INSTRUCTION MANUAL

1. DO NOT place objects on top of the device, as objects ay scratch the device.
2. DO NOT expose the device to dirty or dusty environ ents.
3. DO NOT place the device on an uneven or unstable surface.
4. DO NOT insert any foreign objects into the device.
5. DO NOT expose the device to strong agnetic or electrical field.
6. DO NOT expose the device to direct sunlight as it can da age the device. Keep it away
fro heat sources.
7. DO NOT store your device in te peratures higher than 40°C(104°F). The internal operating
te perature for this device is fro 20°C(68°F) to 60°C(140°F).
8. DO NOT use the device in the rain.
9. Please check with your Local Authority or retailer for proper disposal of electronic
products.
10. The device and adaptor ay product so e heat during nor al operation of charging. To
prevent disco fort or injury fro heat exposure, DO NOT leave the device on your lap.
11. POWER INPUT RATING: Refer to the rating label on the device and be sure that the power
adaptor co plies with the rating. Only use accessories specified by the anufacturer.
12. Clean the device with a soft cloth. If needed, da pen the cloth slightly before cleaning.
Never use abrasives or cleaning solutions.
13. Always power off the device to install or re ove external devices that do not support
hot
-
plug.

14. Disconnect the device fro an electrical outlet and power off before cleaning the
device.
15. DO NOT disasse ble the device. Only a certified service technician should perfor
repair.
16. The device has apertures to disperse heat. DO NOT block the device ventilation, the
device ay beco e hot and alfunction as a result.
17. Risk of explosion if battery replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries
according to the instruction.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Introduction
Please read through the anual carefully and thoroughly so that you will have a better
understanding of the perfor ance and features of this clock radio.
DC Operation
This unit can be powered by DC adaptor 4.5V. Please always use original provided DC adaptor.
Connect two AAA battery (not included) to the battery co part ent. It aintains the clock
continue function whenever the DC power is interrupted (the display will not exhibit ti e during
power failure but the clock will keep correct ti e).
Setting The Clock
1. Check the radio is switched off (standby ode).
2. Press TIME PROG for 3 seconds on the panel to start clock setting.
3. Press TUNING + or TUNING - button for 12-hours/24-hours selection.
4. Press TIME PROG on the front panel to hour setting.
5. To set the hours, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still flashing.
6. Press TIME PROG on the front panel to inute setting.
7. To set the inutes, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still flashing.
8. Press TIME PROG on the front panel to co plete the clock setting.
Setting The larm
1. Check the radio is switched off (standby ode).
2. Press the AL1 / AL2 once to preview the alar ti e.
3. Press AL1 / AL2 for 3 seconds on the panel to start alar setting.
4. To set the hours, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still flashing.
5. Press AL1 / AL2 on the panel to inute setting.
5. To set the inutes, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still flashing.
6. Press AL1 / AL2 on the panel, and press TUNING + or TUNING - to select the alar sound as Buzz
or Radio.
7. Press AL1 / AL2 on the front panel, and press TUNING + or TUNING - to select the volu e of
alar sound.
8. Press AL1 / AL2 on the front panel to co plete the alar setting.
Remark: Press AL1 / AL2 to enable / disable the alar function. To ake sure the alar icon is
switch on if alar function is in using. When the alar rings, the volu e of the alar will gradually
increase.
When the alar 1 or 2 rings, to turn it OFF, press on the AL1 / AL2. Alar will ring again at the sa e
ti e the next days.

To stop co pletely alar 1 or 2 the following days, press AL1 / AL2 in standby ode, the alar 1 or
2 icon will disappear and alar 1 or 2 will be disabled for the following days.
To resu e alar 1 or 2, press AL1 / AL2 again in standby ode.
Snooze Function
1. When your alar rings, you can press the SNOOZE to te porarily suspend the alar . The alar
will ring again at 9 inutes later. (The Snooze interval ti e is 9 inutes).
2. Snooze will be repeated until the AL1 / AL2 is pressed.
Sleep Function
1. When listening to radio, press the SLEEP to select a ti e. For exa ple, when the LED display
shows 15, the radio turns will turn off auto atically after 15 inutes.
2. To select a longer playing ti e, press the SLEEP to select 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 inutes.
3. To turn off the radio at any ti e, press the POWER ON OFF.
Radio
1. Ensure that the FM antenna is co pletely unrolled and extended to have the best FM reception.
2. Press POWER ON OFF to switch on the radio.
3. Press and hold down TUNING + or TUNING until the display frequency starts to run. When a
station of sufficient strength has been found, tuning stops.
4. Adjust the sound with VOLUME + or VOLUME .
5. To switch off the radio, press POWER ON OFF once.
Presets
You can store the frequencies of up to 50 radio stations in the e ory. A stored frequency can be
erased fro the e ory by storing another frequency in its place.
Auto atic Preset
1. Press and hold down TIME PROG until the display frequency starts to run.
Manual Preset
1. Tune to your desired station.
2. Press TIME PROG once to enter progra ing ode.
3. Press TUNING + or TUNING to select the desired e ory location.
4. Press TIME PROG once again to confir the selected station.
5. To listen to a preset station:
• select your waveband;
• press the TUNING + or TUNING for selecting your desired station.

To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To i prove FM Reception incline and turn the aerial, reduce
its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a trans itter).
Volume
Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME + or VOLUME -
You ay connect headphones with 3.5 , plug to socket PHONE. The loudspeaker is then uted.
USB Charging
Power on the unit by connecting DC adaptor.
Connect your personal devices (e.g. MP3 / obile phone) to the unit’s USB charging port by a USB
cable.
Dimmer
Switch to HI as always brighter LCD display
Switch to LOWER as always di er LCD display
Switch to AUTO as auto atically adjust on LCD display brightness.

PRECAUTIONS:
1. Do not leave the batteries in the co part ent for a long ti e. Re ove the batteries to avoid
leakage and da age.
2. Do not expose the unit to extre e te perature nor high hu idity to ensure nor al functioning
for a long lifeti e.
For instances, never place the unit in bathing areas nor around stoves and radiators.
3. If you find the unit is not working properly, please take it to your nearest services centre. Do not
atte pt to repair by yourself.

To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet, refer to service agent or qualified engineer only.
