INSTALLATION
CONNECTIONS
nPlug the telephone line cord to the connector (1) of the machine and
connect the other end to the wall telephone socket.
nPlugthepowersupplyunittotheconnector(2)andthepowercordintoan
A.C. outlet .
INK RIBBON
nOpen the front and the back cover (3, 4).
nPlace the ink ribbon kit above its housing under the back cover (5).
nPut it in its housing without removing the adhesive tape.
nRemove the adhesive tape .
nPlace the small roll in its housing (6).
nInstalling the ribbon gauge.
nRemove gauge housing cover (7):
. slide the cover towards the back,
. remove the gauge mini-card (9) from the support card (8).
nInsertthegauge(9)intheslot(10)ofitshousingwiththechipfacing you
and the bevelled corner positioned on top right.
nReplace the gauge housing cover (9).
nClose the back cover (4), then the front cover (3).

PAPER
nOpen the fax insert cover (10).
nPull up the paper supporting bracket.
nPut the paper between the paper guides (11).
nAdjust the left paper guide to the paper width.
nPush forward the clamp (12) to insert the paper
into the paper housing of the machine.
nPull up the paper supporting bracket (13)
to ease the collection of printed pages.
FAX
l Sending a fax
nPull up the fax insert cover.
nPull up the document supporting bracket.
nInsert the document in the document feeder.
nDial your number.
nPress the START key.
l Receiving a fax
nLeavealwayspaperinthebackpapertray inorder toreceive automaticaly
faxes
PERSONAL COPIER
nMake a local copy directly on plain paper
nInsert plain paper into the paper tray.
nInsert the document to be copied in the document feeder.
nPress the COPY key.
PRINT YOUR FUNCTION LIST
nInsert paper in the paper tray.
nPress the FUNCTION key, then 5, then 1.
nPress the START key to confirm.
