3. Basic Function
(1) CD PLAYBACK
1. Before you start
1. When you use AC/DC Adaptor, connect the AC/DC Adaptor into outlet.
- Indicated Adaptor Mark on the LCD screen
2. When you use rechargeable batteries, check the polarity of battery, + and –
and insert the batteries.
- Indicated current batteries condition on the LCD screen.
* Tips : Be sure to use provided AC/DC Adaptor!
3. Connect the Remote Controller jack to the Main Set.
4. Connect the Earphone jack to the Remote Controller.
5. Slide HOLD switch to OFF position.
* Tips : Be advised that the controls on the player don’t work when
HOLD switch is ON.
2. Playing Disc
1. Slide OPEN button to open player lid and insert the Disc. (Printed side to
face up)
* Tips : Be sure to use Common Audio CD or CD that contains MP3,
WMA file format.
2. To Playback the Disc, Press X(Play/Pause) button on the main unit or the
remote control.
* Tips : 1. First, the Player reads and buffers the data from the Disc.
2. For MP3, WMA, CD reading time can be varied according
to CD conditions.
3. To Pause playback, Press X(Play/Pause) button short.
- Press X button once again to maintain continuous playback
4. To Stop playback, Press ■ (STOP) button longer.

3. Moving and Navigating tracks
1. Play Next Track or Menu: Press ``I key once on the main set or remote
control.
2. Play Previous Track or Menu: Press I__ key once on the main set or remote
control.
3. Move Forward quickly: Press ``I key long on the main set or remote control.
4. Move Backward quickly: Press I__ key long on the main set or remote
control.
4. Volume Control
1. Control the Volume by pressing Vol +/- key on the main set or remote
control.
2. Volume levels are from 0 ~ 40.
3. LCD screen displays the volume level setting.
5. HOLD FUNCTION
1. Main Set:
- Slide the HOLD Key (ON/OFF) on the bottom of the main set to lock the
keys.
- When it is HOLD ON, HOLD (M) is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Tips : Buttons on the Set will not operate when the HOLD is ON.

2. Remote Control:
- Slide HOLD button on the Remote Control to lock the keys.
- When it is HOLD ON, HOLD (R) is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Tips : Buttons on the Remote Control will not operate when the
HOLD is ON.
3. Main Set & Remote Control:
-When both Set & Remote Control are locked, HOLD (A) is displayed on
the LCD screen.
6. REPEAT FUNCTION
- There are various functions that Select Playing forms of track as Normal,
Repeat1, Repeat all, Random, Intro.

1. Press MENU button on the Remote Control.
2. Using Vol +/- button to move REPEAT
3. Press SEL button or slide `` (NEXT) button on the Remote Control to select
REPEAT MENU.
4. Using Vol +/- button to choose REPEAT option.
5. Press SEL button or slide `` (NEXT) button on the Remote Control to finish
set up.

7. Selected REPEAT MODE displays on the main LCD Screen.
- NORMAL ( NOR ) : Play each track in order once and stop.
- REPEAT 1 ( ONE ) : Play a selected single track repeatedly.
- REPEAT All ( ALL ) : Play whole tracks in the disc repeatedly.
- RANDOM ( RND ) : Play every track randomly once and stop.
- INTRO ( INT ) : Play the beginning 10 Seconds of each track.
<< Convenient Operating Process for REPEAT MODE >>
1.During playback, Pressing SEL button on the Remote Control short moves to
REPEAT or EQ MODE.
2. On the REPEAT MODE, Simply press SEL button short to select REPEAT
options.
* Tips: If EQ set is shown on the display, Press SEL button long to
change REPEAT MODE.
3. Selected REPEAT MODE displays on the main LCD Screen.
* Tips : The Convenient Operating Process does not have the list of
INTRO MODE but you can change selected INTRO MODE to other
option by the Convenient Operating Process
7. REPEAT A↔B Section
1. Play selected point (From A point to B point) repeatedly.
2. During playback Press AB button on the Remote Control to move REPEAT
AB mode.
3. REPEAT AB mode condition displays on the LCD screen.
* Tips : REPEAT NONE is set for Default.
4. Press AB Button once to select A point and press AB button once again
to select B point and start REPEAT AB mode.

