1 - KIT COMPOSITION
Mounting pack composed by the follo ing elements :
1 - Rectangular GPS antenna on sheet, with wire of 10cm,
2 - GPS antenna wire 1 metre,
5 - Power cable of 3 metres
3 - Octogonal Iri ium antenna on sheet, with wire of 10cm,
with fuse hol er of 3A,
4 - Iri ium antenna wire 1 metre,
6 - Thermo-retractable gir les an wire protections.
- Duo overall imensions without bracket : 175 mmX125 mmX48 mm (without plugs an cables)
- Weight GPS + Iritrack : 1,2 Kg
- Consuption un er 12V for the Iritrack, stan by 300Ma, uring transmission-reception 1100mA
DUO MOUNTING ADVISES FOR BIKE
IMPORTANT :
The machines have to be presented at the technical checks, ith the bracket, cablings and
antennas mounted, ready to receive the Iritrack.
Technical charateristics of the set GPS + Iritrack:
- Environment: operating from - 30° C à + 55°C an storage from -40°C to +65°C
Reminder
: The Touratech 6 points bracket, the GPS and its accessories must be ordered from ERTF,
2 - MOUNTING
B - POWER CABLE AND EXTENSION
Connect the power cable with the extension.
Make the power cable come at the level of the bracket.
C- ANTENNAS AND CABLES
They must be necessarily put in the
horizontal, an loosene of any obstacle.
It is also forbi en to paint them.
Screw the cables of each antennas an
make come the connections at the level
of the bracket.
It is in ispensable to have enough space to pass the fingers
to be able to connect the wires : around 10cm.
The antennas have to be fixe on the
front of the bike (front mu guar , top of
the bubble or instrumentation bracket).
It is strongly a visable to put plastic
necklaces (type Rilsan), to maintain
antennas.
The GPS an Iri ium antennas can be
installe si e by si e.
Connect re an black wires to a continuous tension
ranging from 12 to 24 volts, continuously an irectly
from the battery, as stipulate in the FIA regulations.
A - BRACKET
The bracket has to be fixe in front of the pilote, in
or er to have the Iritrack buttons visible an accessible
for push in case of an emergency.

ATTENTION : It is very important to put the thermo-retractable girdle bet een each antenna and its cable.
Before making warm the gir le, make sure that connectors are correctly locke .
Put the protection supplie with gir les aroun every
cable.
At this stage of the installation you must have 1- the power
cable, 2- GPS antenna cable an 3- Iri ium antenna cable, pulle
towar s the bracket.
