Install SIM card
Units will be delivered with the SIM cards. However, we will require each engineer to insert
the SIM cards themselves. We also require the engineer to take note of every SIM number.
Install GPS Receiver
Connect the GPS receiver to the Mini DIN connector.
Connecting Power Feeds to the unit
The unit is dual voltage so no dropper is required for 24 volt installations: connections are as
follows:
Permanent feed (pin 1 – wire colour is red)
12-24 Ignition feed (pin * - wire colour is yellow)
Earth (pin * - wire colour is black)
Mounting the unit
Ensure the mouthing of the unit is secure & flat to the vehicle body the using the holding
straps use a good quality high impact bonding tape or secure cable ties.
Commissioning After Install
RAM Technical Support: 0113 385 1803 to commission unit before leaving site
LED Status they both need to be solid.
Please note that ALL UNITS MUST BE TESTED.
