Your
MessagePhone
is supplied with amicrocassette
tape
for the incoming
message
tape.
Take
up
any
slack
in
your
cassette before installation.
Rotate
the
tape
reel with a
penCil,
as
shown in
the
figure.

To retain the

You
can control your MessagePhone remotely from any Touch-Tone pnone without any beeper orfrom any
Pulse Dial Phone using a pocket Tone Dialer.

You
can control your MessagePhone remotely from any touch-tone
pnone
without
any
beeper orfrom any
pulsedial phone using a pocket tone dialer.
1. Call
your
phone number
to
which the MessagePhone is connected.
2. The MessagePhone answers a call
at
first ring if
the
MessagePhone has received
at
least one message. When
the
MessagePhonedoes not answer at first ring, you can
hang
up
before third ring, knowing
that
there are
no
additional messages since
the
last
time
you checked. (Toll-Saverfeature).
3. You will hearthe outgoing announcement.
4. While
the
announcement is sounding, enteryour security code. Press
the
Dial button
one
the
telephone
or
Tone Dialer.
If
code
is correct, the MessagePhone will emit a long beep
of
about 4 seconds,
and
stop
the
outgoing announcement.
If
this
does nottake place,
try
sending
the
security
code
again.
5. The MessagePhone will automatically rewind the incoming message
tape
to
the
beginning
of
the new messages and start playback.
6. When
the
tape reaches
the
end
of
messages, the MessagePhone sounds an
intermittent beep
for
4 seconds. The MessagePhone isthen silent
for
10
seconds.
7. You can command
the
MessagePhone
to
do
various taks during this
10
seconds
command state.
If
you
do
not send any command, as when the call is accidentally
disconnected.

MessagePhone will emit a final beep
of
2 seconds and disconnect
the
call.
