Kicker Ampliers are covered by a limited 2 year warranty against defects in material or workmanship. Labor for
replacement of defective components is not covered. Contact SSV Works for further warranty information.

For ease of installation, we recommend removing the Stage 1 kick panel 6.5” speaker pods from the vehicle prior to installing the
WC3-SP82K. If you do not have the 6.5” speaker pods installed in your vehicle, skip to Step D.
- #2 Phillips screwdriver - Wire cutters
C. Pull inner fender forward to expose F65 harness and (2) remaining
T30 torx screws that mount the pod (circled in pink). Compress
release tab to connector and disconnect harness. Remove the (2)
T30 screws retaining the pod. When removing the remaining (2) T30
screws from the pod, be sure to have an extra hand on the pod to
avoid damage.
B. From beneath the passenger side fender, remove (4) T30 screws and
T25 screws highlighted above.

E. Turn locking pin to battery cover found above center console and
remove battery cover. Disconnect negative and positive cables from
battery,
D. Remove (2) T30 screws from the topside of the inner passenger fender.
Once the inner fender is unfastened, removed the inner fender.

A. From underneath passenger side fender remove (8) T-30 screws as
shown on the pictures. (Repeat on opposite side)
Stage 1 Kick Panel 6.5” speaker pod

F. Remove the (6) T25 screws securing the grab handle to the vehicle.
Separate the two halves of the grab handle and remove handle.
Remove the (4) T30 screws from the driver and passenger front of
the center console.
G. Remove the (1) T30 screw from the driver and passenger side on
the rear of the center console.

H. Unscrew and remove shift knob. I. Once fasteners and shift knob have been removed, lift and remove
center console

K. Roll the pod into place so that Bracket A will sit behind the factory
mounting tab.
J. Remove the (2) T30 torque screws circled in pink. Note: the mounting
tab circled in yellow is your 3rd mounting point for Bracket A

K. Using the provided T30 torx screws and washers, mount the
brackets to the enclosure.
I. Refer to the image above for proper bracket orientation.

J. Highlighted in pink are the bracket mounting points for the pod. Bracket
for mounting point 3 is for the directional driver/passenger bracket. The
bracket used is designated with a D driver or P passenger .

Q. Using a T25 torx key and 8mm wrench, unfasten the MRB3 brain
from the vehicle. (Access to the 8mm nut can be found inside the
glovebox.) Once unfastened, disconnect the MRB3 brain to allow for
it to be mounted to the kit provided amp tray.
P. Remove (4) T30 screws that secure the coolant reservoir tank
to the vehicle. Place factory tool kit into glove box. The coolant
reservoir tank / tool kit mounting bracket will not be reused.

M. Use an 8mm socket with extension or nut driver to fasten provided
8mm screw and large washer through the factory mounting tab and
into Bracket A.
L. To hold the enclosure in place, screw in a factory T30 screw. Do not
tighten screw.
N. Use 8mm wrench SSV provided 8mm screw and standard washer,
fasten through Bracket B into chassis. Either or To fasten 8mm
screw and standard washer through Bracket B, use 8mm wrench.
Once each bracket has a screw threaded, tighten down each screw.

O. Hold the pod into place and fasten the (2) T30 screws back into the
pod that were removed in Step C. Route speaker cable back into dash
cavity. Reconnect the harness. Route speaker wire to sub enclosures,
avoid any moving or rotating parts. Reassemble vehicle

V. Put the amp tray into place. Hand thread (2) of the factory T30 Screws
into amp tray for alignment

S. Align the MRB3 brain on the mounting bosses. Fasten the MRB3
brain to the tray with the provided M5 Phillips screws. Then
connect MRB3 Brain “LINE OUT Ext. amp trigger” to Kicker Amp
500.1 input.
U. Route B-H1942 24” audio extension cable to the passenger sub
encloser. Route B-H1389 69” audio extension cable to the driver
side sub encloser. Connect each extension cable to corresponding
sub encloser.

R. Locate the (4) mounting bosses on the backside of the SSV Works
amp tray.
T. Route amp power cable down the center of the vehicle. Begin from the front
of the vehicle and lead the ring terminal-end of the cable to the battery.

W. Using a scribe, mark the hole of the lower mounting tab into the
plastic. Once marked, remove the loaded amp tray and drill a ¼”
hole through the mark.
Z. Connect audio extension cables to the output of the Kicker 500.1 .
Y. Connect the power cable to the Kicker 500.1.

X. Re-install the loaded amp tray, fasten the lower mounting tab with
provided (1) T30 screw, (2) large washers and (1) 10mm lock-nut.
(Access to the bottom of the screw can be found in the passenger foot-
well). With the amp tray installed, re-fasten the coolant reservoir to the
vehicle with factory hardware

CONNECTING POWER & GROUND CABLE TO BATTERY

A1. Remove the bottom cover of the fuse holder
by extracting the 2 screws. Break off the right
and left side tabs on the bottom cover.
A2. Extract both fuse holder screws. A3. Attach both the Power Wire and Battery
Terminal Cable to the fuse holder. Reattach
the bottom cover.

F2. Re-connect the power/ground
wire.
F3. Re-connect the antenna. Route
the antenna wire under dash.
F1.Re-connect the MRB3 controller
to the brain.
B1. Install the ground cables to the screw on the ground battery terminal.
Re-install the factory nut. Do the same for the positive terminal and
cables.
C1. Remove the top of the fuse holder and extract the 2 screws. Insert the
40A fuse, screw the 2 screws back in and reattach the fuse holder top.
D1. Zip tie all of the electrical cabling (factory and audio) along the center
column away from the drive shaft.
E1. Re-connect the front speaker harness to the MRB3 Front Speaker
Output.
