1.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Warning! If the pan has been damaged during transport, it must not be connected!
•
Incorrect operation and improper use can cause serious damage or injury.
•
The appliance can be used only for its intended purpose.
•
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage caused by incorrect operation and
improper use.
•
In use, protect the unit and the power plug against contact with water or other liquids. In
the event that the appliance is accidentally dropped into or flooded with water,
immediately pull the plug from the outlet, and have the appliance checked by a specialist.
Failure to observe these instructions may result in life-threatening situations.
•
Never open the casing of the appliance on your own.
•
Do not insert any objects into the openings in the unit.
•
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
•
Regularly check the plug and power cord. If the plug or the power cord is damaged, have it
repaired by a repair service.
•
If the appliance is dropped or damaged in any other way, have it checked and repaired
as necessary at a specialized service point before further use.
•
Never repair the appliance yourself - may cause a death hazard.
•
It is forbidden to make modifications and repairs by persons not trained professionally.
•
Keep the cord away from sharp or hot objects, as well as from sources of fire. If you
want to disconnect the appliance from the power outlet, grab and pull the plug, never
pull the power cord.
•
Protect the power cord (or extension cord) so that no one pulls the power outlet
accidentally or trips over it.
•
If the power cord is damaged it should be replaced. The non-detachable power cord can
be replaced in a specialized repair shop or by a qualified person.
•
Control the functioning of the appliance when in use.
•
It is forbidden to use the machine by minors, physically or mentally disabled persons and
handicapped in terms of mobility, as well as those without experience and knowledge of the
proper use of the appliance. Such persons may operate the appliance only under the
supervision of a person responsible for safety.
•
If the appliance is not currently used or is being cleaned, always unplug it from the power
source by pulling the plug from the jack.
•
WARNING: If the power cord is plugged into a power outlet, the unit still remains energized.
•
Is not allowed to turn on the appliance when the bowl is empty or to pour water
when the contents of the bowl are hot, as this will cause irreparable and sudden
damage to the bottom of the bowl.
•
Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug out of the socket.
•
Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
•
Once installed, the appliance must be visible and easily accessible.
•
Ensure easy access to disable the non-detachable plug of the power cord.

Tilting electric frying pan of the 700 line, model 974000 is designed for professional use in catering
outlets, bars, restaurants, etc. The appliance is intended for frying, boiling and roasting meat and
fish, and for the preparation of sauces.
The pan should not be operated in a manner that is not provided for in the user manual.

3.CHARACTERISTICS OF DESIGN
The housing is made of stainless steel. The working surface of the appliance is mounted on a
frame with four legs, which can be used to level the pan. Leveling is possible within a range of
±20 mm.
The main elements of the appliance are: bowl made of stainless steel and 6 heating elements, each
with a capacity of 1800W.
On the front of the appliance there is a control panel, with a temperature controller, safety
thermostat and indicator lights. The crank mounted on the edge of the bowl is used for tipping
the bowl. Moreover, the bowl has a lid installed on hinges, which can be lifted using the handle
attached to it.
4.INSTALLATION
•
The pan should be placed on a stable surface indoors while power supply is out. Then it must
be leveled using the adjustable feet.
•
The pan should be set in such a way as to allow access, at least from the front. Behind the
appliance there should be a wall made of non-combustible materials.
•
The distance between the back of the unit and the wall made of non-combustible materials
should be at least 30 cm.
•
However, in the case where the wall is made of combustible materials (e.g. wood), the
distance should not be less than 60 cm.
•
The frying pan is fitted with a flexible power cable with a cross-section 5x2.5 mm
(without plug). Appropriate plug should be installed by a qualified electrician.

The appliance may be connected to the mains only by a person with electrical
qualifications.
•
The appliance should be connected to a three-phase electrical supply 400V 50Hz with
an earth fault breaker 1^n=30mA.
•
The power outlet should have an up-to-date readings related to electric shock protection.
NOTE!

