Instructions
ChargingtheUnit
To charge the unit first set the fan, LED, and power switches (#s 15, 14, and 12 respectively on the components diagram) to the OFF
positions. Then insert the AC power cord into a compatible outlet, after doing this the Charging Indicator (# 18 on the components
diagram) should illuminate. The unit will fully charge in approximately 1618 hours. When the unit is fully charged, the Power
Indicator (# 13 on the components diagram) will illuminate when the unit is on. Once the battery has become depleted recharge as
soon as possible. Always store the unit fully charged. Charge the unit at least once every 3 months. When the battery is fully charged,
the unit will run for approximately 34 hours off the battery with the fan, radio, and LEDs simultaneously on. The battery will last
morewhenonlyasinglefunctionisactivated.
UsingBatteryPower
To run the unit off of battery power, make sure the unit is charged, then set the Power Selector to DC (# 12 on the components
diagram).Afterdoingthis,activatethedesiredfunctions.Oncedone,setthePowerSelectortoOFF.
UsingOutletPower
To run the unit off of outlet power, first set the Power Selector (# 12 on the components diagram) to OFF. Then insert the AC Power
CordintoacompatibleoutletandthensetthePowerSelectortoAC.
UsingtheFan
After turning the unit on, set the fan speed to “low” or “high” using the Fan Power Switch (# 15 on the components diagram). To
deactivatethefan,settheFanPowerSwitchtothe“OFF”position.
WARNING: Never operate the fan when the protective cover is damaged, or not in place. Keep body parts and other objects away
fromthefanblade.Donotoperatethefaninthereachofinfantsandsmallchildren.
UsingtheLEDLamp
After turning the unit on, adjust the lamp arm to the desired position and set the LED Lamp Power Switch (# 14 on the components
diagram)to“low”or“high.”TodeactivatethelightsettheLEDLampPowerSwitchtothe“OFF”position.
UsingtheRadio
After turning the unit on, press the Power Button (# 1 on the control panel diagram) to turn on the speaker. Press the Mode Button (# 6
on the control panel diagram) to set input to Radio . When in radio mode, set the station by pressing the Scan Button (# 1 on the
control panel diagram), which will automatically connect the unit to the next available station. To proceed to the next station, press the
Scan Button again. Set the desired volume by pressing and holding the VOL and VOL+ Buttons (#s 2 and 3 on the control panel
diagramrespectively).Tomaximizereception,adjusttheFMantenna(#5onthecomponentsdiagram).
ConnectingBluetoothDevices
After turning the unit on, press the Power Button (# 1 on the control panel diagram) to turn on the speaker. The default input mode is
Bluetooth. Search for available Bluetooth devices on your Bluetooth enabled music storage device, where the speaker will appear as
the “FS1BT.” Pair the devices, if prompted to enter a password enter the code: 0000. Set playback on the Bluetooth music storage
device or using the playback controls, (#s 13 on the control panel diagram). Set the desired volume by pressing and holding the V
and V+ Buttons (#s 2 and 3 on the control panel diagram respectively). To repeat and shuffle tracks press the Repeat/Shuffle Button (#
4 on the control panel diagram). To adjust music output, press the EQ Button (# 5 on the control panel diagram) to select one of the
preprogrammedequalizationsettings.
UsingTFCardsandUSBFlashDrives
After turning the unit on, press the Power Button (# 1 on the control panel diagram) to turn on the speaker. Then insert either a TF
card into the TF Card Slot (# 7 on the control panel diagram) or a USB Flash Drive into the USB Flash Drive Port (# 8 on the control
panel diagram), which will automatically set playback to USB/TF. The maximum storage size of the TF Card or USB Flash Drive
cannot exceed 16 gb. Files must be in the .mp3 format. Select playback using the playback controls, (#s 13 on the control panel
diagram). Set the desired volume by pressing and holding the VOL and VOL+ Buttons (#s 2 and 3 on the control panel diagram
respectively). To repeat and shuffle tracks press the Repeat/Shuffle Button (# 4 on the control panel diagram). To adjust music output,
presstheEQButton(#5onthecontrolpaneldiagram)toselectoneofthepreprogrammedequalizationsettings.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the device with a clean dry cloth. If cleaning solution is required, apply a little cleaning alcohol to the cloth. Never use abrasive
solventsasthesewilldamagetheunit’sfinish.
During normal use, dust may accumulate on the fan blades. To clean the fan blades, first unplug the unit and set the AC/OFF/DC
Power Selector and the Fan Power Switch (#s 12 and 15 on the components diagram respectively) to “OFF.” Then detach the fan’s
protective cover using the Front Fan Cover Release Lock (# 3 on the components diagram). With the unit off and the fan set to off,
clean the fan’s blades with a dry cloth. Never clean the fan’s blades when the device or the fan is set to on. Be sure to reattach the
fan’sprotectivecoverwhendone.
ReplacingtheBattery
WARNING:Thebatteryshouldonlybereplacedbyanappropriatelylicensedprofessional.
BatterySpecifications:LeadAcidBattery6V/4.5AH
First unplug the unit and and set the AC/OFF/DC Power Selector (# 12 on the components diagram) to “OFF.” Then open the unit’s
cover by unscrewing the appropriate screws. Locate the battery and safely disconnect the wires ensuring nothing comes in contact
with any exposed power sources. Safely reconnect the wires to the new battery making sure the negative and positive terminals are
properly attached to their respective wires and that no exposed power sources come in contact with body parts or other objects. Insert
thebatteryintoitscompartmentandreconnecttheunit’scover.
