Note:
This unit will become warm when used for a long period of
time.This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the
unit.
This CD player includes micro-processors which may mal-
function as result of external electrical interference or noice.
If the CD player is not working properly, discount the power
source and then reconnect it.
The owner’s manual contains important operating
and maintenance instructions,for your safety,it is
necessary to refer to the manual.

PUTTING BATTERIES INTO THE
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
Press down of the compartment cover, and slide the cover off
open the compartment.
Place the two accessory (Um3),(AA),(R6)batteries in the
remote control according to the polarity markings(”+”and “-”)
inside the compartment and on the batteries.
Place the cover over the compartment, press down lightly, and
push it upward until it snaps on.

RADIO OPERATION
Listening to AM or FM broadcasts.
1.Press FUNCTION button to select tuner mode.

you may need to rotate or move the unit to obtain a better signal.

AUX IN OPERATION
Auxiliary (Aux) mode allows you to play any audio device (e.g.,MP3,cassette
player, etc.) through your system.
Basic Operation
1. Use a 3.5mm mode to male line in cable (included) to connect the line-out or
Headphone out jack of an audio device to this system Auxiliary line-in jack.
2. Press STANDBY to turn the player on .
3. Press the FUNCTION button to the “AUX” mode.
4. Start playback on external audio device.
* You must use the external audio device to control playback.
* To avoid distortion, do not set the volume from the external audio device to
very high levels.

This unit can receive stereo audio signal from a BLUETOOTH stereo source device.

Once the unit enters to the BLUETOOTH mode, it will connect to the last paired
external BLUETOOTH device automatically.
If the device is already paired with the , but became unconnectedSC-3499BT
even with both bluetooth devices turned on. You can re-connect them by
following steps.
1 Press the STANDBY button or press and hold PLAY button on the unit to
re-link the audio source device. The Bluetooth indicator will blink for connecting.

Cleaning a disc
Do not write anything using a pencil, ball-point en...etc..
Do not stick papers or labels.
Handle this side carefully to keep it free from fingerprints
or scratches.
Should the disc become soiled,wipe off dust,dirt and
fingerprints with a soft cloth.
The disc should be cleaned from the center to the edge.
Never use benzene, thinners, record cleaner fluid or antic static spray.
Avoid storing discs in locations where are:
- exposed to direct sunlight.
- susceptible to high levels of humidity or dust.
- directly expose to heat generated from a heating appliance.
- on top of a car dashboard or near the rear window.
Removing the disc from its storage case and loading it.
Be sure to close the CD door so the lens is not contaminated by dust.
Do not touch the lens.
When moisture has formed because the disc was brought suddenly
into a warm room from a cold environment, wipe it off with a soft
dry cloth before using.

Do not touch the reflective recorded surface.
Do not use your headphone and listen continuously at a high
sound level.
If you experience a ringing in your ears, reduce volume or
discontinue usage.
Even if your headphone is an open-air type design which lets
you hear outside sound, do not turn the volume up so high
that you cannot hear what is around you.
Do not stick paper or write anything on the surface.
Do not bend the disc.
1. Clean your unit with a damp (never wet) cloth.Solvent or detergent should
never be used.
Handle the AC power plug carefully. Do not plug in or unplug
with wet hands. Improper handling is dangerous.
2. Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
3.Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical
noise, such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
4.If drop-outs or interruptions occur in the music
during play, or if the disc fails to play at all, its
bottom surface may require cleaning. Before
playing, wipe the disc from the center outwards
with a good soft cleaning cloth.

LISTENING WITH THE HEADPHONE

Before requesting service of this unit, check the chart below
for a possible cause of the problem that you may encounter.
Some simple checks or a minor adjustment on your part may
eliminate the problem and restroe proper operation.
If you are in doubt about some of the check points or it the
remedies indicated in the chart below do not solve the problem,
consult an authorized service center or your dealer for instructions.