5.SAFETY RULES
In order to prevent burns and electrocution, observe the following safety rules:
•
train staff in the use of the appliance according to the information contained herein
•
train staff in the basic principles of using electrical equipment, safety at work and first aid
in case of need
•
make sure that the lid of the bowl is closed before switching the appliance on
•
before starting any maintenance work, disconnect the appliance from the power source
•
it is not allowed to turn on the appliance, if any heating element and/or control element is
damaged
•
It is not allowed to turn on the appliance when the bowl is empty or to pour water when the
contents of the bowl are hot, as this will cause irreparable and sudden damage to the bottom
of the bowl.
•
the appliance should not be washed under running water
•
any appliance repairs may be performed only by qualified technical personnel (technical
service).
6.OPERATION
•
Before first use, remove the protective film from the appliance. Wash interior and exterior
surfaces with warm water and a degreasing agent, which is used for washing kitchen utensils.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or others that could scratch the surface. Only use a damp cloth
for cleaning. After cleaning, leave it to dry completely, then connect to the mains.
•
It is very important to carry out the process of "burning" the pan during first use. This
should be done as follows (the first time you connect the appliance):
−
put the appropriate amount of fat in the bowl;
−
set the temperature knob to 200°C (the light going out will signal that the
bowl has reached this temperature)
−
when the light goes out, wait approx. 15 min, and then you are ready for
work.
•
Be sure to close the lid of the bowl while the pan warms up.
•
While frying, control the temperature of the bowl using the temperature
controller (to prevent burning or undercooking the food).
•
On subsequent uses, before operating the appliance, insert the appropriate amount of fat in
the bowl and select the desired temperature. Fitted with a temperature controller, the
appliance allows reducing or increasing the temperature in the range of 50 to 300°C. The
appliance is also equipped with a temperature limiter set at 350°C to protect the bowl from
overheating, which may happen in the event of a temperature controller failure.
•
The green light indicates connection to the network, appliance operation. While the
appliance is warming up to the preset temperature, the orange indicator light is
illuminated. When the appliance reaches the desired temperature, the orange

indicator light goes out and the green light is illuminated - indicates the appliance is
connected to the power supply. If you switch off the appliance, the green light goes out.
•
Turn the appliance off before removing the products from the bowl.
•
In order to remove the residual liquid from the bowl, use a crank to tilt the bowl and pour
its contents, once cool, into the previously prepared tank.
•

To rotate the bowl of the pan, unfold the crank and then rotate it to tilt the bowl to the
desired position.
NOTE!
Using this appliance as a deep fryer is prohibited. This may cause a fire.
Do not move the appliance when the power cord is plugged into an outlet, the
temperature of the bowl's working surface is above 40°C, or when there is anything
inside the bowl.
7.MAINTENANCE
Before starting any maintenance work, disconnect the appliance from the power source.
Daily maintenance involves emptying the bowl and washing it with a cloth dampened in
water with a dishwashing liquid and then wiping with a dry cloth.

Once a month, check that:
•
electrical connections are made correctly
•
the power cord is not damaged
•
all components of the appliance are working properly.
Once a year, the unit should be serviced in order to check the degree of wear and detect any
possible defects of components and parts. If any damage is detected, qualified technical staff
(technical service) is required to remove it. Technical service should pay particular attention to:
•
the condition of the heating elements
•
the condition of the heating element safeguards
•
the degree of wear and tear on equipment
•
quality of insulation
If the lid of the bowl drops down (does not stop at a user-selected point of inclination), notify the
maintenance service.
Maintenance performed on a monthly basis, annual maintenance and repair of equipment may
only be carried out by qualified personnel (technical service).
8.PACKING, LOADING AND TRANSPORT
The electric frying pan is packed in accordance with applicable standards. Loading the pan for
transport, unloading and moving should be done with suitable lifting mechanisms. Transport should
be done with the use of covered means of transport. During transport, the electric pan should be
secured against movement, strong shocks and other mechanical
damage.

11. DISPOSAL OF USED EQUIPMENT
At the end of equipment use, or upon buying a new one from Stalgast, you can give away the old
appliance.
Send in your used product to us and a specialized company will dispose of it under the Act
on waste electrical and electronic equipment (Dz. U. 2005 No. 180 item 1495)
12. WARRANTY
The seller is responsible under the warranty or guarantee.
Damage resulting from the formation of calcium sediments in the appliance are not subject to the
warranty.
Warranty replacement shall not cover such elements as light bulbs, rubber parts, heating
elements damaged by limescale, screws and components subject to wear and tear, e.g.: torches,
rubber seals and all kinds of mechanically damaged components. Also any components damaged
due to improper use.
Loss of warranty occurs automatically as a result of breaking the warranty seal or making repairs on
your own.
