may cause an unsafe condition.
F) Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to the
weather or to temperatures below freezing.
G) Make sure an appliance mounted on a tank is securely installed
before operating it.
H) Read and observe all important notices on the appliances.
I) If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should
be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the appliance
rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that
it will not be tripped over or pulled.
J) This appliance has a polarized plug (One blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted.
This appliance has no user serviceable parts.

1. inSTAllATion
Place your air pump above the water level in
vertical or horizontal position. (See Fig. 1). If you
place it below water level you must use a valve,
this way you will avoid any back ow of water
when the current falls.
2. oPERATion
Your air pump isn’t intended to be used in water.
Never place the air pump in water (See Fig. 2).
dAnGER:
In case the air pump falls into the water, disconnect the power cord
before you remove it.
3. mAinTEnAnCE
How to disconnect the air pump:

•
This pump will not withstand oil, water, being dropped or a sharp blow.
•
For higher air solubility, please install the air stone or air bar and adjust the effective depth of
every air stone or air bar below the water level to spread the air equally.
•
The general bend of the tube should not be a deviation less that 85% off the position of the
pump outlet. Try to place the tube with a smooth, curved angle.
•
If the capability is reducing, please check:
1. Whether voltage is beyond the required range.
2. Whether the air filter tube, or the joint is broken, leaking or stopped up.
3. Whether the pump valve, diaphram is broken or stopped up.
4. If located in a place with bad air circulation, it will lead to a higher temperature, lower
volume. You must improve the diffusion of heat.
• Repairs are needed if unusual noises or abnormal symptoms occur.
• If the pump stops working, please check 1) Whether the cable line is broken, cut-off is caused
by eroded copper, the joint line is loose or cut off from the power; 2) Whether the piston is
blocked because of erosion by air or liquid; or 3) Whether the electric motor winding is still work-
ing normally.
You will nd your Commercial Grade #1
Electromagnetic Air Pump
FEATURES:
1. Convenient to operate without oil, noise and air pollution.
2. Cylinders and pistons are of excellent materials, making the pump strong and durable and
producing little wear after long periods of operation.
3. Will meet many requirements of pumps with air dividers from four to twenty outlets.
4. Widely used to provide oxygen in aquariums, fish farms and hydroponic systems.
•
Use only standard household voltage of 110 volts. Otherwise the pump will be damaged and
not usable.
•
Maximum working environmental temperature should be within 100°F, with ventilation in the work
space to prevent the temperature of the pump from rising too high.
•
Before using the pump, make sure the ground line is attached and functional. Do not touch the
power with wet hands!
•
The Pump must be installed flatly 15 inches above the water level and kept immovable in order
to prevent liquid form flowing back and the pump from breaking.
•
If the pump is installed outside the room, keep the pump from rain and sunshine. The inside and
outside of the pump must be dry at all times.
