Deze handleiding bevat de gebruiksaanwijzing
voor de op de kaft vermelde heteluchtkachel. De
informatie in deze handleiding is belangrijk voor
een juist en veilig gebruik van de heteluchtkachel.

Het identificatieplaatje is bevestigd op de zijkant
van de heteluchtkachel. Het identificatieplaatje
bevat de volgende gegevens:

1.4 Gebruik dit product waarvoor het
bestemd is
De heteluchtkachel is ontworpen voor verwarming
van tenten, bouwplaatsen, showruimten,
sporthallen, opslagloodsen, werkplaatsen,
doorwerkprojecten, magazijnen, kassen,
polytunnels, spuitinrichtingen en voor het drogen
van landbouwproducten en bollen.
1.5 Algemene instructies
2 INTRODUCTIE
2.1 Doel
Deze heteluchtkachel is een indirect gestookte
kachel met fotocelbeveiliging en met
aansluitingen voor een ruimtethermostaat en
schoorsteen met regenkap.
De heteluchtkachel is getest op zeeniveau bij een
temperatuur van 20 °C.
2.2 Werkingsprincipe
Door middel van de keuzeschakelaar bestaat de
mogelijkheid de heteluchtkachel op twee
manieren te gebruiken:
• Stand 1: de ventilator schakelt in om de
ruimte alleen van ventilatielucht te voorzien.
• Stand 2: de brander schakelt in, waarna na
enige tijd de ventilator inschakelt. De warme
lucht kan door middel van een kanalen- of
slangenstelsel naar de te verwarmen ruimte
worden getransporteerd.
Op de schakelkast is een ruimtethermostaat aan
te sluiten. Hiermee kan de temperatuur in de te
verwarmen ruimte geregeld worden.
De branderautomaat op de brander zorgt voor
een veilige en goede werking van de brander.
Zodra de brander wordt aangezet, zal de
verbrandingsventilator de branderkamer schoon
ventileren.
Nadat de branderkamer schoon is geventileerd,
opent de branderautomaat het magneetventiel en
zal er onder druk brandstof door de verstuiver
worden geperst. Hierdoor ontstaat een brandbaar
mengsel, welke door het ontstekingsmechanisme
wordt ontstoken. De aanwezige fotocel
controleert de vlamvorming. Wanneer er geen
juiste vlam wordt gevormd, zal de brander in
storing gaan.
Nadat bij een juiste verbranding de brander wordt
uitgeschakeld, blijft de ventilator draaien totdat de
heteluchtkachel voldoende is afgekoeld.

WAARSCHUWING
• Lees deze handleiding zorgvuldig
door, alvorens de heteluchtkachel te
gebruiken.
• Bewaar dit document bij de
heteluchtkachel.
• Volg de beschreven procedures.
• Leun nooit op de heteluchtkachel.
• Houd minimaal 2 meter afstand van
de uitblaasopening van de
heteluchtkachel.
• Zorg dat er voldoende lucht is voor
een goede verbranding.
• Zorg dat er geen licht ontvlambaar
materiaal in de buurt van de
heteluchtkachel komt.
• Voer uitsluitend reparatie- en
onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit als
de heteluchtkachel voldoende is
afgekoeld, en nadat de steker uit de
contactdoos is verwijderd.

