Using the VHDC300
VGA to Y, Pb, Pr Component Video Adapter
The VHDC300 adapter converts RGB video with separate
H and V sync to Y Pb Pr video with tri-level* sync on the Y
signal, for use with HDTV (high definition TV) monitors which
require that form of input. The adapter has been found to operate
properly with a number of different monitors but it is possible there
may be some with which it is not compatible.
The VHDC300 is not a format converter. The output signal scan
format is the same as that of the input. A 1080I RGB input with H
and V sync will appear at the output as a 1080I Y, Pb, Pr signal
with tri-level sync on Y.
