Sumvision Cyclone MKV2 Enclosure Firmware flash guide
This guide is to show you how to force the Sumvision Cyclone MKV2 Enclosure into
performing a firmware flash from a ‘bric ed’ state. The firmware provided with this document is
the same as the original firmware that is shipping with the MKV2 Enclosure - it is NOT an
update, if your device is wor ing o then please don’t update the firmware.
Disclaimer: This firmware flash method involves ta ing apart the MKV2 Enclosure and
removing the PCB, if you are competent in doing this you will recover your device to a wor ing
state however doing so may void your warranty if you damage the product in any way so
proceed at your own ris .
1. Copy the firmware(install.img) into the root directory of your USB storage device, and
connect it with the player.
2. Short circuit the points as shown in the above and below pictures before you switch on the
Player.

3. Keep the two points shorted until the start up logo appears, release after a few
seconds.
4. The upgrade menu will appear after a short while and upgrade process will start, allow this
to complete and the player to reboot. Please be pa ien .