2.6 Digitale thermostaat
De digitale thermostaat (E) heeft drie functies:
• Ventilator thermostaat:
De thermostaat schakelt de hoofdventilator in
zodra de heteluchtkachel de ingestelde
temperatuur heeft bereikt.
Na het uitschakelen van de heteluchtkachel,
blijft de ventilator nog draaien. De ventilator
koelt de heteluchtkachel om schade door
oververhitting te voorkomen. De ventilator
stopt automatisch.
• Brander thermostaat:
De thermostaat stopt de brander zodra de
temperatuur van de warme lucht te hoog
wordt.
Als de luchttemperatuur voldoende gedaald
is, schakelt de thermostaat de brander weer
in.
• Maximaal thermostaat:
De maximaal thermostaat schakelt de
heteluchtkachel volledig uit als er een
overhittingsprobleem in de heteluchtkachel
is. De brander kan niet opnieuw worden
ingeschakeld voordat de thermostaat is
gereset door twee seconden de U-toets in te
drukken.
2.7 Accessoires
• Brandstoftank
• Thermostaat voor ruimtetemperatuur
• Lucht transportslang (diameter 600 mm)
• Verse lucht aansluiting voor de brander.
3 VOORBEREIDINGEN
3.1 Verpakking verwijderen
1. Verwijder de verpakking van de
heteluchtkachel.
2. Hijs de heteluchtluchtkachel voor transport
naar de plaats van gebruik.
3.2 Installatie
1. Zorg ervoor dat de heteluchtkachel
horizontaal staat.
2. Sluit de brandstoftoevoer aan op het
brandstoffilter (A) van de heteluchtkachel, zie
fig. 8.
3. Vul de tank met brandstof.
4. Zorg dat er voldoende afstand is tussen de
muur en de luchtinlaat. De minimale afstand
is 1 m.
5. Zorg ervoor dat de verwarmde lucht
ongehinderd kan doorstromen. De minimale
afstand tussen de uitlaat en een obstakel
moet 5 m zijn.
6. Controleer de ventilatie-oppervlakte: per kW
is een oppervlakte van 25 cm2nodig.
7. Controleer de aansluiting van de
ruimtethermostaat.
VOORZICHTIG
Werk altijd volgens de lokaal geldende
normen en richtlijnen.
VOORZICHTIG
Hijs de heteluchtkachel volgens de
instructies (fig. 2).
VOORZICHTIG
Gebruik alleen dieselolie.
Voorzichtig
• Dieselolie heeft de neiging dikker te
worden bij lage temperaturen.
Hierdoor kunnen de filters verstopt
raken. Voeg maximaal 15%
petroleum aan de brandstof toe bij
temperaturen lager dan -5 °C, of
zorg dat de brandstof vorstvrij is, of
gebruik de (optionele)
tankverwarming.
• Plaats de tank niet in de warme
luchtstroom.

Verwijder het dopje niet als u geen
ruimtethermostaat gebruikt.
Verwijder het dopje om een
ruimtethermostaat aan te sluiten.
8. Installeer de schoorsteen (1 m en een
regenkap).
9. Zorg ervoor dat de heteluchtkachel is
uitgeschakeld, zie fig. 7.
10. Controleer de voedingsspanning: zie het
identificatieplaatje.
11. Sluit de heteluchtkachel aan op de
contactdoos van de electrische
stroomvoorziening.
De controlelamp “Paneel onder spanning”
brandt (wit).
12. Druk, indien nodig, de drukknop ´Reset
burner´ in, zie fig. 7.
13. Reset de thermostaat , zie fig. 7.
3.3 Opstarten
Opstarten voor verwarming:
1. Open de brandstofkraan (B), zie fig. 8.
2. Schakel de draaischakelaar in stand 2, zie
fig. 7.
De brander start op en produceert warmte.
Na enige tijd schakelt de ventilator
automatisch in.
3. Stel de ruimtethermostaat af.
Opstarten voor ventileren:
1. Zet de draaischakelaar in stand 1, zie fig. 7.
De ventilator start op.
4 GEBRUIK
4.1 Tijdens gebruik
4.2 Uitschakelen
Uitschakelen van verwarming:
1. Zet de draaiknop in de “0” stand.
De magneetklep sluit en stopt de
brandstoftoevoer.
2. Neem de elektrische aansluiting los.
Uitschakelen van ventilatie:
1. Zet de draaiknop in de “0” stand, zie fig. 7.
2. Neem de elektrische aansluiting los.
4.3 Transport na gebruik
1. Schakel de heteluchtkachel uit en wacht tot
de ventilator is gestopt.
2. Sluit de elektrische stroom af.
3. Neem de aansluiting van de
ruimtethermostaat los en plaats de kap op de
thermostaataansluiting.
4. Verwijder de luchtslangen.
5. Verwijder de schoorsteen.
6. Neem de brandstofaansluiting los.
VOORZICHTIG
Schakel de heteluchtkachel niet in als er
geen brandstof is, of als de aangesloten
brandstoftank leeg is.
Heet
Raak de schoorsteen en uitblaasopening
niet aan! De schoorsteen en de
uitblaasopening worden heet tijdens
bedrijf!!
VOORZICHTIG
Na het uitschakelen van de
heteluchtkachel, blijft de ventilator nog
draaien. De ventilator koelt de
heteluchtkachel om schade door
oververhitting te voorkomen. De
ventilator stopt automatisch.
Verwijder de steker niet uit de
contactdoos voordat de ventilator geheel
stilstaat.