2. On the EQ MODE, Simply press SEL button short to select EQ options.
3. Selected EQ MODE displays on the main LCD Screen.
(2) For Using Radio Transmitter MODE
- This special feature is to use FM Radio frequency (Range: 87.5~92.5)
to transfer the sound you play the disc.
1. Press FM TRANS button long on the Remote Control.
2. Displays current Radio Frequency set on the LCD screen.
3. Press Vol +/- button to select and find the proper frequency.
- Make sure to change your Car or Home FM Radio Device frequency to
match with it.

Broadcasting can not be used.
4. Selected FM Frequency displays on the main LCD screen
.
5. To change different frequency, Press FM TRANS button long again and
follow the step you have done.
6. To cancel FM TRANS MODE, simply press Repeat AB button long (about 2
Sec).
4. Useful Features
(1) NAVIGATION
- This is a useful function to search and select for desired tracks among
more than 150 tracks.
1. Press MENU button on the Remote Control to move MENU MODE
2. Press Vol +/- button to select NAVIGATION.
3. Press SEL or slide `` (NEXT) button on the Remote Control to select
NAVIGATION MODE options.
4. Press Vol +/- button to choose NAVIGATION options.
- TITLE : Searching by TITLE
- ARTIST : Searching by ARTIST
- GENRE : Searching by GENRE
- DIRECTORY : Searching by DIRECTORY
- PLAYLIST : Searching by selected PLAYLIST
* Tips : Set default to list all tracks for PLAYLIST.

(2) PROGRAM
- You can make your own PLAYLIST to hear the music you desired in your
favorite order.
- All tracks in order of Disc are linked to be the PLAYLIST as a default
setting.
1. When you want to remove the track that you do not want to listen in the
PLAYLIST;
- Press MENU button on the Remote Control to move MENU MODE.
- Press SEL or slide `` (NEXT) button on the Remote Control to select
NAVIGATION MODE options.
- Press Vol +/- button to move PLAYLIST MODE
- Press SEL or slide `` (NEXT) button to see PLAYLIST.
- Press Vol +/- to select the Track and Press SEL button to remove the
track from the list.
2. When you want to make NEW PLAYLIST;
- Press MENU button on the Remote Control to move MENU MODE.
- Press SEL or slide `` (NEXT) button on the Remote Control to select
NAVIGATION MODE options.
- Press Vol +/- to choose option (except for the PLAYLIST) and press
SEL button to select option.
- Press SEL button long (about 2Sec.) to have Remove file option.
- Once you remove the all files on the list then using Vol +/- to find your
new play list track and press SEL Button to list up and link.
- When you have done to make New Playlist, simply press PLAY button to
playback your New PLAYLIST.
(3) SYSTEM
1. FIF / ID3
1. Track information display a set by FIF(Fields in Filename) or ID3 TAG
- FIF uses the CD's character, which makes the searching work much
faster than ID3tags.

- You can use various play options just by the artist, title and genre in
a fixed order.
- On the MENU MODE, select SYSTEM and press Vol +/- to change
FIF or ID3 TAG.

4. Time
- Selection of Time display on the Main LCD screen.
1. On the MENU MODE, select SYSTEM and press Vol +/- change TIME
2. Press SEL button to have options, using Vol +/- button to choose.
- Track time : displays current track time
- Remaining Track Time : displays current remaining track time
- Total Time : displays total disc time

7. Autoplay
- When you turn on the player, it will automatically playback the disc
without any key touch.

5. RECHARGING METHOD
- Rechargeable function is available while the player has rechargeable
batteries
1. Connect to AC Adaptor and press long STOP button shifts Charge MODE.
2. Charging displays on the LCD screen and blinking
3. When charge is done, charging complete displays on the LCD screen.
4. If you press the PLAY button while recharging the batteries, charge mode
will be canceled and playback the disc.
5. Charging time: Approx. 7 Hr (At full charge)
6. FIRMWARE UPGRADE
- Possible to upgrade the popular file format such as AAC, OGG, MP4 and
so on, and also can upgrade the additional player functions for future
correspondence features.
1. Place the Disc that you want to install to Player. (Firmware Upgrade Data
can be downloaded from the web site.)
2. Plug the AC Adaptor.
3. Pressing SEL button on the Remote Control and PLAY button on the
MAIN SET simultaneously to have Firmware Upgrade MODE.
4. Player automatically find and install the data.
* Tips: Make sure you plug the AC Adaptor first and operate right key.
(SEL button on Remote & PLAY button on SET)
