INSTALLATION AND USE INSTRUCTIONS
TYPE K6 BATHROOM - KITCHEN
Thank you for your preference. You have chosen a very useful and tested device.
Read carefully the following instructions as proper installation and use can secure long life expectancy.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
A free-flow heater means that the water switch is
always placed at the entrance.
ALWAYS PREFER A MULTITURN SWITCH FOR
EASY HANDLING.
In no event should the hot water outlet be closed
using the switch or in any other way.
Correct positioning is when the input unions face the
floor (Fig. 1 to 5).
At the entrance, there is a filter and a diaphragm that
serves to adapt to the current supply pressure. If the
supply pressure is too low, slightly enlarge the
aperture of the diaphragm, but no more than 3 mm.
The device features a selector (power regulator) that
helps regulate its heating capacity depending on the
season. It can also work in combination with a solar
water heater.
INSTALLATION - PLUMBING CONNECTION
The devices are connected to the supply network
and operate at a pressure of 2 to 8 bar.
In the bathroom, they are placed on the wall, at a
height of around 1.60 meters from the floor and are
connected with pressure spirals from the battery of
the tub or shower (see Figure 1) or through a supply
from another point of the bathroom through a water
switch before the device.
In kitchens, they are installed using THERMITRON
accessories when the water supply is on the wall
above the bench (see Figures 2, 3, 4, 5). Positions 2
& 3 require a multiturn angular water switch, which
can be purchased from a plumbing store.
If it is not convenient to place the component
provided in the packaging, you can replace it with
another at no extra charge.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The electrical connection to the network is performed via a flexible tripolar cable, with a cross-section
depending on the indicated power of the device, and through a bipolar switch with contacts separated by at
least 3 mm. The wires in the terminal strip must be screwed correctly to avoid damage due to poor contact.
HANDLING - TEMPERATURE SETTING
Placing the switch in position III, turn on the tap until LED lights up. After 8-10 seconds, you will note that the
water is hot, with a constant temperature. If you would like it more lukewarm, just slightly increase the flow.
When the weather is warm, use positions I or II, always repeating the same setting process.

POSITION 0 = DOES NOT OPERATE
POSITION I = SUMMER
POSITION II = SPRING, AUTUMN
POSITION III = WINTER
NOTE:
THERMITRON device works automatically by turning the water on and off. However, if after each use you
first set the switch to position (0) and then turn off the water, you will achieve something very important. You
will avoid the accumulation of salts in the chamber of the device for many years, helping in its longevity.

USEFUL INFORMATION
•In order to ensure proper operation of your device, you must keep it free of rubbish and salts with
natural cleaning.
•If LED is not lit on when turning on water, this means that the inlet filter needs to be cleaned or the
water supply network pressure is very low.
•If LED lights up but the there is no hot water, you will have to contact the maintenance service
department of THERMITRON.
•Any unauthorized modification or action contrary to the instructions and installation guide can be the
reason for malfunction or even damage.
•In areas where water freezes in winter it is advisable to empty the remaining water by unscrewing the
union nuts of the device.
• All plumbing and electrical connections must be made by people who have basic knowledge in
plumbing and electrical installations.
