Introduction
We are pleased you decided to invest in this superior product manufactured
in Germany. Its easy operation and the multitude of possible applications
will certainly fill you, too, with enthusiasm. To ensure your hot tray will stay
fully functional for a long time, please read the following notes carefully and
observe them.
Initial Use & Operating Instructions in General
The appliance has a high-quality glass surface. Please be sure to place
kitchenware carefully onto the plate and not to slide it on. Hard china may
cause scratches.
• The preheating time should be at least 15-20 minutes.
• For maximum eectiveness it is sensible for the hot food to be placed in
containers which have been preheated already. For this purpose, place the
heat-resistant containers and trays on the cold hot tray and turn it on.
• Ensure not to expose the glass to any excessively heavy temperature
fluctuations. Therefore, put containers with hot foods only on the preheated
appliance.
• Use kitchenware with bottoms resting well on the surface; the bigger the
surface, the better the heat transfer. The bottom edge to be placed on
should not be too high, as this will otherwise induce more considerable heat
losses. Covering the food allows for it to be kept warm yet more eiciently.
• Larger quantities of food in a high container should be stirred and re-
shifted time and again in order for the food to be kept warm evenly.
• The appliance is not suited for warming up, defrosting or cooking food.
For Your Safety
• Make sure the mains voltage is identical with the details indicated on the
rating label.
• In use, surfaces will get hot. Danger of getting burned! Do not splash cold
water on the hot glass surface!
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched-on and only use it
for the purpose specified in this manual. Improper use will result in the loss
of warranty.
• Children and persons with handicaps of physical, sensorial or mental nature
must not operate this appliance without an adequate supervision and/or
corresponding expert advice and safety instructions.
• Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with
this appliance.
• Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate
telecontrol system.
• Never immerse the appliance in water and take care that no steam can
infiltrate it.
• The hot tray complies with the relevant safety regulations. Should the
appliance, the glass surface or the power cord be damaged, immediately
unplug the mains plug.
• Installation and repairs may only be carried out by authorised specialist
shops. Improper repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user!
Always unplug the appliance prior to each examination! The manufacturer
does not accept any liability for faulty function caused by improper
installation or repairs.

• The hot tray is designed for installation into worktops with a thickness of
3 – 4 cm.
• The recessed gap must have a suicient distance (at least 5 cm) to the
back and sidewalls in order to avoid overheating. On one side, a high
cabinet can be added, however at least two sides must be kept free in order
to assure unhindered air-circulation. A distance of at least 1.5 cm must be
left underneath the bottom edge of the appliance, access from the bottom
must not be possible.
• Please take care that with built-in furniture the synthetic coating and the
veneer respectively have to be aixed with heat resistant glue.
• Before mounting, the recess in the worktop has to be cut out according to
illustration A.
• Cut out measurements: Outer: 544 x 339 mm Inner: 523 x 318 mm.
• If two or more hot trays are installed side by side, a distance of at least 5
cm has to be left breadthways between the recesses.
• Please lay the enclosed sealing-tape on-end on the outermost border of the
recess, then press on the appliance from the top.
• Under the galvanised bottom plate there are 4 rectangular gaps for
mounting clamps. If the tabletop has a thickness of 3 cm, the clamps
should be fastened according to illustration C. If the thickness is 4 cm,
please fix the clamps according to illustration B.
• Finally tighten the screws on the clamps to fix the tray.
• The appliance comes delivered with a power cord equipped with a safety
plug. Please provide for a fuse protection of at least 10 ampere.
External Temperature Controller
This model is equipped with an external 12-step regulation.
For switching on and o, apply the main switch at the regulation box
(rocker switch with integrated pilot lamp). When the pilot lamp in the
switch glows, the hot tray is switched on.
The temperature is selected via the setting knob at the regulation box.
12 temperature levels are selectable (see below).
Cleaning & Maintenance
After use and prior to cleaning always let the appliance cool down. Pull
the mains plug. If required, wipe the hot tray with a damp cloth and dry it.
Do not at all use any abrasives or dissolvers.

