse: While in Time Lapse mode, allows
you when “ON” to take multiple photos without having to
touch the camera. When OFF the camera requires the
“Select” button to be pressed again to take another timed
photo. The delay time is indicated in the Time Lapse
Setting.

Power Frequency: Frequency is usually measured in
Hertz(Hz). 1 Hz is 1 cycle per second, 50 Hz is 50 cycles
per second, 60 Hz is 60 cycles per second.
OPTIONS: “50Hz” “60Hz” “Auto”
NOTE: “50Hz” will run slightly slower than “60Hz” but will
save more battery and also help camera to not overheat.
Language Options: Changes all words within camera
settings to fit your preferred language

Date & Time: Set the current date and time format.

“Select” button. To change selected item press either the
“UP” or “DOWN” buttons located on the side. To exit this
feature, press the “POWER/MODE” button.

Sound Indicator: Ability to turn on and off various sounds
the SportzCam4k will make.
OPTIONS:
Shutter: “OFF” “ON” (Makes a shutter sound when in
Photo Mode, Burst Mode, Or Time Lapse Mode)
Startup: “Off” “1” “2” “3” (Various sounds when turning on
the SportzCam4k)
Beep: “ON” “OFF” (Sound while navigating through the
SportzCam4k features)
Volume: “0” “1” “2” “3” (Adjust how loud the sounds will be)
NOTE: The “Select” Button will change the options. The
“UP” and “DOWN” buttons will cycle between the
settings. The “POWER/MODE” button will exit back to
Settings menu.
