PREFACE
This durable product is a high-definition recording device used to
capture extreme activities from Skydiving to Surfing. SportZcam
has a variety of industry leading features including digital video
recording, audio recording, and various photo shooting modes.
The sky’s the limit. You name it, it will film it! Enjoy your journey
as you Capture, Record, and Relive.
WARNING
Product is not waterproof outside of case. Treat with care outside
of protective casing. Keep away from sand/dirty areas when not
in protective casing. If battery is removed and re-seated, the
customized “DATE AND TIME” feature may reset back to the
factory default date. Image and Video Files are named using the
camera’s “DATE AND TIME” and sorted and viewed in
chronological order, therefore, the files within “PREVIEW MEDIA
MODE” could be out of order when viewing if the proper “DATE
AND TIME” is not set.

QUICK BUTTON GUIDE
●“OK” button allows you to 1) select, 2) take
pictures, 3) start/stop recording videos.
●“UP” button allows you to navigate up AND
activate WIFI.
●“DOWN” button allows you to navigate down.
●“POWER/MODE” button allows you to 1) turn
camera ON/OFF, 2) navigate through SportZcam
modes, and 3) act as your “BACK” button when
navigating menu.
NOTE: Holding down the “POWER/MODE” button for 3
seconds will allow you to turn camera ON/OFF. Once ON,
the “POWER/MODE” button will allow you to navigate
through one of the four SportZcam Modes.

SPORTZCAM MODES
1) Video Mode: The screen with the icon in the upper
left hand corner means you are ready to start recording
your video by pressing the “OK” button. You have begun
recording when a red flashing dot appears.
2) Picture Mode: The screen with the icon in the
upper left hand corner means you are ready to take a
picture by pressing the “OK” button. To know you have
successfully taken a picture, the screen will go black for
1 second and make a shutter sound.
3) Preview Media Mode: The screen with the icon in
the upper left hand corner means that you are now
ready to preview the Pictures or Videos you have taken.
To navigate through different Pictures and Videos, use
the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons located on the side of the
camera.

4) SportZcam Setup Menu: The screen with the icon
in the upper left hand corner will allow you to use the
“UP” and “DOWN” buttons to navigate through all 32
Setup Options included on a total of 8 pages. Page
numbers are indicated on the lower right hand corner of
the screen. Press the “OK” button to select, and the
“MODE” button to go back.
NOTE: Light blue highlighted bar is what you currently have
selected.

DELETE FILE
OPTIONS:
“Delete This File?” → Deletes the SINGLE file that you are
currently viewing.
“Delete All Files?” → Deletes ALL the files within your
current Preview Media Mode.
NOTE: You cannot recover files once deleted. Make sure
you export the files you want to keep BEFORE deleting. If
in “Video(mov.)” mode, selecting the option “delete all files”
will only delete all files within “Video(mov.)” mode and will
not affect your files within “Picture(jpeg.)” mode. Vice
versa.

PREVIEW MEDIA MODE: Ability to navigate between
viewing “Video(mov.)” files and “Picture(jpeg.)” files.
OPTIONS: “Video(mov.)” “Picture(jpeg.)”
NOTE: When in “Picture(jpeg.)” Mode you will not be able
to view your “Video(mov.)” files. Vice versa. Make sure you
have the proper “Preview Media Mode” selected.
ROTATE: When [ON] you will simply have the ability to
film right side up when the camera is upside down.
OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON”
NOTE: Once you start recording, video will lock and no
longer rotate.

PICTURE TIMER: Ability to take a self-timed shot with
your choice of 2, 5, or 10 second timer. This feature is
recommend for taking the perfect “selfie”.
OPTIONS:
“OFF” (default setting)
“2 Sec”
“5 Sec”
“10 Sec”
NOTE: When using “Picture Timer” mode, “Burst” Mode
will automatically set to off. “Picture Timer” and “Burst”
mode cannot be used simultaneously.

BURST: Ability to capture several photos in quick
succession. You can choose from your choice of 3, 5, or
10 burst shots. This feature is great for capturing each
step of an action scene.
OPTIONS:
“OFF” (default setting)
“3 Burst”
“5 Burst”
“10 Burst”
NOTE: Moving camera during burst shots may cause
pictures to blur. For best results, hold camera still until
burst mode has completed the selected succession. When
using “Picture Timer” mode, “Burst” Mode will
automatically set to off. “Picture Timer” and “Burst” mode
cannot be used simultaneously.

CAR MODE or “Dash Cam”: Setting Car Mode to [ON]
enables SportZcam to automatically turn on and start
recording when plugged into power. Therefore, when
camera is plugged into your car, it will automatically start
when car is turned on and automatically stop when car is
turned off.
OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON”
DATE STAMP: Having [ON] will post the date/time onto
every file for user’s reference. Having [OFF] will hide
date/time and will not attach it to display.
OPTIONS: “OFF” “ON” (default setting)

MOVIE SIZE: Ability to choose between FHD and HD.
OPTIONS:
“FHD 1080P (30FPS)” (default setting)
“HD 720P (30FPS)”
NOTE: Full High Definition (FHD) will allow you to film in
1080P. High Definition (HD) will allow you to film in 720P.
If you want better quality pictures and videos we
recommend FHD which will take up more storage. If you
want to save more storage on your memory card we
recommend that you switch to HD, which will allow you to
take more pictures and videos with the sacrifice of lower
quality

SEAMLESS: While recording, camera will automatically
save recorded files every 1, 3, or 5 minutes and will
continue to record on a new file. Can be convenient for
breaking up long videos.

HDR: (HDR) High Dynamic Range refers to capturing a
scene that includes both bright and dark elements -- the
sun, reflecting off water, with deep shadows in the tree
lines, or even a regularly lit person standing against the
glare of an open window.
OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON”
NOTE: HDR is supposed to make pictures look better but
it depends on when you use it. For best results use in
scenes such as the ones listed above.
RECORD AUDIO: Ability to choose whether you want to
record audio on your Video files or not.
OPTIONS: “OFF” “ON” (default setting)

MOTION DETECTION: When this feature is [ON], the
camera will begin to record automatically once motion is
detected. SportZcam will automatically stop recording
when no motion is detected for a period of 5 seconds.
SportZcam must be powered on and in “Video Mode”.
Feature is used and promoted for home security.
OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON”
NOTE: If used as Home Security, device will not alert
homeowner of a break in but will secretly save any type of
motion the SportZcam detects.
