PLUG. BRANCHER.
AVANT VOTRE PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Insérez une carte mémoire (non fournie*)
microSD ou microSDHC, d’une capacité de
1 à 32Go.
• Insérez la batterie, modèle pour GoPro®
HERO3** (non fournie*) une fois chargée.
• Pour la correction d’horizon, calibrez les
gyroscopes de votre SteadXP+ en le laissant
allumé sur une surface stable sur la plage de
températures d’utilisation prévue.
BRANCHEMENT
• Insérez SteadXP+ sur la griffe de ash de
votre appareil et xez-le avec la molette de
serrage, dans l’alignement de l’optique.
• Allumez en branchant le câble audio
(non fourni*) sur l’entrée micro stéréo de
votre appareil. Option : avec les caméras
compatibles, vous pouvez genlocker
SteadXP+ sur son entrée RCA (signal bi ou
tri-level).
• L’indicateur lumineux (LED) de SteadXP+
alterne d’abord entre le rouge et l’orange
(1), puis clignote après quelques secondes
(2), variant du vert au rouge en fonction du
niveau de batterie.

RÉGLAGES
• Veillez à désactiver l’EIS/OIS de votre
appareil et/ou de votre optique.
• Utilisez une focale xe. L’usage de zoom
est déconseillé.
• Fixez vos paramètres de prise de vue.
Astuce : plus la focale est longue, plus la
séquence sera dynamique, plus la vitesse
d’obturation devra être élevée (entre 1/150
et 1/1000s).
PRISE DE VUE
• Branchez SteadXP+ et allumez la
caméra. Attention : la LED de SteadXP+
doit clignoter pendant toute la durée de la
prise de vue (2).
• En début d’enregistrement, il est conseillé
d’effectuer un mouvement brusque de faible
amplitude, en visant un arrière plan à plus de
5m et sans premier plan.
• Il est conseillé de débrancher-rebrancher le
câble audio entre chaque prise, an de créer
un nouveau chier de données.

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION LOGICIELLE
Après avoir démarré le logiciel, renseignez
l’adresse mail de contact associée à votre
commande, ainsi que le numéro de série
gurant sur l’étiquette de certication de
votre SteadXP+ (SN:XXXXXXXX).
TRANSFERT DES DONNÉES VIDÉO
Utilisez la fonction « Parcourir » (Browse) ou
laissez le logiciel détecter automatiquement
les données vidéo de votre appareil, via son
unité de stockage.
TRANSFERT DES DONNÉES STEADXP
• A l’aide d’un câble USB (non fourni*),
branchez SteadXP+ à votre ordinateur,
puis démarrez-le. Le logiciel détecte
automatiquement les données de
mouvement de votre SteadXP+ et les
synchronise avec les données vidéo de
votre appareil.
• Vous pouvez également les importer via la
carte mémoire.
ETAPES DE STABILISATION
• Input Sélectionnez votre prol caméra.
Pour un meilleur résultat, calibrez vos
optiques en suivant les instructions du
logiciel SteadXP Calibration. Chaque
optique doit être calibrée séparément dans
le mode d’enregistrement approprié.
•
Sync Ajustement semi-auto des données
image par image, après contrôle visuel,
cliquez sur « Lecture » (Play) puis sur «
Valider » (Validate).
• Preview Découpez vos séquences, ajustez
vos paramètres de stabilisation, puis cliquez
sur « Optimisation » (Optimize).
• Advanced Choisissez vos options d’export,
puis cliquez sur « Rendu » (Rendering).

déconnectez SteadXP+.

Enlevez la batterie de votre SteadXP+ après
chaque usage, et tout particulièrement lors
d’un voyage en avion.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE
• Insert a microSD or microSDHC memory card
(not supplied*), with a capacity of between 1
and 32GB.
• Insert the battery, model for GoPro® HERO3
** (not included *), when charged.
• For horizon correction, calibrate the gyros of
your SteadXP@ by leaving it lit up on a stable
surface over the recommended operating
temperature range.
CONNECTION
• Insert SteadXP+ into the ash shoe of your
device and secure it with the tightening wheel in
alignment with the lens.
• Turn it on by plugging the audio cable (not
included*) into the stereo microphone jack
of your device. Option: You can genlock the
SteadXP+ by using its RCA input (bi- or tri-level
signal) with compatible cameras.
• At rst, the indicator light (LED) of the
SteadXP+ will alternate between red and
orange (1). After a few seconds, it will ash (2),
varying from green to red according to battery
level.
You’re ready to shoot!
SHOOT.
SETTINGS
• Ensure that you disable the EIS/OIS on your
device and/or your lenses.
• Use a xed focal length. Zooming is not
recommended.
• Set your shooting settings. Tip: The greater
the focal length, the more dynamic the footage
will be, and the more the shutter speed should
be increased (between 1/150 and 1/1000s).
SHOOTING
• Plug in SteadXP+ and switch the camera on.
Warning: The LED light on the SteadXP+ will
ash for the duration of shooting (2).
• At the beginning of shooting it is advisable to
make a sudden movement of low amplitude,
aiming at a background with more than 5m and
without a foreground.
• It is advisable to disconnect and then
reconnect the audio cable between each shot,
in order to create a new data le.

USING THE SOFTWARE FOR THE FIRST TIME
After starting up the software, enter the contact
email address linked to your order, as well as
the serial number found on your SteadXP+
certication label (SN:XXXXXXXX).
TRANSFERRING VIDEO DATA
Use the «Browse» function, or let the software
automatically detect video data from your
device via its storage unit.
STEADXP+ DATA TRANSFER
• Use a USB cable (not included*) to connect
SteadXP+ with your computer, then turn
it on. The software automatically detects
the movement data of your SteadXP+ and
synchronizes it with the video data from your
device.
• You can also import data using the memory card.
STEPS FOR STABILIZATION
• Input Select your camera prole. For best
results, calibrate your optics following the
SteadXP Calibration instructions. Each lens has
to be calibrated separately in the appropriate
recording mode.
• Sync Semi-automated adjustment of the
frame-by-frame data. Once you have reviewed
it, click on «Play» and then on «Validate».
• Preview Split your clips, modify your
stabilization settings, then click on «Optimize».
• Advanced Select your export options, then
click on «Rendering».

disconnect SteadXP+.

Charge your battery only via a USB 2.0 port.
All equipment connected to your SteadXP

Limited Power Sources, as dened by chapters

A11 :2009 + A1 :2010 + A12 :2011 + A2 :2013.
Always use the recommended battery type. Use
of a battery of wrong type may cause explosion
Never use a damaged or at battery.
Make sure to remove the battery from your
SteadXP+ after each use, especially when
traveling by air.