Introduktion
Tack för att ni valt en Stayhot Värmehäll. Innan ni tar er Stayhot värmehäll i
bruk ber vi er att noga läsa igenom bruksanvisningen och därefter förvara den
i anslutning till värmehällen.
Bruksanvisning
• Varning: Värmehällens ovansida är av keramiskt glas. Var noga med att
ställa kärlen på värmehällen och inte skjuta dem på glaset. Hårt porslin
och vassa material kan repa glaset.
• För maximal värme-eektivitet är det klokt att förvärma de kärl som sedan
ska användas vid varmhållningen.
• Förvärm kärlen genom att placera dem på den kalla värmehällen och sätt
på värmehällen. Förvärm ca 15-20 min.
• Utsätt inte värmehällen för stora temperatur-variationer. Placera därför kärl
med varm mat på varm värmehäll.
• Vid varmhållning är det viktigt att man använder kärl med platt botten. Ju
större botten, desto bättre värmespridning. Använd inte för höga formar.
Lock på kärlen hjälper till att hålla värmen eektivare.
• Större mängd mat i djupt kärl — exempelvis soppa, sås, gryta m.m. —
behöver röras runt för att värmen ska bli jämnt fördelad.
• Värmehällen är ej lämpad för att tina/värma/koka upp mat på.
För er säkerhet
• Se till att spänningen överenstämmer med de uppgifter som anges på
märkningen.
• Under användning blir ytorna heta. Risk för att bli bränd! Stänk inte
kallvatten på den varma glasytan!
• Lämna ej hällen oövervakad när den är påslagen och använd den endast för
det syfte som anges i denna bruksanvisning. Felaktig användning resulterar
i förlorad garanti.
• Barn och personer med fysiskt, motoriskt eller psykiskt handikapp får inte
sköta denna apparat utan tillbörlig tillsyn eller sakkunnig anvisning och
beaktande av säkerhetsbestämmelse.
• Håll uppsikt över barn för att förhindra oavsiktlig lek med apparaten.
• Använd inte denna enhet alls med en extern timer eller ett separat
telekontrollsystem.
• Sänk aldrig ner värmehällen i vatten och se till att ingen ånga
kan infiltrera den.
• Skulle glaset eller sladden skadas – dra omedelbart ur sladden.
• Reparationer får endast utföras av auktoriserad servicefirma. Felaktigt
utförd reparation kan leda till fara för användaren.
• Koppla alltid ur stickkontakten före varje undersökning! Tillverkaren tar
inget ansvar för felaktig funktion som orsakats av felaktig installation eller
reparation.
Installation
• Värmehällen är utformad för att installeras i arbetsbänk som är
30 - 40 mm tjock.
• Installation ska ske enligt bifogad skiss. Reparation får endast göras
av Stayhot auktoriserad servicefirma. I annat fall kan fara uppstå vid
användning. Dra alltid ur kontakten före felsökning. Vid felaktig installation
gäller ej garantin.
• Hålet för värmehällen måste ha ett avstånd av minst 5 cm till bak/sidovägg
för att undvika överhettning. Minst två sidor måste vara fria så att luften
kan cirkulera fritt. På undersidan måste avståndet vara minst 1,5 cm. Se till
att det finns god luftväxling!
• Var noga med att använda värmebeständigt lim (100° C) vid montering av
skumgummi-tätningen.
• Såga ur bänkskivan med frästa kanter enligt illustration A.
Håltagningsmått: Yttermått: 544 x 339 mm Innermått: 523 x 318 mm.
• Om två eller fler värmehällar ska installeras sida vid sida, bör ett mellanrum
av ca 5 cm lämnas i bänkskivan mellan hällarna.
• Placera den bifogade monteringstejpen runt kanten av infällnadshålet, lägg
i hällen i hålet och pressa runt kanterna ovanifrån.
• I den galvaniserade bottenplattan finns 4 rektangulära hål för montering
av byglar/klämmor. Om arbetsbänken är 3 cm tjock ska klämmorna fästas
enligt illustration C. Om arbetsbänken är 4 cm ska klämmorna fästas
enligt illustration B.
• Dra slutligen till skruvarna och fäst byglarna/klämmorna
för att fixera hällen.
• Värmehällen levereras med kabel inkl. stickkontakt. Eluttaget ska vara
säkrat till 10 amp.

Separat reglage
Denna modell är utrustad med en extern 12-stegsreglering.
Sätt på hällen genom huvudströmbrytaren på reglaget (vippströmbrytare
med integrerad kontrollampa). När lampan i brytaren lyser är hällen
påslagen.
Temperaturen justeras med vredet på reglaget. Det finns 12
temperatursteg som kan väljas (se nedan för mer detaljer).
Rengöring och underhåll
Efter användning och före rengöring, låt alltid apparaten svalna. Dra ut
stickkontakten. Torka värmehällen med en fuktig trasa och torka den.
Använd aldrig slipmedel eller lösningsmedel.
