Your new Sunn 410H Bass Loudspeaker Enclosure is constructed from
3/4” (1.9 cm) 7-ply Birch Maple Plywood and is capable of handling up to 300
watts of powerful clean sound. The Sunn 410H features four 10” (25.5cm)
speakers with 34 oz (0.96 kg) magnets and is designed for use with the Sunn
1200S, the Sunn 300T or any other professional quality bass amplifier. In
order to more fully understand the operational characteristics of your Sunn
410H loudspeaker enclosure, please read through all instructions and heed all
caution and safety warnings on both your amplifier and Sunn 410H
loudspeaker enclosure.
CONNECTING MULTIPLE 410H BASS LOUDSPEAKER
ENCLOSURES
Because the Sunn 410H Loudspeaker Enclosure’s jacks are wired in
parallel, multiple 410H cabinets can be “daisy chained” together providing
additional output for larger venues. To do so, simply connect them by inserting
a speaker cable (16 gauge or larger) with a 1/4” plug into the input jacks on
the rear panel of each cabinet. Note: If using a tube amplifier, your tube amp
could fall into protect mode or even be damaged by using an improper
impedance load. Therefore, it is important to heed all caution and safety
warnings on both your amplifier and Sunn 410H loudspeaker enclosure.
YOUR 410H BASS LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM TWEETER
Your Sunn 410H loudspeaker enclosure’s tweeter is protected from
high power levels by an incandescent lamp. If no sound appears to be
produced by the tweeter, the protective lamp on the crossover network’s
circuit board may have burned out. A spare lamp (P/N 051857) can be found
inside the cabinet on the same circuit board.
Replace the lamp as follows:
1) First, remove the 4 screws from the input jack plate on the rear of
the cabinet.
2) Next, remove the input jack plate by pulling it out then down.
3) Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the lamp visible through
the cutout section of the crossover network’s circuit board. Next,
remove the spare lamp located on the right side of the circuit board.
4) Replace the burned out lamp with the spare unit.
5) Finally, place the input jack plate back onto the enclosure and
secure with the screws removed in step 1.