5 ONDERHOUD
5.1 Onderhoudstabel
Registreer na elk winterseizoen het onderhoud in
de tabel achterin dit boek.

5.2 Algemeen
Als de heteluchtkachel voor langere opgeslagen
wordt:
1. Laat de heteluchtkachel 3 minuten branden.
Dit beschermt de pomp tegen roest.
2. Zorg dat de branderkop vrij is van stof en
aanslag.
Een vuile branderkop veroorzaakt slechte
verbranding, waarbij roet en koolmonoxide
ontstaan en de branderkamer wordt
beschadigd.
3. Sluit de klep van de brandstoftoevoer.
4. Neem de elektrische aansluiting los.
5.3 Fotocel (Fig. 9)
Controleer de fotocel:
1. Open de deuren van brander compartiment.
2. Verwijder de kap van de brander.
3. Verwijder de fotocel (A) uit de plaat (B)..
4. Reinig de fotocel als het glas zwart is.
Als het glas gebarsten is, moet de fotocel
door de dealer vervangen worden.
Installeer de fotocel in de omgekeerde volgorde.

Controleer de pomp op lekkage, roest en vuil. Gebruiker
Contoleer de pomp, ventilatoren, onsteking, fotocel, brander, elektrische installatie,
verbrandingskamer en warmtwisselaar op hun algemene conditie.

6 STORINGEN
6.1 Tabel storingzoeken

Zorg dat de elektrische stroom is
ingeschakeld en de brandstoftank vol is,
voordat u begint met storingzoeken.

1.4 Use this product for the purpose it
was intended for
The convector heater was designed for the
heating of tents, building sites, showrooms, sports
halls, storage sheds, workshops, round-the-clock
projects, warehouses, greenhouses, polytunnels,
spray arrangements, and for the drying of
agricultural produce and bulbs.
1.5 General instructions
2 INTRODUCTION
2.1 Purpose
This convector heater is an indirectly fired heater
with photocell protection, connections for a room
thermostat, and a flue with rain cover.
The convector heater has been tested at sea level
at a temperature of 20 °C.
2.2 Working principle
Using the selection switch, the convector heater
can be used in one of two ways:
• Position 1: the fan will switch on to supply
ventilating air to the room only.
• Position 2: the burner will switch on, after
which the fan will switch on as well, after a
short while. The hot air can be conveyed to
the room to be heated by means of a system
of channels or tubes.
A room thermostat can be connected to the
control cabinet. It can be used to control the
temperature in the room to be heated.
The burner automat on the burner will ensure the
safe and correct operation of the burner. As soon
as the burner is switched on, the combustion fan
will ventilate the burner room until it is clean.
After the burner room has been ventilated clean,
the burner automat will open the magnet valve
and force fuel through the nozzle under pressure.
This will result in a combustible mixture, which is
ignited by the ignitor. The installed photocell
monitors the flame. If no flame is formed, the
burner will trigger an error.
When the combustion is correct the burner will be
switched off and the fan will keep on turning until
the convector heater has cooled down sufficiently.

2.6 Digital thermostat
The digital thermostat (E) has three functions:
• Ventilator thermostat:
The thermostat will switch on the main
ventilator as soon as the convector heater
has reached the preset temperature.
After switching off the convector heater, the
ventilator will continue to run. The ventilator
will cool down the convector heater to
prevent damage by overheating. The
ventilator will automatically stop.
• Burner thermostat:
The thermostat will stop the burner as soon
as the temperature of the hot air has risen too
much.
When the air temperature has dropped
sufficiently, the thermostat will turn on the
burner again.
• Maximum thermostat:
The maximum thermostat will switch off the
convector heater completely if an
overheating problem has occurred in the
convector heater. The burner cannot be
switched on again until the thermostat has
been reset by pressing the U key for two
seconds.
2.7 Accessories

