Cleaning:
Never use any harsh cleansers or solvents on your Model Subwoofer.Avoid using spray-on waxes.
A liquid wood polish will usually yield better results. The face may be cleaned with a slightly damp, soft
cloth. Take care not to rub too hard.
If you are using the Model Subwoofer with TivoliAudio’s Model Two radio, note that since the cabinet lam-
inate is natural wood, there may not be an exact color/grain match between the subwoofer and the Model
Two’s cabinet. You may also notice the wood darken over time.
Warranty:
TivoliAudio manufactures its products to very high standards and we are confident our products will per-
form well for many years. Accordingly, we warranty all of our products against manufacturing defects in
material and workmanship to the original owner, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty does not extend to damage caused by improper use/installation, faulty ancillary equipment,
modifications, unauthorized repair, shipping damage or loss, abuse, accidents, use on improper
voltage/current, lightning or other acts of God, normal wear and tear, or purchases from unauthorized
dealers. Proof of purchase as evidence the unit was purchased from an authorized dealer within the war-
ranty period may be required for warranty service. Should service be necessary, DO NOT return the prod-
uct without first contacting your dealer or TivoliAudio. This warranty is non-transferable.
Please resist the temptation to take apart your radio. There are no user serviceable parts, and any
attempt at modifying or repairing your radio will void the warranty.
Tivoli Audio will not pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of your product, or damaged caused
by this product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of consequential dam-
ages, therefore, these restrictions may not apply to you.
If you purchased an extended warranty from your dealer and service is required after the manufacturer’s
warranty has expired, you should contact your dealer to obtain service.
Please complete and return the enclosed card within 30 days of purchase to register your product for
warranty coverage, or you may register on-line at: www.tivoliaudio.com

Guide to features (rear panel):
1. Input: Plug one end of the connecting cable (included) into this jack. Plug the other end of the connect-
ing cable into the jack on the back of the Model Two radio marked “SUB”. This jack accepts a 1/8" male
mini plug.
2. 12-16V DC: Use this input to operate the Model Subwoofer from a DC power supply.
3. 120V-60Hz: Connect the supplied power cord to this jack.
Placement:
Since bass frequencies are non-directional, the Model Subwoofer can generally be placed anywhere on
the floor in the listening room. Placement close to a wall or in the corner of a room will yield more bass.
However, be sure there is enough ventilation to prevent heat build-up from the internal amplifier. The
Model Subwoofer is not a small table or footrest and should not be used as such. Placing the subwoofer
up high, such as on a bookshelf or a counter, is not recommended.
The Model Subwoofer is not magnetically-shielded and caution should be exercised when using this unit
near a computer monitor or television set. We recommend the Model Subwoofer be a minimum of 10"
from a computer monitor or TV.