3 PREPARATIONS
3.1 Removing the packaging
1. Remove the packaging material from the
convector heater.
2. Lift the convector heater to transport it to its
location of use.
3.2 Installation
1. Make sure the convector heater is level.
2. Connect the fuel supply to the fuel filter (A) of
the convector heater. See fig. 8.
3. Fill the tank with fuel.
4. Make sure there is sufficient distance
between the wall and the air inlet. Minimum
distance is 1 m.
5. Ensure that the heated air is allowed to flow
freely. The minimum distance between the
outlet and any obstacle is 5 m.
Caution
Make sure to always follow the local
standards and guidelines.
Caution
Lift the convector heater according to the
instructions (fig. 2).
Caution
Use diesel oil only.
Caution
• Dieseloil tends to thicken at low
temperatures. This may clog the
filters. Add max. 15% paraffin oil to
the fuel if the temperature has
dropped below -5 °C, or make sure
the fuel is frost-free, or use the
(optional) tank-heating device.
• Do not place the tank in the hot-air
flow.

6. Check the ventilation surface: per kW, a
surface area of 25 cm2is required.
7. Check the connection of the room
thermostat.
Do not remove the cap if you do not use a
room thermostat.
To connect the room thermostat, remove the
cap.
8. Install the flue (1 m and a rain cover).
9. Make sure the convector heater is switched
off. See fig. 7.
10. Check the power supply: refer to the
identification plate.
11. Connect the convector heater to the socket of
the electric power supply.
The indicator light “Panel live” is on (white).
12. If necessary, press pushbutton 'Reset
burner', see fig. 7.
13. Reset the thermostat. See fig. 7.
3.3 Starting up
To start up the heating:
1. Open the fuel cock (B). See fig. 8.
2. Switch the rotary switch to position 2. See fig.
7.
The burner starts and produces heat. After
some time the ventilator switch on
automatically.
3. Set the room thermostat.
To start up the ventilation:
1. Switch the rotary switch to position 1. See fig.
7.
The fan will start up.
4 OPERATION
4.1 During operation

To switch off the heating:
1. Switch the rotary switch to position “0”.
The magnet valve will close and stop the fuel
supply.
2. Remove the electrical plug.
To switch off the ventilation:
1. Switch the rotary switch to position “0”. See
fig. 7.
2. Remove the electrical plug.
4.3 Transport after use
1. Switch off the convector heater and wait until
the fan has stopped completely.
2. Switch off the power supply.
3. Remove the connection from the room
thermostat and place the cap on the
thermostat connection.
4. Remove the air hoses.
5. Remove the flue.
6. Remove the fuel connection.
Caution
Do not switch on the convector heater if
there is no fuel, or if the connected fuel
tank is empty.
Hot
Do not touch the flue and exhaust
opening! The flue and exhaust opening
will become hot during operation!!
Caution
After switching off the convector heater,
the ventilator will continue to run. The
ventilator will cool down the convector
heater to prevent damage by
overheating. The ventilator will
automatically stop.
Do not remove the plug from the socket
until the fan has stopped completely.

5 MAINTENANCE
5.1 Maintenance table
After each winter season, register any
maintenance carried out in the table at the back of
this manual.

5.2 General
If the convector heater is to be stored for a longer
period of time:
1. Switch on the convector heater for three
minutes. This will protect the pump against
corrosion.
2. Make sure the burner head is free from dust
and deposit.
A dirty heater head will cause insufficient
combustion, resulting in the development of
soot and carbon monoxide and causing
damage to the burner room.
3. Close the valve of the fuel supply.
4. Remove the electrical plug.
5.3 Photocell (Fig. 9)
Check the photocell:
1. Open the doors to the burner compartment.
2. Remove the cover of the burner.
3. Remove photocell (A) from plate (B).
4. Clean the photocell if the glass has turned
black.
If the glass is cracked, the photocell must be
replaced by the dealer.
Reinstall the photocell in reverse order.

6 TROUBLESHOOTING
6.1 Troubleshooting table

Make sure the electric power supply is
switched off and the fuel tank is full,
before you start troubleshooting.
